“I had the lunch menu of pork fried rice, pork egg roll and boneless ribs. Everything was good but the pork ribs. They were very dry. I could hardly cut them and very dry. I would not order them again. The people seem friendly enough.“

I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. “Normally they make great food. But. I will caution you. Do not order the Yummly shrimp. It’s advertised as large fried shrimp with a mayonnaise sauce. I got large fried shrimp with a half pound of sweet mayonnaise globbed on top. Way too much, could not taste anything but sweet mayonnaise. Needless to say, no one wants to eat shrimp with a half pound of mayonnaise on it. It’s not a sauce of any kind. Ten mins later at home it turned to warm clear gel. Straight to the dogs.“

I ordered the shrimp dumpling noodle soup with bok choy. The broth was tasty and delicious! The handmade shrimp dumplings were very generously loaded with shrimp. I ordered extra bok choy and a side of chili oil. This was a perfect lunch and I recommend it highly!“

“Great local Chinese restaurant with large portions and great prices, especially lunch specials. The owners and staff are very friendly, and service is quick, even if you decide to order at the place and take out. Love their brown and garlic sauce, which I compare regularly amongst local Chinese places. Food is always hot and the place is very clean, though I do wish that they had some sit down tables. Will continue to visit.
