As for delivery, they always exceed expectations because the food is always earlier than the suggested time and the drivers are very kind and friendly! “It looks like a greasy spoon sort of diner cafe. A neighborhood place. The meatloaf was good. The iced coffee was ok. The service was impeccable. It looks a little rundown but you don't go there for ambiance. I will return to try something else.“

“While in the area trying to kill time, we decided to grab brunch with an outdoor dining since we had our pup with us. Even though their outdoor patio wasn’t setup, there was a single table outside on the corner, which they ended up allowing us to sit at.

Once we sat down, the waitress was quick to bring us utensils and menus. Not only did she bring us water, she also brought ice and water for my dog —this was so generous for her to be so accommodating. For food, I ordered the Breakfast Burrito ($17) while the boyfriend had the Cheeseburger ($16) with Bacon (+$3). Our food came out quickly and they both also came with potato sides. The fries were super crispy and tasty, but the home fries were just ok.

Overall, the food is mediocre here —nothing to run home about. But what stood out to me here is the service with our waiter specifically. She was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of the entire time.“

“I appreciate talent and I believe you can find talent in anything. The art of "bread-tending" is observed to the highest level here. It may just be a piece of toast you use to dip in your egg yolk or eat with a little dollop of the best jam east of the Hudson river. BUT, that toast is more than that. There is a set of well trained hands that prepare that toast for you. Someone that has prepared toast thousands of times and everything from the sound of her slicing the toast is perfect. The food is always delicious, generously well priced, and the customer service is always really nice. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that came with fries, along with an extra side of onion rings. That came up to $20 on the dot, and with the portions they serve, I was more than happy with that price. I have, and I will continue to go to this amazing restaurant. We sat at the bar and our server, Rebecca, was super nice, attentive, bilingual (which was helpful for our group), and gave great food recommendations.

I ordered the braised short rib 5/5 would order again in a heartbeat, especially for the price. Comes with brasato sauce a lemon vinaigrette, perfect for cutting the richness. Some of our party ordered veggie burgers, others ordered chicken noodle soup. I also ordered a mocha.

“A GEM find in Long Island City. Walking distance from our hotel, perfect little diner for breakfast or lunch. We ordered breakfast for lunch:) the pancakes were some of the best we’ve ever had! I had blueberry pancakes & both of my kids had pancakes. They came out fast and steaming hot, PERFECT. And the prices were so reasonable. This is an a must visit!“

They were really nice, the service was quick, and the portions were great. Also super affordable within the city!

“We went for brunch to this restaurant with our grandchildren. We were greeted by the nicest waiters of all time. My husband and I had the Club Sandwich and our grandson had pancakes and bacon. The portions were so generous and quite affordable. Our granddaughter was sleeping in a stroller and the lady who greeted us even helped us tilt the back of her stroller down and find the perfect place to sit to accommodate her. Wonderful place to go for lunch!“

“Be sure to have cash on hand. This place does not have transactions through using your debit card. You have to have cash in order to pay for your food. It does not have a sign that says must have cash, but when my wife and I went to pay for our breakfast we were told cash only. So as a heads up, make sure you have cash in your pocket in order to pay for your food. But overall we love the food we love the service and we love the atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place for anyone.“
