“Party of 3 ordered food via DoorDash on a Saturday evening in October. Food arrived in very nice green containers within 30 minutes - we were just a quarter mile away. Two of us shared the beef munchite tripes appetizer and that was really good. Third guy had the flavorful mustard greens and that was done really well too - I enjoyed little bites of it. I had the juicy lamb and it was okayish - too juicy in my opinion, which made the noodles all soggy and the lamb slices were too thin and too few. One person had the spicy chicken and really liked it.“

“The store's handmade ramen is the most famous. Its beef noodles are very good and is everyone's first choice. The peanut butter spicy oil noodles are also very tasty and are our second choice. The scallion pancakes are also fried very crispy. Their soy sauce is Sweet soy sauce. General Tso's chicken is a favorite choice for children. The food is served quickly and the service is good at a reasonable price. Will come back again.“

I ordered the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup ($13). The soup came with a huge variety of toppings, including beef, fish cakes, egg, veggies, and other things. The beef itself was tender and cooked well and the other toppings added to the overall tastiness of the soup. The soup itself was good, but a bit too spicy to drink a lot on its own. This place is located in New World Mall food court and cash only, so prepare in advance before coming. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want a quick meal in the Flushing food court.“

Good for take out. Tom yom soup (not too spicy) and spring rolls. Soup has a lot of those little mushrooms. Pineapple rice has big pieces of shrimp.“

“This place was delicious. The noodles were the perfect amount of chewy. The flavors were perfect. The dumblings we're so flavorful you didn't need dipping sauce. We got noodles in chili sauce and beef brisket noodles. Both were delicious, the meat was so tender in the beef brisket. I did wish the noodles in chili oil was a little spicer. But maybe I look to white for the full spice version, 🤣. The person who runs the place and takes your order is so kind. She was able to negotiate us a place to sit. It was busy when we got there, only a few tables in total. Service was quick, and this place is busy. Totally worth it. This place is definitely a gem and I am sure we will be back.“

“This is my go to place, food is excellent, I tried multiple things on the menu and they're all great. I mostly do take out. I would love to eat in but this place is like a hole in the wall small. Place itself is very clean, cute and cozy, it just that it is really small so there are like maybe 3 tables, so you would have to be lucky to walk in when it's slow so you can get a table.“

“Flight got cancelled last night and I was in need of Asian food. I had the ramen. The soup was comforting. The bamboo shoots were delicious. The noodles were a little undercooked to my liking, and the eggs were not marinated but well cooked. The seating area was comfortable and bright. Service was good.“

“A must try place in the new world mall food court. I’m surprised it isn’t talk about much. Their udons were nice and chewy and the broth was delicious. I got the udon with the beef and tomato and it wasn’t spicy. The tomatoes were surprisingly sweet and juicy I’m definitely going back here next time“

“Been here twice now and I'm kicking myself for not having come to this spot earlier during my time living in Jamaica, NY. Both times they have been awesome. No frills, no pizazz.... For this place, you probably will not eat at the restaurant. Not really a sit-down place although they have some tables and chairs. Who cares. The dumpling are ABSOLUTELY amazing and fresh. Homemade! My favorite dumplings are the basil chicken dumplings. My wife really likes the shrimp dumplings (both fried). We had the sesame pancakes with beef and they are just heaven. Very good all around.

Order for pickup as it will take a bit since they make them on the spot. I will be including photos my next trip since I've been unable to avoid tearing into my food before taking photos.“

We tried the signature and smokey beef belly pho. Both so good and the smokey beef belly was refreshing. The shrimp summer rolls were also delicious with the peanut sauce. “Xi'an Famous Foods is a popular chain of Chinese quick service food, serving up hand pulled noodles and a variety of spicy dishes.

The service was efficient and fast, with multiple self ordering kiosks available. There was many customizations available for the meals, as you are able to customize the spice level and any additional toppings.

We got a variety of dishes, but tried the pork hand pulled noodles and the lamb hand pulled noodles. Compared to other locations, this one sort of fell flat, but that could be because we lowered the spice level and had less oil. The noodles were nice and bouncy, with the chewy texture, but did feel a bit dry. There wasn't much flavor beyond the spice, and the pork was also a bit dry as well. The portion and price were good, however we'd have to try other things on the menu to see how the flavor is.“

If it's your first time, get the Pork "Zha Zhang" Hand Pulled Noodles - Regular/Mildly Spicy
(If you don't like spicy, please learn to like spicy then come back and eat here, since "not-spicy = not as good", the CEO of XFF agrees with me, and even says this on the loud speaker in a pre-recorded message occasionally at the store between songs)

The Lamb Burger is great too (It's not a burger, just a very nicely spiced lamb sandwich, with slices of marinaded lamb)
Pro-Tip: Ask for them to chop the lamb into small pieces before they fill the sandwich, (they normally do this with the pork burger automatically, so it's not a strange request) you can also ask them to cut it in half... either way, this prevents you from pulling out an unwanted majority of the protein in one bite.

I buy their Chili Oil by the larger container, it's extremely good and made of 20+ ingredients, it's why their spicy dishes are so much better then their non-spicy dishes... especially in the winter.

“Open 24/7 and the food isn't bad for you. They have noodles and fried rice and cold appetizers. I love going there when everywhere else is closed or I am unsure if they're open. This place whether in flavor, price or time never fails me. I love ordering their spicy noodles. Their fried rice is alright but my favorite is the noodles still. My favorite app is the one with fish, its cold and savory and appetizing. Never crowded. Never wait in line before. Sometimes it's short staffed. They speak English enough for you to order and speak back to about your order. Never too hot or too cold in there. Sometimes it could be a little noisy in there but the booths help. I've only gone at night though. Can't say for how it is when the sun is still out. The staff are the sam every night I've gone.“

“I saw an ad for Tada Noodles near my apartment and was intrigued, so I tried it for dinner. The timing of the ad was perfect - I saw it on the first day of the virus lockdown when takeout/delivery became the only option. Great timing with the ad! There’s only one item on the menu - jjajangmyeon - and it’s delicious. Incredibly quick and friendly service too. Highly recommend!!!“

“This is my newest favorite in the wonton restaurant in New York. It is a tiny place, but the free tea is hot. I had the "trio" wonton with noodles, with additional vegetables, which are tender baby yuchoy. The trio wonton were all very good, but I can't say I could distinguish among the three types. All had crunchy shrimp, one said had watercress, although I couldn't figure which. The added vegetables, for an extra $2, was well worth it. The vegetable portion was large enough to merit a second bowl. It was a bargain at $12.50. I liked it so much that I ordered the same a few days later. The 3rd time I visited, I ordered wonton with stewed beef and with added vegetable. Again, it was very good, but the vegetable portion was significantly reduced, but the beef portion was large (very large for someone who rarely eats meat). I ordered this dish twice also.“

“I had Ramen here I can't recall the name of it it was the 1st 1 on the menu I had the one with the pork belly. When I say phenomenal, I mean it! The taste was amazing in this soup Just wish the noodles weren't so tangled made it a little hard to eat. Very quite relaxing location. The roast goose was perfectly crispy with juicy meat, the soy sauce chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the beef brisket hotpot was rich and comforting. “Super affordable and great value — generous portions and the food tastes really good. The hui mian (braised noodle soup) is delicious on its own, and the Da Pan Ji with hui mian combo is especially flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the crispy pork bowl (Su Rou Kou Wan) and Dao Kou roast chicken, and both were solid. The only small downside was that the Dao Kou chicken was a bit on the cool side when it came out — it would be perfect if served hotter. Overall highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back.“

It is my favorite dish and I LOVE it.I wasn’t sure if this restaurant would be open on 2/9/24 because of the new year, but I saw on Google that they were. I was beyond excited. I was looking forward to having these noodles for my own little new years celebration at home and I couldn’t wait. On the evening of 2/9, I tried to call to order take-out but the phone kept going to voicemail. I assumed they were so busy with new year’s business they couldn’t get to the phones. No worries, I went by in person only to find the place CLOSED. I completely understand closing so the owner/workers can celebrate the new year with their families but PLEASE UPDATE ONLINE SO CUSTOMERS ARE NOT PLANNING AND LOOKING FORWARD TO HAVING OUR OWN LITTLE CELEBRATION WITH YOUR FOOD, only to have our hopes and dreams DASHED. “My family have been regulars for > 8 years. Its authetic Hunan flavors with enough variety for vegetarias and vegans too. Thankfully they are able to tone down the spiciness to the right amount when requested. We have many favorite dishes such as grileed fish with black bean sauce, sizzling beef steak, cumin beef, sauteed eggplant, triple bamboo, cucumber with scallion sauce, tomatoes and eggs, steam dumplings etc. I read some of the negative reviews and i have never experienced any of that. My parents and I come here almost every sunday for the past several months. Food is consistently good, prices are average or better then some of the other restaurants in Flushing. The wait staff are very attentive and nice. The owner always greets us warmly when he sees us. Give it a try !“
