“After posting. about an unpleasant experience I had at the restaurant, the owner, Mike, responded very quickly and asked me to contact him. I spoke with him and discussed what happened. Mike invited me and my family back to the restaurant. Mike went above and beyond to show us how wonderful his restaurant is. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the music from "open mike night". I recommend visiting the Pine Grove to e joy the food. atmosphere and friendly staff. We are looking forward to returning, especially on the warm weather so we can sit outside on the patio.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. We had the short rib special, the sea bass and the swordfish entrees and they were delicious! We made a reservation ahead of time and because of this we were seated immediately upon arrival at a cute corner table inside of the Gold Bar section. Although it was a bit crowded at the bar thankfully the noise level wasn't too bad. Our server Robert was amazing from the beginning and made the experience that much better! The food was absolutely delicious!! We both got filets that were cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were so creamy and smooth and the five cheese Mac was my favorite for sure, it was so flavorful and luscious. I believe it was one of the managers that checked in on us mid meal and made sure everything was to our liking, which it was beyond our expectations. “Last night we (2 couples) went to Ruth Chris Steak House in Lake Grove, NY for dinner and had the best dinning experience we have had in awhile. It is now our favorite steak restaurant. The food is outstanding, compliments to the chief!! Also, I would like to comment on our waitress, Kim, who is terrific!!! She was so attentive to all our requests, took care of us all night. Also, the manager is a real gentleman, and he also made us feel comfortable and special. Without a doubt, this is the best steak restaurant on the Island, we have been to most of the upscale restaurants here and we rate this the best. “Had the pleasure of choosing Tara Inn for lunch today, every establishment can learn a lesson from the customer service that my friend and I experienced. Upon walking in we were greeted by Peter, Tara’s husband and son-in-law of the founder who named the bar for his daughter 47 years ago. We told him it was our first visit and he offered us seats and welcomed us. The regulars at the bar guided us through the menu and we each had a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles for $1 per burger expecting very small burgers we were surprised to find them standard sized and deliciously prepared to medium. My friend had the fried shrimp and I had a $13 steamed lobster! Excellent! They offer daily specials and one of the gentleman at the bar told me their steaks are very good. Every staff person went out of their way to make us feel at home. A charismatic women came out from the back and introduced herself as Tara she thanked us for choosing to lunch there. Why can’t other places realize the importance of making a first time patron feel welcome. I
Had a great afternoon enjoying the excellent variety of beers that they provide on tap. The charming decor has probably changed little since the ‘70s and that adds to the vibe. If you want to go to the friendliest bar on Long Island, head over to Tara Inn.“

“We have been coming to this restaurant for quite some time now. Oftentimes we order for delivery and the food comes to us in a timely fashion. They keep the busy small eat in order area and kitchen clean. They have many choices, so our mixed diets of regular and vegan have delicious items to choose from their menu.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetable choices, like broccoli and mixed veggies for example. There are various types of tofu dishes too.“

I recently tried them for the first time thanks to the too good to go app and I am so grateful they did! The first time I had a beef dinner and a fried chicken dinner. The way they chop the beef and add different seasonings to it is what separates them from the rest.

I'm 49 and back in the day 5th Ave in Bayshore had all the good Spanish food but after 911 they all moved to Florida causing me to go to another place in Brentwood I don't wanna say their name cause it's all about Beuno Deli right now.

When I heard the name deli and was going there for dinner for the first time I was skeptical cause of the word deli, most people dont think about a deli when they want dinner I think you guys should change your name because the food you serve and the times you operate is definitely not like a deli. You guys downgrade your business by calling it that you are a restaurant and a very good one at that.

Whoever is in charge of making the recipes and cooking the food must have a culinary arts background cause those are chef dishes and not your typical generic plates you see in every other place. In other words you're not just getting rice and beans you are getting dishes that come with brilliant recipes not only that taste good but the way its preped and served makes it top notch!

There's a reason I drive all the way from Islip to Coram and I do it with excitement cause I know whatever I'm getting I know it's gonna be the best, other places don't even come close. To be honest I can never go to my local Spanish deli cause Beuno deli opened me up to a new world of taste that I didn't even knew existed.

The first time I went there I was blown away because when you pull up, the entire front of the store is covered with their different menu items you can get anything from a entire Lobster dinner down to your typical Arroz con Pollo and they close late like around 11pm what deli do you know that operates like this?

Keep up the great work hopefully you guys can open a Buenos Deli 3 here in the Islip area you'd guys would have people lined up all the way to 5th Ave in Bayshore lol“

By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period.
