“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. I’ll start out with the drinks… absolutely amazing. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to whiskey and whiskey cocktails so I was skeptical when I saw the Nonino Essence (Bourbon, rye, amaro nonino, cinnamon, orange, angostura) as it was a combo of rye and bourbon… the drink was insanely good. Perfect balance of sweetness from the bourbon and spices from the rye, angostura and cinnamon.

The pizza selection was spot on. We ordered several of the pies and all were amazing. My personal favorite was the Piccante (the hot honey is a hitter!)

Not only were the food and drinks great but the staff was just as great! Super attentive and an absolute pleasure.

There’s a piece of me that wanted to gate keep this spot because I know it’s going to be tough to be able to get a seat there soon but I have to give them props on checking all the boxes needed to make a great night out successful.“

“First time ever in New York, had a 3 hour layover at Laguardia. Of course I wanted pizza. Lived up to NY's fine reputation of superior pizza. I got the classic, pan and two gigantic garlic rolls. The pizza sauce and dipping sauce for the rolls was some of the best sauce I ever had. Sweet with some twang but not in your face. Thank you for helping with my first NY experience.“

“The second location is truth, and the quality is the same. You should definitely spend some money with this spot. Doesn't matter which location you go to, the food is amazing. The customer service is a 10 out of 10. I came in at 9 pm and received the same beautiful service as if it was opening time.

“Boo hoo over the closing of another pizza place on Austin Street, but Austim Street Pizza ? is far better. I have tried many selections, never disappointed. I only regret that this place didn't open sooner. For those who love a great slice or two, enjoy yourself. Many neighbors in my building are regular patrons. Everyone is pleased. Even reheated the next day, if there IS anything left over, it's even tastier.

“A great neighborhood pizzeria. The food quality is generally superb but not without inconsistency. I almost feel like there are two shifts in the premise; say, Team A and Team B. When Team A is on duty, the pizza tastes excellent, whereas Team B bakes salty and bland pizza. I think they need to hash out why that is.“

“We loved going there with my family. I loved the white pizza! The ricotta gives it an extra delicious flavor. Mr. Nick was also awesome! Always gave us a little extra things in our orders plus he delivered pizza that I was taking back home after hours. He didn’t have to but knew I really wanted to take some so he came to the rescue.
