“We went to the Applebee's in New Rochelle today. We were met by Warren who is one of the managers. He was friendly and took us to our table. We explained about a problem that we had at Applebee's at 815 Hutchinson River Parkway at the beginning of July. He apologized and said that the incident would not happen here. He then introduced us to Mariama who was our waitress. She introduced herself to us and was very friendly and efficient. She took our orders and everything came out perfectly. She stayed attentive the entire time. When it came time for the check Warren brought it and comped the entire meal and drinks. We told him that it wasn't necessary, but he insisted. We will definitely return to this establishment often“

“I experienced Nettie’s for the first time last evening. My dining experience was excellent from arrival to departure. The food was “DELISH!” The owner was welcoming & hospitable, the service was good, and the music and atmosphere wea awesome! I am so pleased and proud to have a “Black” owned establishment where you can dine in Queens in a tasteful environment, supporting our entrepreneurs and our community. “GOLDEN K BURGERS has a good rating. The burgers are solid, though a little pricey and they did not have their signature Bulgogi Burger. The vanilla shake was solid, and the chicken wings were awesome. All the burgers were well-flavored and had a juicy patty. The server was friendly, but the narrow little restaurant looked a little sad, we thought there would be more people instead of being the only customers. I would go again, however. The lunch menu prices are worth it, and the happy hour from 4pm to 8pm seem worth it, too.“

“The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“I wanted to Thank Everyone at the Sunrise Diner for all the years they made my Parents feel like family whenever they went there. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! I've never had a bad meal their. Love all of you. Hope to get back to Wantagh soon and see you all! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH♥️“

“Celebrated my husband's birthday at George White Restaurant on a Sunday evening. Great menu with lots of choices for every taste. I chose Steak Au Poivre from the Prix Fixe, husband and daughter had Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Cacciatore. Everything was excellent and our server, Cathy, was fantastic.“
