“Ordered fried wings and pork fried rice. Wings are average size. Was kinda over fried but not too much. Pork fried rice is balanced with onion, pork meat, salt and not greasy. Also ordered French fries and fried baby shrimps. They came out over fried but are ok. Fries more on a greasy side a bit soggy. It was really quick, fast service. This is typical NYC style Chinese in the hood.“

“Really shockingly good Sichuan food. The mala flavor was really delightful, it was really pleasantly numbing and incredibly flavorful. We got the dry pot baby rib and kung pao chicken lunch specials and both were quite excellent. The kung pao chicken really stood out to me as being particularly flavorful and nicely spiced. The interior of the resturant was also gorgeous and not too busy during lunch hours.“

“We were looking for authentic, delicious, and fairly priced platters for our Chinese New Year celebration and found A-Pou. A-Pou not only helped us put together the menu, but she included extra special goodies like sesame balls / egg rolls / fortune cookies. Even though Sunday was her day off, she still prepared and delivered the platters to our apartment which was so appreciated. All of our guests RAVED about the food (especially the potstickers, basil chicken, and lo mein).

A-Pou was also amazing to work with from beginning to end - she’s just the sweetest lady. Highly encourage paying her restaurant a visit and calling her if you have catering needs!“

“I really like this spot. The man with the glasses in the front is always super friendly. The food is the best Chinese in the area. I go out my way to come here. I like the coconut shrimp a lot. I get the three piece chicken, white rice and broccoli. Also I really enjoy the sweet and sour chicken and fried old bay shrimp. I really don’t think you can go wrong here. “I love Xi’an Famous Foods and every time I visit NYC I make a point of eating at one of their locations. Extra Spicy is perfect to my West Indies heat tolerance. This one is located pretty well and hard to miss. The dine in area fills up quick, so you might have to go outside and find a bench or something to eat. There’s a restroom for customers.“

The chicken wings were crispy and packed with flavor, the lo mein and fried rice were so fresh and satisfying, and the chicken eggrolls were perfectly crunchy. The beef broccoli in garlic sauce was definitely a standout — super tender and full of bold taste. They also have bubble tea, which was just okay, but the food made up for it. “Located inside Kings Plaza on the second floor, this is a good spot for some relatively inexpensive and okay chinese food/takeout. They have a self-service buffet in a overload-your-plate-one-time style. We ordered the kungpao chicken with rice, and stir fried noodles with a can of coke to share. They did not have diet coke, only regular. Portions were big for our appetites, we ended up bringing ⅔rds of the noodles back home with us.“

“(got it through uber eats) The general tsos chicken was good! Not overly drenched in sauce or super sweet or weird tasting chicken, seemed fresh and had a good taste. The cheese wontons however… i do not recommend at all. Both the filling AND the sauce were wayyy too sweet- making it not enjoyable. They should definitely change the sauce to make it more savory and spicy bc it wasn’t even sweet chili, just straight up SWEET. 😬 Anywho but the main dish which was the chicken was great!“
