“I came here on a wednesday night with my wife after a day of travelling and our waitress Nia was very helpful. My wife had some questions about the menu and Nia was very knowledgeable. We don't eat out often and Nia helped us understand the promotions on the menu. The drinks were strong and did not taste watered down. Overall I am very happy with this experience. This was a very filling and cost effective date.“

“Seating and food was great! They did give me my meat medium well which I asked for just medium, the cook did redo it for me and was very nice and professional about it. The only bad thing about it was the atmosphere which was a bit hot, especially when seated on leather seats and our server Jessie had bit of an attitude. I understand that being a server is tough but at least don’t take out your frustration on customers or have a bad face when serving. Didn’t feel comfortable asking for things from her.“

“I have been to The West End Cafe many times for dinner, but this was my first time for lunch. Although the menu was more limited there many fewer people there. It tends to be very noisy in the evening but was much quieter during lunch making it conducive for conversation.“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“I wanted to Thank Everyone at the Sunrise Diner for all the years they made my Parents feel like family whenever they went there. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. “Thyme is a superb restaurant offering carefully prepared meals and fine personal service. We eat there often and have never had anything but a fine experience. The homey atmosphere elegant setting on the Roslyn duck pond makes dining a pleasure. Thyme is consistently high class.“

“Wanted to try a new spot for brunch w/the Mrs and this restaurant DID NOT disappoint. It was 11:30AM and the professionalism and greeting still felt like it was an evening date vibe. Our waitress Ashley, was patient and knowledgeable. She guaranteed I would like the Honey Garlic wings and they were the highlight of the night. Not taking away from the regular and Baileys Chicken and Waffles fresh and delicious taste. Needless to say we will be repeat customers. Possibly become regulars.“

“I'd like to give kudos to Nick and his staff at Veranda Restaurant & Cafe. We held my daughter's bridal shower brunch for 22 people there today under the pergola. The food was excellent, and the waitstaff led by Daniel was impeccable! I highly recommend this venue.
