“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. Their Dutch baby “Primadonna” pancake and lobster roll are to die for. Much of what is on the menu it’s imported from Italy of the finest ingredients. It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. They can accommodate large groups, children, pets, wheelchairs, (you name it) at their outdoor seating. Run there. 😊💕“

“Super high quality and so grateful it's in the LIC neighborhood! DEFINITELY recommended. The experience is intimate, with seating for about 10-12 in front of the chefs, but with tables in the back as well for a la carte dining. We were seated next to friendly folks so instantly had a fun connection during dinner and the staff was extremely attentive and professional throughout. The seafood was unbelievably fresh and delicious. My personal favorites were the O'Toro and the King Salmon but the Nigiri was up there as were all the tuna options. In short - all SO GOOD. Topped off with dessert, our 15 and 18 course omakase experience at Kaiyo was well worth it and had us content and happy.“

The vibe and decor were every selfies dream. Marco Antonio was very attentive and helpful with questions and recommendations. I ordered the Colombian Burger and fries with a Sangria and my bestie ordered the Rellena Arepa with Tamarindo Margarita, we also had the Guacamole and Tostones as an app, everything was absolutely delicious!! It’s the perfect place to grab my morning coffee before getting on the train and I consistently get pastries and sweet treats for birthdays, holidays, or for myself. The chef has perfected her art, as everything is always well balanced, not overly sweet, and incredibly flavorful and light. My favorite type of pastry is one with buttercream and it’s been proven difficult to find buttercream pastries in general, but also delicately well made.
