“My husband and I did the table side omakase and overall, all the sushi was absolutely delicious! The only critique we have is for the dessert, which was green tea ice cream. We feel like for the price per person, the dessert should be a bit more elevated than ice cream that was most likely store bought. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who asked, but just give a heads up that the dessert may feel lacking.“

“The poke bowls at this place are SOO GOOD! I am avid poke bowl lover, but sometimes they can be hit or miss, especially when it comes to a more take out style supposed to ordering one at a restaurant. But when I tell you the Miso Salmon poke bowl I ordered was one of the best bowls I’ve ever ate I would be far from lying. They also have really good bubble tea there, and the workers are very nice. Definitely recommend!“

“As a native from New England I was thrilled to find a place that had Whole Bellies. I was a bit disappointed after driving 30 mins to find that they didn’t have any despite it being on the menu. “I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻

“I almost forgot about this spot but remembered it from when I trained at the martial arts gym down the street. I saw the other reviews raved about the food and the impressive menu for such a little spot so I decided to stop in for lunch. Very delicious indeed and the fish was rather fresh and clean tasting. They offer a decently priced menu full of Japanese favorites including cooked dishes if you are not a sushi fan. I opted for a traditional tuna maki roll and a spicy tuna roll as apart of the lunch special. Both were so tasty I ended up ordering another roll to go and the crispy rice. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and traditional decor, very bright and clean looking. Sometimes these restaurants these days can get a little too funky with the decor so they made a proper choice maintaining simplicity. I see they deliver so I will definitely be ordering again when I am not in the area.“

“Came here to eat in New Year’s Day. Miso soup was so good. We ordered many hand yolks between two people. There was one tool I didn’t like too much I can’t remember the name now but all the rest were fresh and delicious.

“I chose the sushi deluxe, and I guess it’s similar to an omakase style. They told me it would be 9 pieces with one roll, and honestly, all the selections were great. The fish was very fresh and high quality. I was also really impressed by their service.

My friend and I were deep in conversation and lost track of time, but they never rushed us to leave. I will definitely be coming back and will make a reservation next time (we were lucky to get seats with no wait just by walking in)!“

“We had a very nice dinner at Shoyu Sushi. The shrimp gyoza were crispy, creamy, and full of flavor. The chicken yakitori was cooked perfectly, crunchy on the outside while still tender and juicy inside. We also enjoyed several sushi rolls, all of which were fresh and well made. Friendly service.“

“I've been eating at Aria Fusion for about 15 years. The food is amazing. Sushi, Pad Tai, Sesame Chicken, the Cerviche pictured is fantastic. They could be a little friendlier on a consistent basis, which has affected some reviews. However, they aren't rude. Overall, we love the food and it's worth going to as often as we can.“

“A reliable sushi spot that we keep coming back to when we’re in the area. We went around 5:30pm and were seated right away. It wasn’t too crowded initially, but picked up as the evening went on.

Parking on Mamaroneck Ave can be a bit tricky, but if you circle around, you’ll usually find something.

We like sitting near the front with a view of the street. Service is consistently good, and it’s nice seeing familiar staff over multiple visits.

We usually order a variety of rolls and share, which makes for a great mix. Everything is fresh, well presented, and tastes great. A Sapporo pairs perfectly with the meal.

Definitely a spot we’d recommend and continue to revisit.“

We commented to the owner/manager about one dish we didn't love, a jalapeno yellowtail ponzu (sauce was over powering) and we were given six sashimi slices of yellowtail on the house to assure our satisfaction.
