“We were a group of 23 to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and John, Alex, the staff could not have been more attentive and accommodating. The beer was awesome, the appetizers delicious, the venue just gorgeous, the music and the vibe so good!! We will be back again!“

“I absolutely love this place, I vacation in rockaway for the summer and winter and this is my go to place. Such nice people that work here, and food is just phenomenal. All my buddies back at home are jealous of all the mouthwatering bagels I send them. Best bagels, tuna, and coffee around.“

“Writing this review for actually two specific items that this place makes. Two simple items. The bacon egg and cheese on a roll and the bacon lettuce and tomato on toast. I believe one of the owners is a tall Asian guy super super nice and he makes great egg sandwiches and he just makes great sandwiches. But the egg sandwich, the bacon, egg, and cheese And the BLT were fantastic. He always make sure the bacon is crisp and he gives you plenty of it. I’m a real pain in the neck when it comes to food I like things the way I like them and these two simple American classics. Well, they make them really good over here.“

“This is the best pizza I have ever had, nice crisp, light crust with just the right amount of toppings, no grease at all. I live in CT and thought no pizza was better than our New Haven ones, boy was I wrong!!! Looking forward to returning……soon!“

“Antidote was such a great spot to have dinner on my visit to NYC. The wait was not too long considering there were 7 people in my party. We had so many items off the menu and the staff was very attentive to allergies and other food preferences. The tea smocked duck was incredible, the cucumber was amazing, the wontons were delicious! Everyone loved their dish it was absolutely a great dinner. The only downside was that some of the fish dishes were made with tilapia which is not a fish preference for most of the friends I was with. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this restaurant“

“Will the food blow you away? No (besides the street corn which is fantastic). And it’s not cheap either. BUT, the vibes are unmatched. My parents used to take me here when I was a kid and there’s just no better place for a summer lunch out with family or friends.“

The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. “This is a review specifically about the Ikura don. I love ikura so was super happy to see that they have ikura don on the menu! I also got the chirashi don, which was great. But as for the ikura... why is it so sweet? The ikura is marinated in a very SWEET sauce.... that I could hardly taste the special taste of the ikura itself. I just wanted to let the management know that that marinade sauce for the ikura is WAY too sweet!! Please highlight the taste of the ikura itself. 🙏🙏🙏“

ever since then coming back here has become a tradition.
8 years on and the spot is still just as warm and welcoming, albeit way more busy which is incredible to see because the place deserves to thrive. easily my fav spot in the city (i fully blame the ricotta pancakes).
i haven’t been to nyc in years but coming back here today felt like coming home in so many ways.

“Love love love this service! I’ve been so disappointed with grocery stores for the past few years, even organic is tasteless or never reaches ripeness and with a baby, I do not have the time to go to farmers markets. I got my first order delivered today and I was so blown away by the quality and freshness of the produce. I could smell the strawberries almost from the next room, the nectarines were beautifully ripe and full of flavor. The cheese was delicious.

I can’t wait to try everything else I bought! This time was just a test order but I absolutely will be buying all of my produce and dairy from Farm to People from now on. And half of the money goes directly to the farmers?! Seriously, what’s not to love. Finally I can feed my family some REAL, good food.“

Everything i bought was amazing we went around 11:55 am it was relatively busy, when we ordered we waited around 30 minutes which isn't awful. We ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito, ube black sesame mochi, and a smores bar, + a free churro mochi. The burrito is filled with flavor especially with the green sauce, the mochi was crunchy on the outside soft on the inside, the smores bar is just like a elevated smores. Everything 10/10 we will be returning for more😋🤤“
