I’ll start out with the drinks… absolutely amazing. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to whiskey and whiskey cocktails so I was skeptical when I saw the Nonino Essence (Bourbon, rye, amaro nonino, cinnamon, orange, angostura) as it was a combo of rye and bourbon… the drink was insanely good. Perfect balance of sweetness from the bourbon and spices from the rye, angostura and cinnamon.

The pizza selection was spot on. We ordered several of the pies and all were amazing. My personal favorite was the Piccante (the hot honey is a hitter!)

Not only were the food and drinks great but the staff was just as great! Super attentive and an absolute pleasure.

There’s a piece of me that wanted to gate keep this spot because I know it’s going to be tough to be able to get a seat there soon but I have to give them props on checking all the boxes needed to make a great night out successful.“

“First time ever in New York, had a 3 hour layover at Laguardia. Of course I wanted pizza. Lived up to NY's fine reputation of superior pizza. I got the classic, pan and two gigantic garlic rolls. The pizza sauce and dipping sauce for the rolls was some of the best sauce I ever had. Sweet with some twang but not in your face. Thank you for helping with my first NY experience.“

Reminds me of old school pizza I had as a teen...nothing fancy...just deliciousI ordered a slice of broccoli with sausage and a slice of broccoli with mushrooms to go, These were just as delicious as the regular slice.Service is great, very friendly. “Rated them on grubhub, and making sure I rate them here. Esca’s is hands down the best pizzeria in the area (including Howard Beach). Every time we’ve ordered from them we’re impressed. Usually we get a mushroom/pepperoni pizza and their outrageously delicious chicken parm garlic knot, both of which are always awesome. Today I tried a La Norma pizza and am once again impressed. Awesome work all around from the chefs to the delivery guys. They always cook good food and always deliver with a smile. I agree and honestly I can see the appeal. The pizza is definitely isn't the best in Queens but it's pretty decent and its very affordable. My buds shared a whole pie(plus some garlic breadsticks) and we spent around 25 dollars in total. Plus drinks are free if you are a student so that's a plus. If you are walking around the fresh meadows area, I'd give this place a try. Especially if you aren't alone.“
