“Food is always amazing, and I will never stop going there, but one thing confuses me. Every time I order a gluten free meal for takeout, there is a giant hunk of bread in the bag. With the gluten free meal. After calling and indicating a gluten allergy. So my wife has to remove the bread and clean the container before I can eat. It's worth the trouble, but it seems like a no-brainer that when someone orders gluten free, there shouldn't be bread in the bag.“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“I met Luigi for the first time this weekend. He treated me like family, insisted I have a glass of wine while waiting for my order. We shared a little bit of life story with each other, and he sent me home with 2 desserts and the best pizza I have eaten in a while!! “The best Sicilian in Putnam County. Crunchy bottom, soft and tasty inside. My husband and I get a whole pie, it’s the best fresh out of the oven, we eat two or three slices in the restaurant and take home the rest, freeze for lunches. Bring a devoted Sicilian slice customer I ventured out to a salad, not any salad, their Asian salad. Cold crisp romaine lettuce, crispy chow mein noodles, sliced almonds and mandarin oranges, and the best Asian dressing. Really a very enjoyable salad. A great place for good food and great staff.“

“Mezzaluna restaurant is a great place to visit. I live in South Carolina and when my wife and I travel to NY we always visit Mezzaluna several times a week. “Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. “Don't get a sandwich that you know is covered in sauce delivered if you're going to complain about it being soggy. Don't order a pizza like this in Connecticut if you can't handle relatively thin crust. Don't give local businesses bad reviews based on one questionable experience you had. So many of the bad reviews on this are for the pettiest things when, in reality, this is the best pizza you're going to get in this town (and I'd wager it's cheaper than Pepe's). Don't get me wrong, Pepe's is good, but every Pepe's location outside the original in New Haven isn't anything special and Soho provides as good if not better pizza at a similar if not lower price compared to the satellite locations (like the Danbury one). Also this is definitely local and Pepe's isn't so much. Support local and exercise sanity. This place is good“
