Among the appetizers, the bandora showcased heirloom tomatoes at their absolute freshest, while the rakkat achieved a rare and graceful balance between sweet and savory. “Wow. Brand new, friendly, great business in a great neighborhood, Prospect Lefferts Garden. Would have been great if it was just good, but omg it is honestly the BEST ice cream I’ve had in Brooklyn. Awesome, creative new flavors every week. Yesterday’s was malted ice cream with chopped malted-milk balls. Also mint ice cream made with mint leaves. Another made with honey that also had some chili heat (forgot the name)—all amazing. Go now before you can’t get in.“

“Great ice cream with really unique flavors. Pricing is also pretty decent. The only hang up is the extremely long lines. While the wait time is annoying and would have made this rating 3-4 stars, I have noticed the lovely Spanish lady on Saturday is pretty quick and does her best to serve everyone in a timely manner. Even with it being as busy as it is she always pleasant and wears a smile.“

“This is the real deal Italian gelato. They imported an authentic gelato machine from Italy and the texture is out if this world.
Flavors are incredible and vary often. Some are more eclectic and grownup (olive oil with breadcrumbs, basil fruit sorbet), others could please kids of all ages (pistachio, coconut stracchiatella). It’s getting good word of mouth traffic right now, but none of the nonsense lines that would happen if any food critic ever decided to hype them up.

“Absolutely the best ice cream I've had in Brooklyn. So far, we've tried grape nut, guava, and Irish moss. All amazing. Are the staff going to gush over you? Maybe not, but they will give you excellent homemade ice cream at a very reasonable price and in a decent size. The guava tastes like fresh guava, and the Irish moss tastes like Christmas: so good.“

“I recently bought the Earl Grey Tea and Berry Cornbread at my local Kroger store and was blown away! The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. I’ll definitely be trying other flavors.“

“Great local frozen yogurt spot. We appreciate that there are always sugar-free flavors available. And usually a dairy free option. Most yogurt places around us only offer no sugar added, and are limited to one flavor if available. There also are sugar-free and gluten-free muffins. The scones are amazing. And there’s a bunch of frozen bagel options, cookies and brownies available. Plenty of toppings, for sugar-free they have chocolate chip chips and hot fudge. There’s also indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is friendly, fast and helpful.“

I fully knew it was a weird question, but she was very nice about it. Recommend the galactic ube flavor. “This location has been excellent since my first time arriving here I came from Georgia to visit my mother and she sent me here to get some ice cream and from the first time I met the wonderful staff at this establishment I can't stop coming back! Although I only spent six weeks in New York it was worth my time I came to this location so much in the last 6 weeks I know I must have put on at least 20 extra pounds and it's not the ice cream that I love it's the staff here Samantha is amazing she really knows customer service she really knows how to be hospitable the ice cream is good but it's the people that made it even better. The other extraordinary woman here is a woman by the name of Diana I believe it was. She works in the cinnabon area and you can see her heart and her love in the way that she treats the customers I was sitting there eating ice cream one day and I watched how she just went above and beyond making the customer feel welcomed in this establishment. They have come to know me because I come here buying ice cream for my mother all the time and they even remember and they always ask about her it's beyond just a store it's almost like coming to see friends. Make it your business to stop at this location it is very much worth it the music is always excellent here it always has a great atmosphere.
This store should be a model to all the other Carvel locations out there on how you should treat your customers please utilize the staff to train other locations it will be well worth the time all of the people that are here are leaders and teammates and I've come to really like them and love them.“

“I rarely follow any suggestion or trend I see on TikTok but I was scrolling the other night and came across an influencer review of Dolly's Ice and immediately knew I'd drive 25 minutes for it. I'm 7.5 months pregnant so my need for a sweet treat made me okay with giving up my spot.
I got a Rainbow Cookie and Black Cherry Cheesecake and my husband got Chocolate Waffle Cone (not exact title) and we were blown away. It was sweet but so creamy and natural tasting that it just blew me away. Never had anything like it - and I'm not an icey person! Its been 3 days and Im still thinking about it.
