Greens were fresh, as were the sliced apples. We also had what has to be the best grilled cheese sandwich i have ever had. Loaded with a blend of 4 cheeses and caramelized onions. Bread was grilled to perfection. The order also included a fried chicken sandwich which had a huge fried chicken breast. Finally, the side order of chili didn't look that great but tasted fantastic\n I would also like to add that according to Google AI they offer gluten free bread and most items can be made gluten free.“

“We came in tonight, a party of 10 adults and 4 kids, for my dad's surprise 60th birthday and Ronnie was our waiter. From the moment we walked in, the staff was extremely friendly, everything was exceptionally clean, and service was absolutely outstanding. Ronnie was extremely attentive, sparked up lots of conversation with everyone, gave recommendations, and really took the time to include the kids (menu options, brought plain butter for their bread, etc). The food was outstanding, drinks were delicious and kept full, and we all left very very satisfied. For a majority of the party, it was our first time dining at Jacob and Anthony's, and there is no doubt that we will all dine there again.

“I have read past reviews about horrible service and do not agree. The service is a little on the slow side however you are there for an entire afternoon so it was never a problem. Also our hostess, waitress and all the support help were all delightful and a pleasure to converse and joke with. I have also seen complaints about pricing. Well you are at the track and it is expensive. There are picnic areas out back with free tables that you can bring your own food and beverages and not many sporting or entertainment venues allow that. Also a $20 cheese platter had plenty on it and the Barrata salad was delicious. I was not impressed with the chicken tenders and fries but she enjoyed them. Beers and drinks were a little pricey but no more than you would pay at a pro sporting event or concert and the drinks were made well. You throw in the atmosphere of being at the greatest horse racing track in the world and it makes for a very pleasurable afternoon. Saratoga Race Track has one of the most professional and courteous staff I have experienced. I would recommend The Porch to anyone. It is worth a few extra bucks for the exciting atmosphere and view and I already mentioned the wonderful staff.“

“We were there on June 4th Unbeknownst to us it was the start of Belmont week in Saratoga. The city was mobbed with people great to see. But not great on walk in dining. We were told it would be an hour wait because of all the reservations they had. This was not part of our plan of course. We then spotted an outdoor table in the shade. We grabbed it and the rest is history. We were greeted by Eli our server who by the way is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to craft beer. He managed to recommend beers for all three of us that were delicious. Outstanding job Eli. We shared a spicy little pizza and a charcuterie board and both were awesome. What a great experience from start to finish. great beer and food spells a good time and we will be back for more in the future“

“Ashley was our server and he was such a pleasure from the moment we entered the restaurant to the moment we left. He made sure we were comfy at all times and was super attentive despite being the only one working in the dining area at the time. My wife and I felt so welcome and appreciated. We came for restaurant week ($35 3 course meal/ person) during our anniversary weekend, and we both enjoyed churro sundaes for dessert, preceded by our entrees (butternut squash tortellini, beer braised short rib) and appetizers (apple pumpkin bisque, maple pulled pork sliders). I want to come back in the future as some of their regular menu items looked great.“

“This place is the only affordable option in the casino. We play it safe and order the cheeseburgers that were very good. At least the burger was big enough to tie me over for the rest of the night. The friendly staff is why we gave Lucky Joe's a four star rating. The only complaint would be that the mac and cheese was nasty, made in old oil.“

“Mary our waitress was amazing. Friendly, attentive. The food was outstanding. We had the fried calamari to start and it was tender, prepared with hot peppers and lemon aioli sauce. Mmmm good!!! The interval between courses was just right. No rushing, time for conversation and digestion. The portions were also perfect so you could have an appetizer and not get filled up before the entree'. The mixed drink menu had many to choose from and an extensive wine list. Keeping our expectations low because it was Christmas Eve , we were blown away with the staff, the food, and the ambiance . “My husband and I have been going to Pennel's ever since we were dating in 1963. This is our every family occasion celebration restaurant. Birthdays, anniversaries, even before holiday gatherings are held at Pennell's. It has been a part of our family tradition for over 60 years, and I just know our children will continue it for years to come. Great meals and memories! Thank you Pennell's.“

We wanted our reception there and Michelle and Tina were so easy to work with and very accommodating, with many helpful suggestions. Then a couple of weeks ago the ceremony venue fell through - Michelle to the rescue! Her response is almost always “no problem, we can help you”. They left their beach bar tent up an extra week, cleaned it out, helped us set it up and even painted over a sign for us! It ended up being a beautiful space for the ceremony. The reception.. the food was delicious, the service was impeccable.. not intrusive but friendly and always there. We are so happy we chose Dock Browns - it was a perfect day we will remember forever.“

“We came for trivia night and were blessed with a tacos and margs special. Tacos and margs were good! We assumed it would be busier because of the trivia and thus service a little slower, so we kept ordering another round of drinks when our server delivered a round. When we ordered the third round (only 2nd drink for one of us) it took about 25-30 minutes and several check ins about the missing drinks for them to bring his tap beer, and another 5-10 after that for the margs. We did also question if the wait staff had to make their own drinks too which would have obviously contributed to the delay and be understandable with the timing and busy-ness of things. Not sure what it's like on non trivia nights. Overall would definitely go again, but make sure to order several rounds of drinks at once and do not wait to order food either (though they had a food runner so that was mostly pretty quick)“

The owner was there and gave such great suggestions on wine , was teaching John the bartender about each of the wines she suggested. It was nice to see the interactions between them and how much care she took in sharing advice.“
