“Super unique and delicious maple praline brown butter pancakes! More cake than pancake. The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. “I ate here on Friday (1/3) for lunch. I had the kangaroo skewers and fish sandwich and chips. The food was delicious. I never had kangaroo before. Kate, my amazing server, recommended it big time. I am so glad she did. The meat was the best thing I have ever tasted. The fish sandwich was incredible. The chips were so light and fluffy. I came back the next day (1/4) for dinner with my cousin and her Australian husband. He said the kangaroo skewers were the best he ever had in his life, even when he lived in Australia. Elina, our server that night, was awesome. We had delicious food and drinks in a fun and welcoming environment. The prices are great. Kate and Elina are amazing. I will definitely come back again and again. The prices are totally reasonable. The portions are huge. The food is impeccable. It is so nice to have a warm and friendly restaurant/bar/cafe in the area.“

Came on a Saturday night and we sat down right away. The servers were very friendly and took the time to explain each part of the Thali we got.

Food:
- veg thali (4/5) - this is definitely a good bang for your buck, given that you can ask for refills. My favorite was the pea dish.
- veg jhol mojos (4.5/5) - nice deep flavor, the momos were solid. I’d be curious to try the chili ones and the fried ones next time.
- mango lassi (5/5) - everything you want mango lassi to be.

“I get takeout from here all the time and the food is AMAZING but for some reason the plastic fork they provide always breaks while eating and I'll find myself biting into a loose prong halfway through my bowl??? The prices are very reasonable for the area ($10 or less). Cash/Venmo preferred.

Their best dishes are the braised pork, hands down. Very tender and fatty. For beef noodle, their beef is tender and the soup is flavorful, but the noodle texture can be better, it was too soggy.

The 3 cup chicken and eggplant are too sweet, in my opinion. The potsticker filling were also just alright, but i like how they pan fried it.“

The carrots are slightly sweetened and is served cold. Falafel hummus was plentiful and the falafel was great. Chicken shawarma was delicious; recommend getting a side of pita so you can make yourself a pita sandwich.“

Personally, I think it’s the best neighborhood spot. It’s an Italian-based, but a bit eclectic, menu. It has steak as a main option. It also has great cocktails and a cool vibe. Not too loud, but not precious. No dress code. Pretty laid back.“

“Those in the know won't worry to much about 5 leaves not being rated a 4.5 or higher, why you ask? Because it really doesn't matter when the ricotta pancakes are THAT FREAKING GOOD! Seriously every 3rd person orders those pancakes. They also have a great Mocha and black kale salad. If you're not in the mood for sweet fair try the moroccan scramble which is perfect for something light but filling. I got the BLAT on my first visit and it was also good. Now if you're there for dinner been warned the burger is quite filling but it will be worth it even if you gotta waddle home.“

“First time here and it was amazing!! First - the ambiance is nice. It’s very cute inside, you take your shoes off and sit on cushions on the ground. It feels very calm and relaxed. Second - the fish is really fresh and the concept is fun. It was cool to experiment with the different salts and make our own handrolls. Every piece was delicious. You also get soup, and they have good drink options as well. Third - great service! Our server checked on us multiple times. He was helpful regarding the menu. He even asked if we were celebrating something special and brought a dessert with a candle! We will definitely be back and I can’t recommend this place more.“
