🌱 Golden beets burrata is refreshing, not too special but a good starter to activate your appetite.

🌱 Oyster is so good. It’s not huge oyster, but fresh and seasoned perfectly.

Conclusion: 9/10, on the slightly expensive side, big wine choice, great for dates. Mini space so recommend to make a reservation, will come back again.“

“Small little corner store on lower level of short hills mall. Can’t help but see the 20+ flavors available of chocolates. Plus fresh made gelato must of been about 15 flavors. I got the mango & strawberry in a cup. Lined with chocolate and nuts. Was awesome. Got to sample the milk chocolate as well. VERY GOOD…..“

“This place deserves five stars. The ice cream is delicious. The flavors are inventive (recommend the Thai iced tea, kaya, ube, Melona, sweet corn, blueberries and cream, banana milk, and passion fruit). The shop is generous about sampling. The staff is allergy-aware. And the service is always friendly...that is, until you ask for a cover for your cup. Please, please, please, PLEASE Sundae's Best owners - buy covers for cup sizes other than the large, and/or tell your staff that it's OK to plop the smaller cup into a large cup and throw a cover on there. We are your neighbors; we have been to the shop dozens of times; and we plan to visit dozens of times more - but we have small kids and small appetites, and we want to cover our ice cream to take home and put in the freezer. There is no reason for your staff to slam cups, make faces, or flat out refuse to cover ice cream that costs $23+ dollars for three servings. Every time - EVERY TIME - they have an issue just when we ask for a cover. For Pete's sake, this is a basic part of running an ice cream shop and ruins an otherwise wonderful experience EVERY TIME.“

“Often local fruit sorbet from the union square greenmarket, such as Grape (fall), Strawberry, Berry Fruiti Di Bosco, and Apricot, seems more fresh and more natural. “Saw this on grubhub and since it was close by, decided to visit. Both burger and milkshake were excellent and done perfectly for my taste. Total cost was pretty good value and the space was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was that it was pretty busy, so order took a while and also I can see it might be difficult to get a seat during peak hours. Good thing most people are in and out pretty quickly. Also, there was a credit card processing fee if you choose to pay by card, which I thought was a bit uncommon in NY..“

“Ordered recently for my birthday two cookies online which were Chocolate Mallow Cupcake Cookie and the Pink Velvet Cake Cookie which were amazing and delicious. The order was ready when I arrived. The place does get a bit packed but the staff do a great job of crowd control. Oscar was amazing and handed my order and ask if I needed a bag which is great customer service. Highly recommend this place.“

“Matcha Cafe Maiko is my favorite spot for desserts! This spot is my go-to, especially when I'm craving matcha or hojicha flavors. The Maiko Special is always one of my favorites to order and share with a friend, but this month's specials were black sesame which I knew I had to try as well! I ordered the black sesame soft serve and my friend ordered the black sesame latte, and both were incredible! I'm a huge fan of black sesame flavored desserts, and these really hit the spot.

Also loved how the shop was decorated beautifully for Halloween! Amazing quality desserts, service, and vibes. I also appreciate how this location has a few benches outside, so when I visit with friends, we're able to sit together right outside the shop and enjoy our desserts. I've been here several times and will definitely will keep coming back!“

The dry ice (which seemed pretty minimal for how much we ordered) had completely evaporated, and the mochi was soup. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. “We stopped in out of curiosity—just to see what they had—and ended up splitting two flavors of absolutely superb gelato! I started with a taste of walnut & fig (excellent), then we asked the server what his favorite flavors are. He said raspberry, which a lot of people pair with ferrero rocher. We chose raspberry as well as salted caramel, and loved every delicious taste of both flavors. It’s a tiny place, but well worth seeking it out.“

Despite its popularity, the service was impressively quick, allowing us to get our treats without a long wait. A pleasant surprise was the vegan ice cream selection—not a huge variety, but certainly more than the usual sorbet-only options found elsewhere. We opted for a single scoop of hazelnut chocolate chip in a cup, which was really tasty, though it had a slightly synthetic aftertaste.
