“The food was so delicious (that salad and fish in lettuce wraps were my favorite) and also beautiful. Loved the ambiance and the cocktails too! Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.“

“After eating so much (pizza etc )we needed to eat something different, spicy and booked this gem,as it as near to our hotel. It was also our 40th wedding anniversary. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay, try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. Thanks for the rendition “ congratulations “ for our 40th. You are great ! A little gem of authenticity in big New York !“

“INCREDIBLE Indian food experience in New York! I ordered the Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. It was incredible! The server was very sweet and warned that while the Mango Lassi cocktail was delicious it was very sweet, she suggested a Mango Majito instead, which was absolutely DELICIOUS and not overly sweet at all.
The owner Syed came over and introduced himself, he personally thanked me for coming to his restaurant and offered me a free dessert, which was delicious as well.
Absolutely cannot recommend Cloves enough! I am very excited to bring my Indian food loving family in to enjoy!“

“We enjoyed a pleasant lunch at Spice Symphony.
We are originally from Mumbai and this place took us back to our roots. The ambience, hospitality and taste were a 5/5.
The servers were attentive and prompt to respond.
We were a noisy bunch seated there because it was a family reunion, but the staff were still kind and accommodating. They made sure we felt at home and the rest of the restaurant guests were not inconvenienced by us.
My personal favourite is the Dahi Kebab, Palak paneer and Rasmalai.
I tasted the Chinese food from one of my cousin’s choices and relished the Hakka Noodles.
Thank you for a memorable experience at Times Square!“

“Delicious and inventive food. Everything had a great blend of flavors and textures, where all the ingredients remained distinct and the composition was better than the parts. The crispy lacha paratha was one of the best I've had. The morels korma was excellent. I'll be back to try more.
The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and the food was well paced, I never felt under pressure to leave.“

“I had such a wonderful dining experience here recently. Everything we ordered arrived fresh and full of flavor. The steam rising off the hot skillet was a perfect welcome to the meal, and the lemon slice on top was a nice touch.
The rice and naan were both excellent accompaniments to the main dishes. I especially enjoyed the vibrant green peas in the curry and the beautiful texture of the topped appetizers. It is a fantastic spot to grab a great meal on Grand Street.“

Treat yourself to this atmospheric speakeasy space that also has magnificent food.
Sit in the red velvet booths, enjoying fresh Naan and spectacular paneer.
The drinks are lovely and so special.
The flavors and atmosphere will add to your own story.
Want something extra divine?
Go during lunch. At one point, we had private dining.
Oh what a story!“

“We’ve been a few times, Masalawala and Sons is a really good Indian restaurant. They have a lot of great dishes executed well, the butter chicken, saag paneer, and chennar dalna were all very tasty. Their bread selection is outstanding. Also, they do really nice cocktails. Everything we ate from the menu was great. My problems with Masalawala are two things. It suffers from this restaurant groups approach to customer service. We ordered, the food started coming out well before our drinks, just after we finally received our drinks, everything we ordered was on the within minutes. Then the waiter disappears. No offer of a cocktail or beer refill until we’re nearly done eating. This is not a place to enjoy a long meal or relaxed conversation. It felt like we were in a timer and they wanted us out as quickly as possible. And the restaurant is smallish with close set tables, and does a lot of delivery. If you are sitting up front, you’re likely to spend most of your meal with a delivery person standing right over your table, they are in and out constantly and makes the space feel hectic and a little stressful. Overall, I think Masalawala and Sons is a place we might order delivery since the food is quite good. But we might head elsewhere for a more relaxed, customer focused dining experience.“

“I had the most amazing experience at Passarine! It’s a must-go. The modern take on Indian is incredibly creative and everything we had was outstanding. Decor is beautiful- from wallpaper to dishes-every detail feels very thoughtfully designed. The private room is especially stunning… and spacious yet very intimate! Standouts were the shrimp koliwada, crispy cauliflower, aloo dumplings and the chicken saagwala…all delicious. And you MUST save room for the Passarine Ice Cream sandwich! The service was terrific too. All around it was a fantastic experience and I can’t wait to go back!“

“This is an incredible restaurant with amazing food, great service and welcoming ambiance. I had heard about it from my son and niece who live in NYC but I made it a point to go there while visiting from Chicago. I was so impressed during my first visit (by myself) that I went back within a month with my son and niece! Almost everything I had were incredible. The SPDP, wada pav, rava fry were to die for and same with the Ghaati (or gavraan?) chicken was very tasty as well. The two minor things to note are - the Paav (bread) I ordered the first time was okay (too dry or stale) but second time I had chapati and it was great. Secondly the Ghati chicken has some pieces that not everyone will enjoy or like the consistency of - it’s either the liver or the brain and my son wasn’t fond of it. Lastly it’s a cosy restaurant so you also get to strike up a conversation with Soham (chef) or his wife Aarti - especially around closing time. Can’t wait to go there again! Keep up the great work.“

“It’s usually pretty quiet here when I tend to go for lunch. The service has always been great and attentive. The portions are big I can rarely finish what I order. The best part is the pricing - I typically order a main with rice & naan and a couple glasses of wine and I always feel like I’m getting a deal. Definitely recommend!“

“Finally visited Bungalow today after almost a year in waiting. It was one of the best dining experiences , we ever had. The food and the drinks along with their service was amazing. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and Vikas Khanna himself brought their complimentary signature orange mousse, which was more than delicious. Seeing him interact with every single guest in the restaurant was so heart warming. A really humble and friendly person. Wishing him and his team all the very best.“

“I had the Giant TIKKA MASALA CHICKEN CHEESESTEAK and it was absolutely delicious! Every bite had a great combination of flavors that blended perfectly together. It had just the right amount of spice—flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. When I tell you it's fire meaning it tastes amazing trust me you won't regret it!
I also want to recognize Ankit for the outstanding customer service. He was very patient while taking my order over the phone, answered all of my questions, and made the entire experience pleasant. He was genuinely kind, caring, and professional. Great food paired with excellent customer service is what keeps customers coming back. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be ordering again!“

“Got the butter chicken, dal makhani, and tandori chicken. The tandori chicken was very good. The butter chicken was also good but the chicken was a bit overcooked and tough. The dal was pretty good but not my favorite. The masala chai was ok a bit watery for me“

“Tandoor is back! After a period of inconsistency with their chicken tikka masala, we took a break for a while, but we ordered again today. It was better than ever - the chicken was tender and the sauce was perfectly flavored - and the garlic naan was fresh!
I’ve tried chicken tikka in several other places (looking for the same flavor), and I haven’t found one better! Please don’t change the recipe!!! We look forward to ordering again soon! Thank you!“
