“In doing an Aperol Spritz themed bridal shower for my daughter we rented the Aperol spritz tricycle from Dolce & Gelato. I started contacting Gino Parente the minute my daughter got engaged.? I’m an earlier planner. Gino was so responsive and so kind immediately. Nothing was a problem for him. He is unbelievable with communicating, I called him at least 15 times. ?. He takes the time out to speak to you as if you are his only customer. A truly professional man to work with . On the day of the shower the tricycle was decorated beautifully with fake flowers and the bar attendant Katherine was fantastic! My daughter and our guests had an absolute blast getting drinks from the cart and taking photos. So much fun! I’ll definitely be using Gino’s company Dolce & Gelato again! A truly wonderful experience working with him!“

“Gelato is tasty and superb . ButThe ladies behind the counter had a noticeably annoying attitude . Maybe ill give them the benefit if the doubt that it was near closing time and there was still a handful of customersJust wanted to point that out because I know businesses always strive for improvement“

“Since ice cream is my favorite food group, I had to check out Dolce back when they opened. It has become a staple in our household. My fiancé and I sneak out without the kids knowing so we can grab a cup of gelato as a weekly ritual. We take the kids sometimes too lol. Danny and his staff are always friendly and accommodating and the gelato is always fresh and delicious.“

“Northern Sangae's new, fragrant coffee shop. They sell not only coffee, but also zelato, macarons, and delicious-looking bread... It's a clean and comfortable place. It's really nice because there are fewer people and it's quieter than the coffee shop next door.“

“Beautiful interior and decor! Really enjoy the ambitious here, it's a comfy spot for families and friends to sit and enjoy. Had the Chicken Tikka as "appetizers" and the Steaks as the "main course". Everything was rich and juicy! The Tomahawk as beautifully cooked (medium is theee way to go) and the side Mac n cheese was amazing!“

“There is not much that differentiates one carvel from another product-wise. However, the awesome customer service and friendly staff is what makes this one shine. We have a peanut allergy in the family and have never had an issue either. They also do a phenomenal job decorating cakes. 10/10 would recommend :)“

“This is one of the most aesthetic dessert places I've been to. Great for friends and family to gather, have a chat and get some yummy dessert. I visited in winter so some of the items I.e. durian was served frozen. Most of the items were pretty good, only item I would pass is the mango sticky rice because the rice wasn't sweetened and the sauce on the side did not absorb when poured over.“

“Classic American food! Burger and fries. Sid’s is an ideal spot for a delicious burger with some Cajun-seasoned fries. Good customer service and I received my food fairly quickly. You don't need McDonald's when you have Sid’s. I do recommend trying their brownies as a finisher. I will return for more awesome food.“
“I recently visited Lucky Penguin for the first time and had the pleasure of trying their matcha crepe, while my friend opted for the Ferrero Rocher rolled ice cream. Let me tell you, the matcha crepe was a revelation - it's easily one of the best I've ever had. Special thanks to the young man working there who recommended it to me; he really knows his stuff! The customer service was outstanding as well; they even gave me extra sauce topping for free. Yum! Lucky Penguin is a must-visit for dessert lovers.“
“This location reopened Summer of 2021 after repairs from a car that plowed into it a few years ago. Now surrounded by bollards to (hopefully) prevent another car from closing the store again. They added a few new flavors of soft-serve. Better than ever.“

“What a fun and tasty summertime treat! If you "but it's just a snow cone" you are mistaken this is much softer, fluffier and definitely a Snoball! This is the kind if treat once took my first spoonful I was already plotting when I could Come to eat it again and why did I only get a regular sized when I should have gone BIGGER. There are over 100 flavors to pick from and additives and more so truly you can go wild. I really enjoyed coconuts tutti fruti, tigers blood so far. I wish I had one sooner. Lots of young people working behind the counter but they had a smile on their faces 5/5 stars!“

“This spot is truly a hidden gem in the Westbury area. The essence of Nana's is that of an ice cream parlor and coffee shop with baked goods. However they also serve beer and cocktails alongside some quick eats such as burgers, and special menu items such as gumbo or shrimp & grits. On Wednesday evenings they have a fun Trivia Night which is free to join. Nana's is a slice of New Orleans hospitality in the middle of Nassau County.“

I’ve ordered food from here before, which is excellent and will continue to do so because of their generous hospitality. I will also pay it forward next time I’m at this restaurant!“

“I really like this store. It’s clean, tidy, and has a wide variety. They often have some different creative ideas. I can buy different styles every time I go there. Whenever I pass by, I will go into this store to take a look, and every employee is very friendly. Very friendly and patient. My daughter didn't know what to eat. She took her time and didn't rush us. She also very friendly recommended every flavor to the children. The happiest thing today was buying Easter bunnies, four in a box, very cute. It’s so cute that my daughter can’t bear to eat it. The owner of this store is really attentive to his business. I will recommend this store to my friends. It’s worth coming?“
“Charming neighborhood with the friendliest locals I’ve ever encountered in NY. It’s a beautiful drive here from Queens and randomly found a place that serves Hawaiian style shaved ice. It was delicious and I ordered the tropical shaved ice. The staff were very helpful, environment is clean and plenty of parking. I’m definitely going back to try more of their flavors/toppings!“
“Stopped by the other day with the family for a evening treat. Super friendly staff and the place is very clean!!! I also like the fact that they have tables inside and outside to sit and have your ice there. Instead of leaving with your ice and it melts away while you drive home. “I've been coming here for more than I want to admit and makes me feel old. I'm going to keep this very honest in respect to using common sense/speculation/as well as responding to some of the comments on here. We haven't been there in quite some time...surprised to see the place redecorated. My wife loved it...I understand it. I'm one of those people that walk into a pizzeria and see faded red Formica tables, benches and dated dingy decor as a good thing. I was never bothered by aesthetics as it seems seasoned and perfected like the food im about to indulge in. The old international cafe had a plethora of food, nothing that wow'd you BUT was consistently good even though they had a great variety. The freshly made waffles, variety of gelato and fresh whip cream needs no review. People who complain about noise should just stay home with their mask on. You are talking about an open place restaurant that is a staple of a community for decades. Why in 2024 are people so miserable to see others so happy. Place is jammed back...what do you expect it to sound like? People complaining about kids are the same $hit parents who rather hand their kid a iPad instead of letting them socialize. When we go there we expect it to be busy, loud, kids be kids, great food, great service and pay cash. With new owner ship comes many things and one them was the menu. We were thrown off since we were expecting our usual order. A lot of their items on the menu can be easily replicated at home. When we go out to eat we only order what we don't make for the most part. My wife ordered their Chicken Tenders which was made fresh as they were chicken cutlets cut down. I thought it was OK my wife was not happy bc the crispy bread outside came off the chicken itself. We also got wings and beer battered onion rings. Onion rings were great and wings are wings. We don't deep fry in the house for many reasons...we never ordered anything deep fried at the old spot either. Got their loaded potato skins which my wife enjoyed as well. Reviews about the new whip cream being OFF in taste is correct. Gelato tasted the same to us which was good. Price seemed fair for what we got compared to others places we have gone too. Best of luck to the new owners and staff. I honestly don't think we will be back bc happy wife happy life Our waitress was PHENOMENAL“

They also serve regular ice cream and milk shakes.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of flavors to choose from and they offer free samples, so you and your kids can try different flavors until you find one you like. They also have a small cup size for kids that's an appropriate portion for them.“

“The only place in the area to go when you're craving Italian Gelato! Their gelato more closely resembles gelato I've had in Italy, compared to other places who do not specialize in this. The staff and owners are helpful. Even though there are a million signs saying "only two samples per person", they were kind enough to give us more samples for our kids when it wasn't busy. The area is not the best for me, but if it's convenient for you, I'd definitely check them out!“

“Important to note they charge by cup size and per topping. I didn’t know this when I put a tiny bit of froyo in a cup, and a very small amount of 2 toppings, to see $9.37. If it were simply weighed (as it is in other shops), would’ve been <$6. I think this place is only potentially worth it if you fill your cup up and add a lot of one topping…“

“This small cafe is a great stop for a quick bite or drink. They pay attention to detail and things are made in house. It is conveniently located next to a local Chinese supermarket and an elementary school. Fortunately, there is a parking lot that has tons of space available for free. The cafe is quite small and meant for a quick order and pick up, but there's some seating for a sit down. Indoor Sit down is only for 3-4 people. You can place your order either by walking in or calling ahead of time to pick up. I ordered lumpia and it was cooked right away just as I ordered it. It was fresh and crispy. Definitely homemade. One order comes with 5 pieces along with a sweet and sour sauce. The chicken bacon avocado wrap is filling with lots of vegetables and protein. Flavor wise, everything is quite balanced. The Hawaiian chia bowl had mangos, bananas and granola on top. It was just sweet enough and not overpowering. Decent portion. The lemonade was a bit too sweet for my liking. If you'd like flavored lemonade, expect it to be flavored syrup mixed with some lemonade. It's delicious but quite sweet. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a quick bite, but not really for a sit down spot.“
“I have never been to Chip City before but I heard some ladies talking about it at work. So of course I HAD to go! I went in on the night before Christmas Eve to the store in Merrick and the sales associate was so sweet, helpful and easy to talk to. There weren’t many flavors to choose from as I went late in the evening. Everyone at dinner on Christmas Eve said these cookies were better than Crumble!“

“The workers are very nice as well as the soft served creamy Ice cream. The service is amazing however, sometimes the company runs slow when like they were lowdown on workers, during my experience had to wait 30 minutes for someone. “This place is inside of Tsaocaa, or are they partnered with them 0-0 But the donuts were good, a bit oily but tasty. We got an egg waffle and corndog too because it was Christmas so why not. They were made excellently and the finished products were so aethetic, insta-worthy 100%“
“The toasted marshmallow flavor is a must. Soo creamy and excellent quality! Customer service is fine, nothing out of the ordinary. However, the ice cream is on the pricier side. Currently they serve 2 scoops for $8. If it were just a little cheaper i would for sure give five stars. Overall my fav ice cream spot!“
“This ice cream shop is one of our favorite spots in EM. My friends travel from queens to get ice cream from here. They have flavors that we love Guava, Passionfruit, Mango, Tamarind, etc. Everything that you can't find in a normal spot. If the flavors that I listed are too much, it's ok they have normal ice cream too. The service is individuals, but the staff are very attentive to your needs. So don't rush them.“
“The best selection of Italian-style ices. Not your typical supermarket or pizza place Italian ice. High quality product at fairly steep prices. Still, the best place to get ices in the area. There are better places for ices in Queens and Brooklyn, but this is the best place I’ve found on Long Island.“

“I was in the area at lunchtime recently and decided to stop in to eat. I sat at the counter and took in all the retro vibes in the place. It actually reminded me of Krisch's in Massapequa, where I grew up. I was immediately handed a menu and quickly made the decision to have a burger & fries. It was ready in very good time. The fries were actually chips. It had been a long time since I had fries served that way. It was a large order too, hot and delicious. The burger was terrific too. It actually had a very similar taste to the Krisch's burgers I had so many times as a child. Everything was fine here. The food, service and ambiance were all top notch. The prices were a little better than what you'd expect to pay in 2024 too. I'll be back.“
