“Food was great. We got the burrata, which was among the best I’ve had, hibachi crudo, and crispy rice with scallop and roe, which was uniquely tasty.
However, the open kitchen concept isn’t more interesting than getting your clothes to smell like food.“

“Small little corner store on lower level of short hills mall. Can’t help but see the 20+ flavors available of chocolates. Plus fresh made gelato must of been about 15 flavors. I got the mango & strawberry in a cup. Lined with chocolate and nuts. Was awesome. Got to sample the milk chocolate as well. VERY GOOD…..“

“A must-visit shop for ice cream lovers! First of all, the best part is that there is a huge variety, from classic flavors to quirky and unique flavors. It's also fun to be able to choose your own toppings and create your own original sundae. The inside of the store is casual and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and provide good service. The prices are reasonable, so it's recommended to go and share with friends and family. This is an irresistible spot for those with a sweet tooth!“

“Often local fruit sorbet from the union square greenmarket, such as Grape (fall), Strawberry, Berry Fruiti Di Bosco, and Apricot, seems more fresh and more natural. The traditional Italian Pistachio and Hazelnut are also very good, and all seem lower in sugar than other gelato and ice cream shops.“

“Saw this on grubhub and since it was close by, decided to visit. Both burger and milkshake were excellent and done perfectly for my taste. Total cost was pretty good value and the space was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was that it was pretty busy, so order took a while and also I can see it might be difficult to get a seat during peak hours. Good thing most people are in and out pretty quickly. Also, there was a credit card processing fee if you choose to pay by card, which I thought was a bit uncommon in NY..“

“It’s so exciting to find an all vegan ice cream place, and I think the actual ice cream presentation is unique! You can pre-select from their options of soft-serve, crumb coating and sauce combinations or create your own.
I got the chocolate peanut butter pretzel cone with sweet cream ice cream. One thing that’s cool is that before putting soft serve in the cone, they put some of the sauces and topping, so once you eat the top of the cone, you can still get all those flavors. Then once the soft serve is in the cone, it’s covered in the coating of your choice (pretzel for me), and the sauces were drizzled on top. The way sauces were done for this one was a bit messy to eat, but super delicious. I loved the texture the pretzel coating added!
The price was also reasonable in terms of what ice cream sundaes cost in NYC.
The shop itself is small, and there’s only 3 stools inside. Because my cone was messy, I don’t think I’d want to try and walk with it, so I was happy I came during a less busy time and was able to get a stool. Also, the only way to order is through a tablet, and while the employee working did communicate she was there to answer any questions about the menu, it was a slightly weird experience of having an employee be right there, but then typing in your order — but also maybe during busier times, the system is really beneficial ??♀️

“Love that there's a seated area. Clean space nice staff. Taste of the ice cream was very good don't get me wrong, but a single scoop in a cup with 1 topping was $9.74 😅. And it's a *single* scoop it's not reaching the top of the cup 😅 Not gonna give them a bad review just bc I may be a bit too frugal for a ten dollar singular scoop of ice cream. Just the most memorable part of my experience 😅“

“A place to treat our little ones.
We ordered a pack of 6 cookies to bring to Spain with no expectations that they would arrive whole in the suitcase and surprisingly they arrived perfect 😃 (later I realized that they could be carried in your hand to take them on the plane as a personal item) 😉
They gave them to us warm and newly decorated.
Just don't expect much sympathy from the employees 🙄“

“Matcha Cafe Maiko is my favorite spot for desserts! This spot is my go-to, especially when I'm craving matcha or hojicha flavors. The Maiko Special is always one of my favorites to order and share with a friend, but this month's specials were black sesame which I knew I had to try as well! I ordered the black sesame soft serve and my friend ordered the black sesame latte, and both were incredible! I'm a huge fan of black sesame flavored desserts, and these really hit the spot.
Also loved how the shop was decorated beautifully for Halloween! Amazing quality desserts, service, and vibes. I also appreciate how this location has a few benches outside, so when I visit with friends, we're able to sit together right outside the shop and enjoy our desserts. I've been here several times and will definitely will keep coming back!“

“There is a unique ice cream that is difficult to taste in Korea.
It is the first ice cream on the sundae ice cream menu, and it is topped with olive oil, honey, and salt. The taste and texture of honey and olive oil are good, and the salty taste of salt gives it a kick. Be sure to try it.

“I came here for lunch the other day. I didn't even know there was a Shake Shack in the area. It was a bit out of the way. The store was big and brightly lit. They had tons of seating and cashier and ordering kiosks. The service was quick and the food came out hot. I will say, that I feel like the portion sizes at Shake Shack has gotten smaller.“

“If I had written a review after my initial impression, it would’ve been a 1-star. We ordered $110 worth of mochi, plus $30 shipping. It was shipped via fedex, and delayed along the way. (Obviously no fault of the company) but when it did finally arrive, I knew immediately, before even opening the box that it was going to be bad. There was no sensation of cold whatsoever. The dry ice (which seemed pretty minimal for how much we ordered) had completely evaporated, and the mochi was soup. We were so looking forward to trying the mochi, but it was an utter disappointment. We immediately emailed the company, and with no argument at all, they sent us an entirely new order. This time, it arrived quickly, packaged better with double the dry ice, and the mochi was perfect! Best I’ve ever had! We will DEFINITELY order again!“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“I visited to try mixing the chocolate flavor with other flavors that aren't available in Korea, but the chocolate flavor was probably sold out, so I was disappointed that it wasn't there. The staff gave me a tasting spoon to try the lime flavor, and I chose the lime flavor because it was refreshing! I also recommend mixing rainbow and lime.“

“The place was impeccable and the staff were the most genuine I've encountered in NYC (Hard to find kind and genuine staff) Laura Fabian and Henry were incredible attentive and detailed in their service. Thank you for such a lovely experience for something as simple as an ice cream. Will visit that location again!“
“matcha is slightly sweetened already, but I also asked them to sweeten it juuust a little more and I loved it. they used vanilla and also have honey, sugar, etc. baristas are very friendly and take their time making your matcha the right way (measured, sifted, whisked, etc.). will be back ?“
“This is a branch of the redoubtable Chinatown Ice Cream Factory, with all of the superb flavors that place offers: ube, zen butter (a beguiling mixture of peanut butter and toasted sesame seeds), green tea, and so many more. A special bonus of this location: no crowds, at least when I have visited. I went with a double-cookie play on my last visit: matcha and cookies beneath almond cookie. Rich, thick stuff. I’m a fan. Note well: cash or Venmo only.“

“We stopped in out of curiosity—just to see what they had—and ended up splitting two flavors of absolutely superb gelato! I started with a taste of walnut & fig (excellent), then we asked the server what his favorite flavors are. He said raspberry, which a lot of people pair with ferrero rocher. We chose raspberry as well as salted caramel, and loved every delicious taste of both flavors. It’s a tiny place, but well worth seeking it out.“

“I chanced upon Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream after iftar with a friend and decided to be adventurous—trying the Pineapple and Salted Egg Ice Cream. No regrets! The flavor instantly reminded me of the Taiwanese Pineapple Tarts my mother used to make, bringing a sense of home in every bite. The ice cream was creamy, rich in pineapple flavor, with salted egg crumbs adding a delightful savory contrast. It was absolutely divine!
Now, I’m even more excited to return and try their Takis-flavored ice cream next. Can’t wait!“

“Well located and easy to spot dessert place, making it a convenient stop while exploring the city. Despite its popularity, the service was impressively quick, allowing us to get our treats without a long wait. A pleasant surprise was the vegan ice cream selection—not a huge variety, but certainly more than the usual sorbet-only options found elsewhere. We opted for a single scoop of hazelnut chocolate chip in a cup, which was really tasty, though it had a slightly synthetic aftertaste. Prices were on the higher side, but given the tourist-heavy location, that was somewhat expected. Overall, provided a solid experience, and we’d happily return to try more of their offerings.“
