“I could scream this place is so good. Went on a totally random whim looking for something nearby and holy hell this place is incredible in every way and if I lived anywhere nearby I would basically move in.

The vibes are amazing - such highly curated art and seating from intimate booths to living room sofas and chairs. There’s tons of varied seating up front and then more tables and a wraparound bar in the back. It feels like a cozy 70s basement bar in Greenpoint.

Then there’s the food, omg. We tried the deviled eggs, fried chicken, brisket nachos, fries, and kale salad. All were 10/10. And cocktails were also delish.

“Top shelf!!! We had a group of 17 for lunch. Everyone raved about the excellent food and the wonderful and friendly service. Our menu included London Broil, Salmon, Ceasars Salad with Chicken and Vegetable Quiche with side salad. We had a variety of servings. Everything was sooooo good! Best restaurant in Kingston. We couldn't have chosen a better place.“

“Ate at Good night for the first time and would highly recommend it if you like Asian inspired foods. We had Shan Tofu, the Mussels, pasta and Trout. The stars were the tofu and mussels. It’s not easy to say great things about appetizers like tofu and mussels, but let me say the follow. The tofu was made with garbanzo beans instead of soybeans. This makes a huge difference in taste and texture. The mussels were cooked in a yellow curry sauce. If you like a curry that’s got a great taste and isn’t too expensive, this is your dish. Want to try something wonderful? Did the tofu into the mussels curry. Yum!“

“Loved this restaurant! We had a lovely round of drinks from their fun menu; sake margarita and a black cosmo? The service was good, our server started strong and did get slower as our meal went on but the restaurant also got busy so it made sense. Luckily they had busboys helping out. All the meals we had were delicious, specifically the burrata appetizer. We also had the most delicious sweet potato cheesecake for dessert, it might be seasonal though so go in now! Also our chocolate martinis were to die for, props to the bartender. It was a bit pricey but had a lovely chic and fancy vibe. My whole party really enjoyed our dinner here, highly recommend a visit!“

“Small menu but very good. My best compliment to this restaurant is their margaritas. They are the most genuine margaritas you will find, not some 20 ounce full of fillers and sour mix crap. The margaritas alone are why I still trek up to Armadillos. Their use of radishes in the food is also refreshing and delicious“

“Stopped in here when I was real hungry and driving back from the Baseball Hall of Fame... food was great... I'd be back if I didn't live on opposite sides of Dutchess County.. if I walked more then 100 ft I'd be in Putnam/Fairfield County..

But my curiosity got best of me.... this plaza looked familiar.. Then I saw Fanns on side of building . I remember my friend got his first couch from Fanns Furniture back in 1990. Funny thing couch never made it to his new apartment he moved into... he had it in back of his pickup.. and on way back to Croton. We got stuck in a tremendous thunderstorm.. cover blew off the couch.. and by the time we got to his apartment his couch was ruined... Fanns refused to take it back.... so we just thru the couch in the Dumpster at his apartment..

“I went to brunch here today and loved it . The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I loved the friendly atmosphere too . I had to get a few blueberry scones and white chocolate scones for later . I highly recommend this lovely place.“

“First thing I noticed was the beautiful engraved door. Very friendly atmosphere. We were offered drinks while waiting to be seated for dinner. I had a coconut margarita which was amazing! I normally don’t drink margaritas. The guacamole was so fresh! Delicious! My husband and daughter loved the calamari! My husband got the Casa Villa Seafood, he was in heaven! “I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. If they told me to go only I would have been fine. But the way I was handled made me angry. I ate quickly and left. If I choose to get something again , it will be to go. Honestly, Caitlyn is the best server there. She is five stars. The others are not worth a dime.“

I chose Stone Soup, a small street-front food store in Kingston near my location. This business has been in the area for more than 17 years, offering catering services and serving the local community breakfast, lunch, and dinner with healthy and delicious food. Gwenn Sorensen, the owner, and her team deliver magnificent service to our community. She is a very special person, soft, well-spirited, and highly knowledgeable about food. She comes from an Austrian European background, has a refined palate, and provides excellent recommendations to her clients. The chef, Steve, her husband, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of New York.
I was awe-stricken by the quality and presentation of the food, as well as the excellent service her team delivered. Most of my guests asked who prepared the food, and, obviously, I passed along her information.
I knew, from the first time I met Gwenn — before I even considered hiring her as my caterer — that I would be in good hands because of her professionalism, excellent customer service, pleasant personality, and the food she and her husband cook for the daily customers.
