“I really love parlour room. The bar is so cool. When you walk in it has a cool vibe like old New York. I like the bottle display and they have a shaker machine that super shakes the cocktails. So fun: the bartender said it’s the only one in nyc. I love the cocktails and i definitely come here when we see a show or after dinner drinks, but the food here is good too! Then we pop over to bo peep the speak easy next door“

“Check out my I G lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more footage of our experience. Bodai in Midtown Manhattan offers a rare and memorable dining experience. The restaurant blends Buddhist philosophy with royal vegetarian cuisine inspired by the Qing Palace. It was my first time trying a full vegetarian tasting menu, and I was impressed by how flavorful and creative every dish was. The mushroom dishes stood out the most, especially the Stichotas japonicus with cucumber sauce, the pan-seared boletus with green millet, and the Nepal mushroom quinoa with pepper sauce. Each course felt balanced and intentional—low oil, low sugar, and focused on natural taste. Even traditional dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and zhajiang noodles were reimagined beautifully. The dessert, called “Nectar of the Core,” was light and refreshing. Dining at Bodai feels like a calm, thoughtful journey through color, texture, and flavor. If you’re looking for an elevated vegetarian meal in NYC, this is worth a visit.“

“Cafe Carmellini doesn’t serve dinner — it stages it. The space feels like if old New York and Paris had a perfectly dressed baby. Every detail is choreographed, but it never feels stiff.
Started with the zucchini flowers lobster and artichoke Provençal — light, layered, and borderline poetic. The duck, duck, duck tortellini? A playful name hiding serious precision — pure Carmellini flex.
Then the squab en cocotte landed like a mic drop — perfectly cooked, rich but composed, the kind of dish that makes you remember why New York is still the best food city on Earth.
Closed it out with the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate ganache — pure indulgence, no regrets.
Verdict: 9.6/10.
Cafe Carmellini is what happens when craftsmanship meets confidence. Every bite says, we know exactly what we’re doing.“

“By far the best food experience I’ve ever had - and I’ve travelled the world. The food was divine, the flavours were spot on, the wine was perfectly paired and the service was impeccable. An unforgettable way to celebrate a milestone birthday with dear friends - an evening to remember for the company and the food. Thank you team Frevo 🙏🏻“

“The food was on point, the snow crab and Hamachi were my favorite. The lamb chops and chicken w Porridge were also super delicious. The octopus and deviled eggs would be the third on the recommendation list.
I could pass on the Quail and Beignet Ice cream. Not bad for sure.“

“Yingtao is an awesome spot! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made — every dish tastes authentic and perfectly balanced. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home, and the atmosphere is cozy but modern. Everything from the dumplings to the noodles was spot-on. Definitely one of my new favorite places to eat! 🥢🍜✨“

“Took a friend for a birthday lunch today. The table was nicely decorated with some birthday confetti and there was a lovely birthday card for him. Lunch was excellent from the butternut squash soup and Caesar salad apps to our NY strip steaks and sides. They added a sweet ending with a dessert that said Happy Birthday. Thank you so much!“

“The food and service at HAGS was flawless. The various dishes were delicious and creative. There was perfect timing between the courses. Everything was done with genuine love.
It’s obvious that a tremendous amount of thought and care went into everything — from the menu — to the decor — to the service.
There’s an amazing vegan and omnivore menu. The vegan cheeses and butters are made in-house — and taste incredible.
The kitchen staff accommodated my dietary restrictions — and added a creative flair.
It’s a really cute, queer-owned restaurant. It’s a tiny spot — but everything is very well organized. Everyone feels welcomed, with the full complexity of their identities.
HAGS was perfect in every way. I highly recommend it. 5/5 stars.“

“This was my first time trying omakase in New York, and I went alone — but the experience couldn’t have been better. From the beginning, the staff made sure to ask about any allergies or dietary restrictions, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, and the service was incredibly attentive and kind without being overbearing. Every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully explained. I felt completely taken care of the whole time.
Also, I was honestly surprised by how reasonably priced the wine and sake were — definitely not what I expected in NYC.
Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for a welcoming and high-quality omakase experience.“

“Saga is a 10 points experience from start to finish. It is a wonderful place to celebrate a loved one and share the experience with friends. You arrive, they meet you with a choice of two drinks, that then the waitress takes to the table.
We chose the seasonal tasting menu which goes through multiple courses. Both menus were great. They were able to accommodate a vegetarian menu as we called with time. Each of the dishes were absolutely delicious.
We also did the wine pairing, the discovery selection of wines. We tried so many incredible wines. It was totally worth.
Staff were on point every step of the way. They were super kind, accommodating and walked us through each step with kindness.
Totally recommend Saga.“

“EMP has been on my bucket list for a long time. When I found out they were featuring meat courses again, I was ecstatic because we happen to be in town. I was lucky enough to grab one of their bar tasting menu reservations. We’ve had the privilege to dine at many Worlds Best and Michelin starred restaurants around the world, so I had extremely high hopes.
The courses were good, but nothing really wowed me. I wish they offered less vegan courses. Since we do not drink alcohol, I was surprised to see a non-alcoholic wine pairing. I opted for it ($135) bc I was intrigued, but I would not get it again. The white pairings were delicious, but the red pairings all tasted sour and left a bad aftertaste. I only had a sip. Service was exceptional, I did not expect anything less. For the price, I would rather go to Per Se or Le Bernardin.“

He was very polite, attentive and had a great sense of humor, which made the whole experience really relaxed and enjoyable. Thanks to him our brunch was truly memorable. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I went here for dinner on a weekday. The server was Rian and she was the best. The bread was great. The shrimp cocktail was great. The crab cocktail was just ok. The bacon was great. And I had the bone in ribeye and it was perfect. Great food.“

“The food here hits on every course so you’ll always be pleased. Service is on its best game and you definitely leave feeling like you were engaged with a completely premium experience. My only gripe is that they offer many supplements (that are not cheap) and they present them to you in stages so you always feel like you’re being upsold. I’d much rather pay a known fee early and just enjoy the rest of my experience.“

“Great experience. Presentation 4/5. Server quality varied, some were great at presenting the dishes for the tasting menu, but some were not event intellible. Just saying, each dish had such a rich background and it would be great that we could catch call. Special thanks to Alex for the night!“

“Brilliant. I have eaten at most of the high end restaurants in Manhattan for over 55 years. This is the top of the cake. You will only have a great experience every time. Everything about this eatery is 5 star and only gets more fabulous each time you go.

“If you decide to impress and enjoy a good meal the capital grille is the spot. My wife and I enjoyed this elegant establishment in lower Manhattan in the evening which makes it more romantic or just special. The clams were amazing and steak yum . It's dimly lit for great ambiance. And has a old bank safe inside . The special occasion for us was my birthday 🎂“

“Great Middle Eastern restaurant! All food that we ordered was delicious and tasty! From the outside it was okay but when you taste their food then you will change your mind! Location: It is located on second avenue, the interior is nice with a nice bar in the side. The outdoor seating is better, cause it is spacious and more safer and comfortable. Service: The servers are nice, they gave you good recommendations. A little bit busy as usual, but they try their best to accommodate! Also, they gave us free shots because we get along with the servers. Food: All that we ordered was delicious, small servings tho but the taste of the food was good! FALAFEL PLATTER: omg the hummus that comes with it are so good! Silky and perfect with the falafel and pita that comes with it. It is good for sharing or even by yourself! BURATTA: the cheese is soft and delicious. It comes with bacon or ham? I'm not sure but it tastes good with the burrata. CALAMARI: we were sad when it came cause we thought it was fried but man it was so good, it was grilled and it taste like a ceviche. EGGPLANT SCHNITZEL: the fried eggplant is so good and not over fried so the softness of the eggplant was retained. FROZEN PASSION FRUIT DAQUIRI: omg it was so good and refreshing, but hits you at the end! LOL Price rating: 8/10, it was not that bad for the price. The food was great. Will definitely come back here if I pass by second avenue and if I crave for good hummus and that passion fruit daiquiri! LOL“

“I absolutely loved my experience at The Garden. The staff were so kind and attentive — from the moment I walked in, they made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The decor is stunning — lush plants, beautiful trees, and soft lighting that makes the whole space feel like a serene oasis right in the middle of the city. It’s such an elegant and chic spot for a meal, whether you’re meeting friends or just taking a peaceful break from the NYC buzz.
And I have to mention the Matcha — it was incredible. So smooth, perfectly balanced, and easily one of the best I’ve had in the city. I’d honestly come back just for that alone. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a little escape paired with amazing service and ambiance.“
“me and my cousin walked just wandered in looking for a random bar. Now let me get this straight, we both are black, if you black, this bar aint for you. This the whitest club i've ever been to. But im gonna give it 5 stars cause the white people was having fun, and ngl we had fun too. And that's what a bar on friday night is about. I didnt know the songs but i found the beat quick enough and was dancing, everyone was nice. No problems with staff or customers. If you looking for a bar to chill at on a friday after roaming the city and you end up on 14th street on the east side, give this a try.“
“We are here 3 mornings during our stay and each was wonderful. The setting is classic and beautifully done. The tables and service items classical. The meh offerings widely varied and perfectly prepared. Love the light to serious breakfast options. Constantly refilling water, juices, coffee etc. staff check in you with the perfect regularity. Only issue is many of the servings are simply too large for me or my wife to ever finish!!? It's over obj can't but tastes so good we always left more than full. We will always eat there when staying at St Regis!!!“
