“The food was very-good, not great, not just-good. The ambiance was incredibly amazing, not very-good or great. I sat the the bar for dinner and it was a fantastic experience. In the front room, think grandfather's basement comfort with elevated cocktails and high-end food. Perfect combo of quality and comfort.“

“The first pie I had from John at Fenice was the Detroit Red...which Tony picked up for me last week when i was at work...i finished the whole pie by just after midnight...but I had to go for the regular NY Cheese pie fresh from the oven. We scored one of the two tables there and were able to decide which of the other slices to bring home...it was like a pizza candy store. We didn't finish our pie so brought home two slices, and I wanted to try John's sicilian, I couldn't leave there without a Detroit Red slice and Tony wanted the multi cheese white pizza...every pizza we tried was perfect! something about the dough. The sauce. The cheese. The dough for the Sicilian and the Detroit Red was light and perfectly crunchy on the bottom. Flavor out of this world. We drove from White Plains just to try Pizza Fenice. worth the trip.“

“This was my first time entering this pizza shop. My husband works at the hospital, so I caught the train to New Rochelle to meet him but I was very hungry and was craving pizza all day. I googled pizza shop near me and I believe 3 popped up. Well I chose Mario’s shop, and was not disappointed. Something about that pizza sauce was different. It was so delicious and the crunchy crust was everything!!!! My husband told me I made a “good choice” after he swallowed his slices lol. I’m adding this shot to my list for sure. “Hands down the best gluten-free pizza I have ever had. The crust is incredible, perfectly crisp and flavorful, and not soft and soggy crust like other gluten free pizzas, which is hard to find with gluten-free options. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients.

“We stopped here while traveling from RI to PA and WOW are we glad we did. We needed a place to accommodate our small pup so we stopped to ask if they had outdoor seating. They didn’t but they created it by carrying a table and chairs outside for us - talk about customer service! Nick was such a fantastic host - setting us up, providing exceptional service and great conversation! I also can’t forget to mention how incredible the pizza and chicken roll were! “Got invited to a #yelp event. I said pizza. I’m in. This place is kind of hidden but well worth it. Many pizza slices available. Soon as you walked in and smell the greatness you are going to have. The had sandwiches as well. I decided to get the Popeye slice (spinach & ricotta) and a prosciutto slice. Oh my goodness was amazing!! They had about 10 flavors of gelato to pick from as well. I got a scoop of the pistachio & a scoop of fruity pebbles. I was told by the owners daughter who was at register (very polite & friendly) they make them in house. I had to drive little of 30 min to get there. If you’re in the area stop by or if you like me take a ride. You won’t be sorry. There’s a fountain outside where you or the kids can cool off.
