“We hosted our Utica-Rome Chapter dinner at Monarch Banquets and couldn’t have been happier. The food was outstanding, and Joe and Monica were incredibly accommodating—communicating clearly right up to the day before the event. They never gave me any trouble, even as I kept adding guests to the list! I’m sad to see them leave the business, but excited for whatever comes next in their journey. Thank you for helping make our evening so special!“

“I brought my family to Rooster’s last weekend and we had an incredible experience. The smash burgers are tasty, but the best part about the place is the owner and his staff. They took the time to make sure our kids had what they needed to be comfortable and happy. Lots of smiles and good conversations, we will definitely be going back here on future Utica visits!!!“

“First time dining here in awhile. The service was excellent! The waitress was so friendly! I gave atmosphere a four-star because it was a little bit too stuffy and warm inside. The food was delicious we were very happy with all of our choices!“

“Most of the Area baby boomer cut our drinking teeth at the Post. I remember Larry behind the bar, always a great venue for the up & coming local bands. Pool Foose ball and an occasional trip to the porch! still to this day when I travel back to visit Rome Its my Go to spot to enjoy good folks and good music !“

“In sporting vernacular: grand slam, eagle, bullseye!! The planning for my 50th birthday party started with Motus months prior. The details of the menu, signature cocktail, embellishments and affordable pricing were as smooth as silk. The follow up meetings were effective and brief. Every detail was accommodated in style and with class. When Alicia said not to worry, they will handle everything, I left it in their capable hands and didn’t give it another thought. The event of about 30 family and dear friends was an astounding and resounding success. One word: Delicious! The presentation was wonderful. The service was timely, accurate, professional, and nearly invisible throughout the evening. Everyone is still raving about the menu variety, service, and the General sumptuousness of the event. This was the best choice. Alicia, you are wonderful!! We are still on cloud 9. This one review represents 28 rave accolades and approvals. Job well done!“

“Dave Morgan is #1 in my book. Catered my daughter s wedding on October 9, 2022. Not one stone was left unturned. The food was dead on and the service he provided was fantastic! You will not be disappointed when Dave Morgan and his crew roll in! Dave is all about what you the client wants. Just say it and he does it to a T! Thank you Dave for all you did for us❤️“

“Food is great, service was pretty good. Everything is made on location, even bread & desserts. Best restaurant in Rome, easily. I had a "lobster tail" for dessert (flaky pastry in shape of lobster tail filled with chocolate mousse). It was off-the-charts-GREAT. Go! Prices are very decent, food is great.“

“We have eaten in twice, and done takeout once, recently, and all three experiences were excellent. Our waitress/ cook was welcoming and attentive. Pizza was cooked perfectly, with ample toppings. We tried different flavors of wings each time, and the favorites were Everything, Sweet n’ Spicy, and Honey Barbecue. Highly recommend! We will be back soon!“

“Just went to get ice cream at Friendly’s, and it was the best service that I’ve had there in a long time!! Fast service, workers were very polite and the peanut butter cup sundae was amazing! It actually had ice cream and toppings!!! Not sure all the workers names, but it was 7/5/22 -9:30 pm. Thank you!!“

“Best experience I’ve ever had! My server Jackie was very attentive, fast, friendly, and emitted so much radiance and beauty. She made me feel so comfortable that I feel like I’ve known her FOREVER! Aside from the WONDERFUL service, the food was soooo DELICIOUS! 10000/10 experience for sure!!!“

“Hubby and I were just passing through town and the B&B we stayed at suggested Ocean Blue.
We sat outside and it was a beautiful evening and area to do so.
Service was on point and waiter/bar tender were very friendly.
Hubs loves raw oysters, they were a bit small but he said very tasty.
The happy hour specials are a great selection of drinks and apps with reasonable prices.
Main course was delicious. Crab cakes were actually crab meat and not a bunch of filler.
The homemade pasta....WOW! I gave up my carb allowance for the next week to have it and not disappointed that I did. The meat sauce on it was delicious and reminded me of a relatives homemade pasta and sauce.“

“This is a great place for lunch meetings. I meet two of my good friends every two weeks here to enjoy the good food and to visit with Barb, excellent service!! I really like their homemade horseradish sauce, and fried pickle skewers as an appetizer! They have really good food and sizable portions.“

“Awesome local spot! The staff, prices and vibe are all fantastic. It's a very welcoming spot for younger and older crowds 🤘🏻 Highly recommended.“

“An absolutely amazing place to go and having me up with your loved one or your whole family. We stopped by and the service was amazing. “If you have never been to Castlewood Cafe, now is the time! With higher prices and decreasing quality and every popular chain, Castlewood continues to offer their large menu, with same quality products! They have not changed that in this economy! My family chooses Castlewood over all the restaurants in this area! What’s more, the friendly smiles and excellent waiting staff! I strongly recommend this small mom and pop diner that has a menu to satisfy everyone, even the pickiest of eaters!“

“Love this place. I Never had a bad meal. The staff are pleasant. I go on my 30 minute lunch. I have time to eat and drive back to work. Today I had a tuna sandwich and a bowl of Homemade New England Clam Chowder. The tuna was white albacore (amazing) and the soup was delish. Prices are reasonable. I really didn't want to write this review as I am now afraid they will get busier and I will have to call my orders in but it is well deserved.“

“Great place for parties and to bring your kids for game!!“

“Great people serving the absolute best fish fry in CNY!“

“always enjoy breakfast at lunchtime.“

“Haven't been to a Denny's in a long time. They've remodeled since the last time I was here. Quiet. Clean. The food was spot on. I love when it's exactly what I'm craving. Runny eggs with toast and bacon. If those eggs aren't just right, it can be a let down. But it wasn't.“

“Good was great, Hot, Fresh..“
