“Brought home a takeout order of Chicken Parmesan w / Thin spaghettiinitial reaction was a lil pricey but once I got home and dug into it all was good. The salad it came w was fresh and delicious.The Chicken Parmesan was fantastic some of the best I ever had , and the angel hair pasta was top notch I'm so glad I finally stopped in on my way home and wanted something substantial.Michelangelo's did not disappoint.“

“It was my first time & Jerry and the Mermaid & my server was named Lynn. She was a very sweet woman who made my experience even more enjoyable. The oysters were very fresh & briney the way that I like them & me & my friend were seated fairly quickly. The espresso martinis were soooo good, definitely recommend that if you’re into those. I would definitely come back here if I’m ever in the area & in the mood for some good seafood!“

“Went for lunch while in the area and was pleasantly surprised. I did a quick search for gluten free and found this place. My mother has Celiac and was over the moon that she could have anything on the menu! My shakshuka was good, she loved her chicken sandwich. But the star of lunch was the fried calamari. The place is cute and intimate, good music playing. We'll be back next time we're near.“

“My wife and I have been here twice and both times have been a very enjoyable experience. The food was excellent, service attentive, and it’s a wonderful intimate atmosphere. The bourbon list is outstanding if you’re a bourbon fan. The whole experience is worth a night out.“

“Nice spot right on the water with a varied menu. We loved the raw oysters and the meat and cheese platter. The duck wings were a bit on the tough side but the sauce is a winner. The blackberry margarita sounded great on paper, but in the mouth it wasn't the best combo. They had a band playing in the bar on a Saturday night. “Went with family who raved about this place. It was old school with great service, the owner made me a Moscow mule after I stumped the server! Everyone else ordered prime rib and enjoyed it, my fried chicken was lukewarm and not crispy. Shared a butter cake dessert which was pretty good. Stepping inside felt like stumbling upon a cozy dive-bar-meets-elegant-dining gem, with a charmingly "homey feel" that immediately puts you at ease. You could tell it is a spot that mostly only locals frequent. They gave us the nod to choose our own seat and we instantly felt at home. The waitress who greeted us was as friendly as she was eager to take our drink orders. I opted for the marinated steak over salad, while my husband ordered the marinated porterhouse. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, expertly cooked to perfection. Overall, it's exactly what they said it would be: cozy, with loads of character, and the servers are pretty friendly too. Next time you're feeling like a carnivore, make sure you visit the elbow room in Jamesport. I hear they have another location, but I was told this is the best one. The verdict? “This restaurant is right at the marina, 15 to 20 minutes from my home, and I never heard of it until a friend suggested checking it out. Needless to say, the food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was great. There was live band playing and singing. We didn't have to wait very long for our appetizers and food. The pricing was good. The host was friendly, and it is just a very cool hang out spot for friends and family and even just hanging out by yourself.“

Prices were great considering the location.I ordered the clam chowder and a quahog - both hit the mark. The chowder was rich and perfectly New England style; the stuffed quahog was classic Cape Cod style - toasty on top but soft on the inside.“
