While running in the park, my friend and I someone badly injured, she stayed with the injured person, while I sprinted to try and find a first aid supplies.. I ran to Uncle Louie’s like a madman (frantic and out of breath).. they didn’t hesitate or ask questions, they immediately brought out their first aid kit and gave me everything I needed.

There aren’t a large variety of fro-yo flavors, but they have all the solid ones here, and a large array of toppings.It is a self-serve location (and they’re covid conscious), providing you with gloves and hand sanitizer to use before serving yourself. Most yogurt places around us only offer no sugar added, and are limited to one flavor if available. There also are sugar-free and gluten-free muffins. The scones are amazing. And there’s a bunch of frozen bagel options, cookies and brownies available. Plenty of toppings, for sugar-free they have chocolate chip chips and hot fudge. There’s also indoor and outdoor seating. “This has to be one of the best-named ice cream stores I have ever encountered: inviting, memorable, potent. Those adjectives apply to its ice creams, too, which come in all sorts of intriguing flavors. The consistency leans toward the icier end of the spectrum, but that is nice sometimes, refreshing. I went with fried apple pie, and I did not regret it. Intriguingly, all the ice cream was pre-scooped, which makes it easy to grab and go. I hope they expand. We need this kind of invention in more places!“

“I frequent this location often with my children because my toddler LOVES their pistachio ice cream. She convinced me to try it and it really is that good. My favorite from this store is the coffee ice cream. Hits everytime. The store is very small but always looks clean. There’s not much organization when it comes to the line so they usually just ask “who’s next”. All workers that I’ve interacted with have been pleasant. I’ve never had a negative interaction with a worker so I’d say their customer service is great.

Parking: A lot of people double park. It’s paid metered parking and spots are usually taken.“

“Amazing first time experience, the staff is very friendly and helpful when choosing what to get. They explain everything and suggest what you may like. It’s all really fresh too no powdered or anything they chop up the fruits and veggies right in front of you before they blend it. “This is, to my knowledge, the first location in the US outside of Miami for this Argentine gelateria chain. It's in a quaint little area of Williamsburg, right near Domino Park, and I presume they'll do well when the weather is warm. There was a nice person working here when I stopped by, and the space inside is nice. Along with gelato, they also sell a handful of mostly Italian pastries and a selection of coffee and teas.

They offer many samples, though presumably fewer once they get big lines. I tried a handful of flavors, and my preferences, in order, were: Dulce de leche, hazelnut, passion fruit, and pistachio. I liked them all, but the dulce de leche was particularly outstanding, with pieces of chocolate caramel inside and enough salt to tone down the sweetness. In terms of more traditional flavors, the hazelnut was better than the pistachio, though both were nice. I usually prefer pistachio, but I liked the hazelnut's roasted flavor more here, with pistachio being stronger at other gelato places, including the fancier chains Gentile, Venchi, and a few other smaller places like Pamina. The passion fruit had a good balance of sour and sweet. In general, the gelato had a very nice, creamy texture, with only a slight preference for the outstanding Rivareno in Tribeca and Gentile, but both spots offer much smaller portions at similar prices.

I eventually got a medium-sized cup, which comes with two choices for $8.50. There is also a large option with 3 flavors for $9.50, and it was a very decent portion size. The medium size was also packed, and I think they should add a small (or call it a kids' size) for a bit less. You can see the previous paragraph regarding both flavors (I got the dulce and hazelnut) and gelato textures.

I slightly prefer other places for flavor, but this place strikes the right balance between portion sizes and overall quality. Would recommend.“

“I ordered the rolled ice cream for my daughter’s birthday and we ordered the banana pudding flavor, the candy flavor and the Oreo flavored rolled ice cream. They were all very delicious. I highly recommend. You have options of toppings like cereal or chocolate chip or whipped topping etc and also for the type of syrup that you want on top .There are lots of toppings to choose from. I can’t wait to try them all?

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian type options from the plant based ice cream to the toppings eg, fruit loops, cookie crisps, dark chocolate chips etc
