Maria, our server, was absolutely AWESOME —she picked the perfect beer flight for me, and everything she suggested was spot on. The Reuben burger was absolutely delicious, and I can't stop thinking about the peach and basil beer—it was such a unique and refreshing flavor. The hostess also gave us great recommendations for things to do while we’re in town. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!”

I added a 1/2 tray of eggplant rollatini and also tortellini primavera and this easily fed 30 people (with leftovers!) My co-workers were raving about the food and I easily said it was all from Mel's. This special catering combo is the perfect mix for any party!!! (I will also add I ordered on Monday morning and picked up Tuesday evening! Quick service as well!!!) 👏”

“This little Italian restaurant was a delightful surprise. We went there because it had favorable reviews. We found out that it is under new ownership as of approximately 9 months ago, late in 2024. Carlos, one of the co-owners, greeted us, cooked our food, and checked to see that everything was all right several times. He is clearly very interested in pleasing his customers.
My husband is Italian and gives the quality of the food and the expertise of its preparation high marks. We ordered two appetizers, Caesar salad and bruschetta. The Caesar salad was delicious and big enough to share. The bruschetta had wonderful flavors, was delightfully presented on a board and the thing I like the best was that the toast was not too hard to bite into.
Finally, for our meals I had a chicken parmesan sandwich which was a reasonably large portion, and my husband had lasagna. We both enjoyed every bit.
The food is prepared while you wait, so it is not fast food at all. He makes everything from scratch.
If you go in in, prepare to relax, enjoy your food and give Carlos greetings from us!
Ps. We are not related and we live in Florida, so we won't be able to go back right away. But we were visiting the area and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.”

“The food is actually amazing! Each dish tastes different than what you would expect but in a very good and unique way!! Their pumpkin soup 🎃 is literally so good (a must try) and their Jeyuk Bokkeum (Spicy pork stir fry) is soooo good 🥩. The spicy fried chicken is very very delicious too 🍗.

For dessert, the cream🍦 that comes with the Bungeoppang or Twisted Doughnut 🍩 is literally the BEST. MUST TRY.

The pizza was so flavorful, fresh with perfect crust n that’s coming from someone whose family owned pizzeria for years. Another must have is the house made penelle which aside from my nonna making it I’ve never had in any restaurant. Last but not least the cannoli were some of the best I’ve had in months. I’ve tried the pineapple upside down cake so far and it was baked to perfection. It was sweet but not too sweet. It was nice and succulent , which is a must, no one wants a dry cake right? Not only was the coffee fresh and hot, but the egg sandwich (of which I am a connoisseur) was the best I have ever had-- a soft bun, a generous portion of buttery, scrambled egg, and just enough mayonnaise to give it a litte flair. “Used to go here when it was Debra T’s Cafe! I raised all 3 kids there! It was SO Good SO adorable SO clean! Was devastated when Debra T’s closed! Then it opened as Maple cafe and they quickly dismantled the adorable decorations that Debra T’s had up 😣 In my opinion they destroyed it took the booths out and took all the adorable cute things down. It was dirty and we never went back SO sad! Then driving by yesterday and wala it was a new name!!!! Omg YAY We walked in and it was CLEAN which is SO incredibly important!! And so cute! Billy and his team were a well-oiled machine working there. They knew the venue in and out. They also knew what to recommend for us for the venue. The day of the wedding, Spice Catering ensured that we ate and that we always had drinks if we wanted them. They were flexible with us in determining if we keep the ceremony/cocktail hour inside/outside due to the weather forecast. They also had plenty of staff to greet guests as they entered and to serve our guests. Erick, our maître d', helped our day of coordinator set everything up, take everything down, and ensure the timeline was followed smoothly. Erick was amazing to work with and took the time to get to know my husband and I to best support us on our wedding day. The layers were crisp and flaky, crowned with black and white sesame seeds and fresh green scallions. The flavor was rich yet balanced: savory, slightly spicy, with a faint sweetness at the end. Paired with a smooth latte, it felt like the kind of breakfast that turns an ordinary day into a quiet celebration.
