“Writing this review for actually two specific items that this place makes. Two simple items. The bacon egg and cheese on a roll and the bacon lettuce and tomato on toast. I believe one of the owners is a tall Asian guy super super nice and he makes great egg sandwiches and he just makes great sandwiches. But the egg sandwich, the bacon, egg, and cheese And the BLT were fantastic. He always make sure the bacon is crisp and he gives you plenty of it. I’m a real pain in the neck when it comes to food I like things the way I like them and these two simple American classics. Well, they make them really good over here.“

“Will the food blow you away? No (besides the street corn which is fantastic). And it’s not cheap either. BUT, the vibes are unmatched. My parents used to take me here when I was a kid and there’s just no better place for a summer lunch out with family or friends.“

The wait was not long to get a table and the service was prompt, professional, courteous, and didn’t leave us in want of anything. All of our needs were met. “This is a review specifically about the Ikura don. I love ikura so was super happy to see that they have ikura don on the menu! I also got the chirashi don, which was great. But as for the ikura... why is it so sweet? The ikura is marinated in a very SWEET sauce.... that I could hardly taste the special taste of the ikura itself. I just wanted to let the management know that that marinade sauce for the ikura is WAY too sweet!! Please highlight the taste of the ikura itself. 🙏🙏🙏“

ever since then coming back here has become a tradition.
8 years on and the spot is still just as warm and welcoming, albeit way more busy which is incredible to see because the place deserves to thrive. easily my fav spot in the city (i fully blame the ricotta pancakes).
i haven’t been to nyc in years but coming back here today felt like coming home in so many ways.

I’ve been so disappointed with grocery stores for the past few years, even organic is tasteless or never reaches ripeness and with a baby, I do not have the time to go to farmers markets. I got my first order delivered today and I was so blown away by the quality and freshness of the produce. I could smell the strawberries almost from the next room, the nectarines were beautifully ripe and full of flavor. The cheese was delicious.

I can’t wait to try everything else I bought! This time was just a test order but I absolutely will be buying all of my produce and dairy from Farm to People from now on. Everything i bought was amazing we went around 11:55 am it was relatively busy, when we ordered we waited around 30 minutes which isn't awful. We ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito, ube black sesame mochi, and a smores bar, + a free churro mochi. The burrito is filled with flavor especially with the green sauce, the mochi was crunchy on the outside soft on the inside, the smores bar is just like a elevated smores. “The staff here are always super friendly, no matter what time of day you stop by, which definitely adds to the experience. However, it is on the pricier side compared to other local coffee spots like Variety. I paid $18 for a bacon (Canadian ham), egg, and cheese on focaccia. It was tasty, but honestly, not quite worth the price. The space is very small and can be uncomfortable waiting for food/drinks when there is more than three people inside.“
