Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. So thankful to have them at the neighborhood, the service is excellent and Yesenia and her employees super professionals. The ambiance and decoration soo relaxing- I love the food and the service, how they welcome you, is hard to find a place like that. “Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“

“I had an unforgettable experience at MyMoon! I took my friend to celebrate her birthday, and from start to finish, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel celebrated — they truly made the night special. The drinks were amazing — the Strawberry MyMoon and Lavender Sour were both perfectly crafted and delicious. The food was full of authentic Spanish flavors and beautifully presented. “In a city of delicious pizza, this pizza is DELICIOUS. Shared some apps and pies, cleaned our plates. Only regret not leaving room for dessert. Had a res for around 6 on a Saturday, they’re definitely popping around that time. Good atmosphere, not too loud, friendly service.“

“Went to TORA NYC recently and decided to order takeout, but even from that short experience the hospitality stood out. While we were waiting, they offered us water and were really welcoming, which already left a good impression. The space itself looks beautiful modern, intimate, and definitely feels like the kind of place that would make a really nice date spot.

We ordered three dishes: the Yokan Roll, Negichutoro Don, and Gyudon.

The Yokan Roll was a really nice example of how modern sushi rolls balance texture and richness. Inside was spicy salmon and cucumber, and it was topped with lightly seared salmon, mentaiko sauce, tempura flakes, and tobiko. The seared salmon added a gentle smokiness while still keeping that soft buttery texture salmon naturally has. The mentaiko sauce, made from seasoned pollock roe that’s widely used in Japanese cuisine, brought a creamy, briny umami flavor that paired really well with the fish. Tobiko added those signature little bursts of saltiness, and the tempura flakes gave a light crunch that balanced the richness of the sauce and salmon. It was a well constructed roll where each topping actually had a purpose.

We also got the Negichutoro Don, which had minced medium fatty bluefin tuna over rice. In sushi terminology, tuna is categorized by fat content akami being lean, chutoro the medium fatty section, and otoro the richest cut from the belly. Chutoro tends to be the sweet spot because it has enough fat to be buttery while still keeping that clean ocean flavor. The texture here was incredibly soft and almost melt-in-your-mouth. Negitoro as a dish traditionally mixes minced tuna with scallions, since the word “negi” literally means scallion. The tuna quality here was great and the texture was amazing, but I do think it could be elevated slightly. If the scallions were minced and mixed into the toro instead of sitting on top it would distribute the flavor more evenly. A little shredded nori could add some aroma from the sea, and honestly avocado would pair really nicely with the richness of the tuna.

The Gyudon was probably the most comforting dish we ordered. Gyudon has a long history in Japan and became popular in the late 19th century as a quick, affordable rice bowl. Thinly sliced beef is simmered in a sweet savory broth that’s very similar to sukiyaki sauce, usually made with soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and sometimes dashi. The beef absorbs that slightly sweet umami flavor as it cooks. Here it was served over rice with scallions, sesame seeds, and an onsen egg. Once everything was mixed together, the egg yolk coated the rice and beef and brought everything together. The sauce, beef, and egg created that rich silky texture that makes gyudon such a comforting dish.

Even though we only ordered takeout, that level of service was noticeable.

Overall the food was really good and thoughtfully prepared. The fish quality was great, the bowls were comforting, and the hospitality stood out even in a quick takeout experience. The restaurant itself looks like a really nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal, so we’ll definitely be coming back to dine in next time.“

“We got the morrocan scramble and ricotta pancakes. I enjoyed the flavors of the scramble, the spices in the sausage and chickpeas against the freshness of the cilantro. The texture of the ricotta pancakes resembled that of an uncooked pancake and they lacked flavor. And I love ricotta. The ambience was very cozy and quaint and we didn’t feel rushed to leave despite it being very busy, which was really nice. We were able to get seated at 10am on a Sunday without wait.“

I’ve been so disappointed with grocery stores for the past few years, even organic is tasteless or never reaches ripeness and with a baby, I do not have the time to go to farmers markets. I got my first order delivered today and I was so blown away by the quality and freshness of the produce. I could smell the strawberries almost from the next room, the nectarines were beautifully ripe and full of flavor. The cheese was delicious.

I can’t wait to try everything else I bought! This time was just a test order but I absolutely will be buying all of my produce and dairy from Farm to People from now on. And half of the money goes directly to the farmers?! Seriously, what’s not to love. Finally I can feed my family some REAL, good food.“

“We were looking for authentic, delicious, and fairly priced platters for our Chinese New Year celebration and found A-Pou. A-Pou not only helped us put together the menu, but she included extra special goodies like sesame balls / egg rolls / fortune cookies. Even though Sunday was her day off, she still prepared and delivered the platters to our apartment which was so appreciated. All of our guests RAVED about the food (especially the potstickers, basil chicken, and lo mein).

A-Pou was also amazing to work with from beginning to end - she’s just the sweetest lady. Highly encourage paying her restaurant a visit and calling her if you have catering needs!“

“Between the aimrt and the staff, this place is awesome. I have heard that the beer is also awesome here too(but I can't drink it). However they have more than beer and they have na too! They play all the major sports if that's your thing. You can reserve tables for parties. Beers are great, staff are great! Seriously give them all the tips. “My spouse and my favorite neighborhood restaurant. The best place to pop in for a quick date night or to bring parents to brunch on a sunny weekend. It was the obvious place for us to host our wedding this past weekend. The food (pizza, pastas, charcuterie, focaccia, and of course, oysters) were all fantastic as always. Yuki and the service staff took amazing care of us. They turned every trial into an opportunity such as graciously moving tables inside when it started to rain. “Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! The live show by this magnificent trio deserves all the accolades in the world. I have not seen any other restaurant where people got up from their tables to dance to each song. This place is perfect for birthday celebrations or any kind of milestone celebration.
