“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“Just had food delivered from Popeyes from Uber eats one of the entrées were missing called Uber they helped us out wonderful call Popeyes and they did nothing after two phone calls their answer was the Uber driver must’ve took it very classy and hung up on us“

“Last night we (2 couples) went to Ruth Chris Steak House in Lake Grove, NY for dinner and had the best dinning experience we have had in awhile. It is now our favorite steak restaurant. The food is outstanding, compliments to the chief!! Also, I would like to comment on our waitress, Kim, who is terrific!!! She was so attentive to all our requests, took care of us all night. Also, the manager is a real gentleman, and he also made us feel comfortable and special. Without a doubt, this is the best steak restaurant on the Island, we have been to most of the upscale restaurants here and we rate this the best. “Had the pleasure of choosing Tara Inn for lunch today, every establishment can learn a lesson from the customer service that my friend and I experienced. Upon walking in we were greeted by Peter, Tara’s husband and son-in-law of the founder who named the bar for his daughter 47 years ago. We told him it was our first visit and he offered us seats and welcomed us. The regulars at the bar guided us through the menu and we each had a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles for $1 per burger expecting very small burgers we were surprised to find them standard sized and deliciously prepared to medium. My friend had the fried shrimp and I had a $13 steamed lobster! Excellent! They offer daily specials and one of the gentleman at the bar told me their steaks are very good. Every staff person went out of their way to make us feel at home. A charismatic women came out from the back and introduced herself as Tara she thanked us for choosing to lunch there. Why can’t other places realize the importance of making a first time patron feel welcome. I
Had a great afternoon enjoying the excellent variety of beers that they provide on tap. The charming decor has probably changed little since the ‘70s and that adds to the vibe. If you want to go to the friendliest bar on Long Island, head over to Tara Inn.“

“Picked up Three pies two hero’s the price is great. we ordered three different types deep dish. Thin. Crust and regular pie with meatballs five stars the meat balls really made the pie.“

“We have been coming to this restaurant for quite some time now. Oftentimes we order for delivery and the food comes to us in a timely fashion. They keep the busy small eat in order area and kitchen clean. They have many choices, so our mixed diets of regular and vegan have delicious items to choose from their menu.

Vegetarian options: There are vegetable choices, like broccoli and mixed veggies for example. There are various types of tofu dishes too.“

“Went to Grumpy Jack's to celebrate my granddaughter's H.S. graduation. We were a table of 22, seated upstairs. Our waitress, Joelle, was amazing. She was working the entire restaurant. The downstairs and our group upstairs. She was very pleasant, professional, and did a great job handling everything herself. The food was so good. There are so many food options on the menu, it caters to everyone's tastes. Definitely recommend going there and we will definitely go back. Looking forward to it!!“

“Love Yaroa, hate driving to the city. The best Yaroa wasn’t in the city though, it’s a 15 min drive from me at bueno deli 2 🩷 just like they make them in the DR :)
Also noticed they carry a lot of Dominican products I can’t find at other stores! So glad to have found this place while door dashing“

Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both.This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. You can grab lunch and drinks after you play, just show up and they accommodate parties of all sizes. You won't be disappointed!“

“Small little pupuseria, the pupusas are delicious, great sauce and Cole slaw, they come hot, they are perfectly cooked, and their eggs and egg sandwiches are great as well. The food is clean, delicious, and the pupusas are quite authentic. whenever I have gone there, most of the customers are Spanish speaking and that gives me confidence in their authenticity. The people that work the counter are very friendly, accommodating, and they speak Spanish and English perfectly. The have ready made food and counter service but the kitchen food is cooked upon order. perfect place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.“

“I tried many different Chinese take-out restaurants in the area when I moved here 2 years ago. I was really disappointed by the quality until I ordered from New Kings. I'm surprised they don't have a higher rating. The food is consistently good. I just wish they had a few more things on their menu like duck and wontons with shrimp.“
