“Sushi & Kimchi has become my new favorite comfy, cozy, and cute hideaway in Rockland for when I want the best tasting and authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine. Gina (owner) and Julie (waitress) are both absolutely lovely! Both Gina and the restaurant remind me of what I recall to have been the first Korean/Japanese sushi house in Bardonia, NY that I grew up up dining at in the early 2000’s and up until I moved out of state in 2008. Unfortunately, that location is no longer in business, but Sushi & Kimchi definitely gives all the nostalgic feels! The foos is always fresh and absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, the service is always on point, and you’re welcomed each time with a warm welcome from everyone! It’s a little hidden gem in a parking lot off of Route 59 in Nyack that winds down in the late afternoon and is calm in the evening. The perfect place to go for an overall relaxing experience that will have you leaving full after having enjoyed every last bite! I’ve also ordered through DoorDash and the presentation, temperature, taste and overall quality were all solid as well. Thoroughly impressed!

Pros: The food again is delicious, good quality. The place is easy to find, it's got parking in front (at least when I came). The staff were nice, friendly and I'm sure they probably know the frequent patrons by name. The food is ready when you call in at the time they state.

Cons: The price was slightly expensive, I'd like to come more frequently but not at those prices. So not a real complaint.“

The moment you walk in, you’re greeted and made to feel welcome. The waitresses are consistently polite, attentive, and always carry a genuine smile. In particular, the waitress with the slicked-back hair has a way of elevating every visit; she’s made several special occasions truly memorable. “We were first time been osaka sushi last night , it was very cold outside , but restaurant was very warm , the waitress was very nice and friendly , we didn’t know how it was work about ayce, waitress was very patient to tell me how it is works, we had 3 round sushi and kitchen, everything was great and delicious , we recommend more and more people come to try this sushi spot. “Best Sushi in Yonkers. All the rolls are absolutely fresh and decadent. The quesadillas are excellent as well. A fun mix of Sushi & Mexican. A must go to if ever in Yonkers. I even dare say it is the best sushi in the Bronx. They are located less than 1/3 of a mile from the Bronx border and they deliver to the surrounding neighborhood in the Bronx. The guy who took our order is very amicable. The sushi chef prepares the rolls right in front of you. It was a great experience.“

“A great dining experience here. Loved the handrolls, homemade Udon noodles (!!), unique and interesting appetizers, fairly big portions for Japanese food, good service and minimalist decor. The dessert special on weekdays is amazing but they're huge, hope you saved room!
I'm going to deduct 1 star for the mediocre Sashimi over rice, which isn't quite chirashi but also not as flavorful as poke.
They also have a ton of non-alcoholic beverages and byob (wish we knew that before going tho.) Also, there doesn't need to be 2 different pork katsus (pork loin vs pork tenderloin), why not replace one with something new or inventive? But yes, they're delicious regardless. Can't wait to come back.“

“I just finished a fabulous Hawaiian poke bowl that I would recommend to anyone. A perfect blend of crunchy spicy and succulent. My choice is to have it over greens, but I think it would be just as good over brown rice. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient with new customers, and so helpful. “This is the place if you want authentic, high quality, Japanese food. The small dishes on the separate menu are really delightful.

Prices reflect food quality. Be prepared to pay for the best all around Japanese food in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable.

The servers were polite, no issues in this department.

“I've been going here for years & the food is great & fairly priced. They have a great maki lunch meal with soup/salad & 3 rollls for a decent price. Their bento box is great! You gey to choose 2 meats plus a roll, shumai, rice & tempura veggies and soup & salad. Very good. Even better they a stamp card & you get stamps for every $25 you spend. Once card had has 10 stamps you get a $25 gift card to apply to your next visit. Honestly, lovely staff & calm environment. So glad its a neighborhood staple.“

“Such a lovely experience here. Great value and really tasty food. I got the teriyaki salmon and a veggie tempura, and the server was so friendly and patient—she suggested I switch to the smaller tempura so it wouldn’t be too much. I’m glad I listened because the portions were generous.

The salmon was crispy and tender, and the rice was delicious. As a true salmon lover, I was really happy. The only little drawback was finding a small bone in the salmon. The tempura was authentic and worth trying. I’d happily come back again.“

“The food was very fresh. You can savor all the vegetables. Decent portions. My fiancé had the Salmon Hibachi along with the Volcano Roll rolls and I had two special sushi rolls; Godzilla roll (Really good!!!) and some other one I forgot the name.
Very little traffic so service was great. The lady who attended us always had a smile and was very friendly.
We stopped by around 7 pm. Bathrooms were clean. For us two we spent about $65
