“Super nice and old fashion service! The way life use to be where you felt served and treated nice! I had eggplant Parmesan For lunch. Yum! My friend had a chicken sandwich. Both were good size portions. If I was not traveling, I would have taken leftovers.The Restroom was clean, staff very attentive, atmosphere elegant. 🫶🏽

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“Juan at Cotto at the LGA terminal C location was very attentive while visiting the terminal on our way back home from our NYC visit. It’s the airport so it’s a little more than if you got it somewhere else but I was very happy with the meatball Parmesan and the wedge salad my wife and I got as well as the Long Island iced tea. It’s New York and is not Burger King and you get what you pay for. They were all very good here. Juan was able to happily accommodate getting a little side of extra marinara sauce for my wife’s sandwich. Was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend. Enjoyed our visit.“

“Compared to other restaurants, it's twice as expensive but you get half the portion size—meaning you only get a quarter of the food for the same amount of money. The value for money is terrible. If they kept the prices the same but doubled the portions, it would be absolutely perfect.“

“We had another wonderful experience at Capital Grille. From the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by the manager Rick, who escorted us to our table. He assigned an attentive waiter (Turon) who took great care of us throughout the meal. Another manager, Amy, also checked on us, was very warm and friendly, and we had a great conversation with her. All the food was delicious and we appreciated the chef making something we liked that isn't on the menu. He generously treated us with a yummy amuse-bouche. Overall we had another outstanding visit. “Tried this place recently and honestly really enjoyed it. The skewers were the best part of the meal for sure. Both the chicken and lamb were super flavorful, tender, and cooked really well. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the seasoning was spot on. We kept ordering more because they were so good.

I also liked how the ordering worked. Every table has an iPad, so you just place your order there and it goes straight to the kitchen. It made everything really easy and convenient, especially when we wanted to add more food without trying to flag someone down. The food came out pretty quickly too.

The other dishes we tried were also solid and paired well with the skewers. One small thing I thought was clever was the bucket they give you to throw away the used skewers. It keeps the table clean and somehow just makes the whole experience feel more organized.

Prices were pretty reasonable considering the quality and amount of food. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the whole time. Definitely would recommend this spot if you’re craving good skewers and a fun casual meal.“
