“I absolutely love this place. I have a very bad case of long covid since October 2021 where almost everything smells and tastes rotten or sickly sweet. I am able to eat the hot pot miso ramen soup with a lot of different vegetables, and I can have the chocolate cake/cupcakes. So delicious! I can also eat the white rice and the grilled pineapples. Before finding out that I can have all of this, I was losing a massive amount of weight, thank God for the few things that I can have here, I’m able to maintain my weight now. I just tend to go a bit crazy with what I can eat because I’m so hungry from not really eating the other days. The workers are amazing. The manager, Justin is really nice and very funny. The owner Darin is also very nice. Love the atmosphere and the music, I still can’t eat the other things and the smells from the other foods still bother me but I deal with it just so I can eat what I’m actually enjoying there. Thanks kpot for being the first restaurant where I’m actually eating some things that I can enjoy. Highly recommend this place, especially this location. Twenty stars“

“As a new resident to the neighborhood, this place gives me a little piece of home cooking. Good kimchi is hard to find, and most are poor imitations. Kate’s Kimchi is one of the best I’ve tried in a long time, and having it so close is brilliant. I’ve tried their Bibimbap and the Dubu Bokkum—both fantastic. If you’re like me and miss home cooking, but find it a hassle to drive into the city or to Queens, Kate’s Kitchen is a time saver. What a gem! Highly recommended. I just hope this place doesn’t get too popular.“

“We had an early dinner at Koba and tried their bento box. The staff were attentive and friendly . Helping customers to make selection and explaining the ingredients to them. When it’s my turn i was glad they entertained my request. Meal portion was legit and delicious... The staff even checked on our meal satisfaction after that so it’s really a cosy experience. “This place is gorgeous! My new favorite hidden spot in Lower Manhattan. I love Korean tofu soup ( soondubu ) and i used to go to BCD in midtown but so glad I don’t have to! The tofu soup was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The silky tofu melted and the broth was comforting and deeply savory. It came bubbling hot with a side of rice and banchan, making it a perfect hearty meal.
The protein bowl ( i guess small size) was so good too, portion was not small for decent price. I will definitely be back!“

“I had an amazing experience at Bonchon! The chicken was incredibly delicious — perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were super crunchy and fresh, just the way they should be. On top of that, the service was fantastic. Kylia took great care of us the entire time and made the visit even better.

“The lady at the front desk now is super pretty and nice, and has a great attitude. The drinks made by the tea making lady are also delicious every time.
However, there is a strong smell of cigarette smoke every time I come here. The smell of smoke wafts in after the staff smokes, and it lingers for a long time, which is very unfriendly to pregnant women and children.“

“I am a regular customer at your Maiden Lane store.

For years the I have enjoyed the variety and freshness of food, the neatness of the store and above all, the staff is consistently courteous and professional. Some of your customers were also referred by me.

However yesterday at approx. 1:00pm I had the displeasure of watching the most unprofessional and insensitive interaction between the Asian cashier; the tall gentleman with glasses and a boy (minor approx. 12 years old). The boy was obviously Special Needs.

The boys handicap was clearly obvious to other customers as well, however this cashier's conduct was relentlessly rude, disrespectful and demeaning to the minor, with total lack of any emphaty.

Courteous and professional customer service is a right that ALL of your customers must enjoy. This must NOT exclude those with Special Needs.

I strongly recommend that your establishment include Sensitivity Training for staff to address this gap“
