“We’ve been here many times, and the service is always excellent. It’s a great spot to visit, especially if someone in the group isn’t a fan of seafood. Although it’s a seafood restaurant, they offer a variety of delicious Korean dishes. Our favorites are 김치찌개, 돈까스, and 한치회무침—which almost tastes like 물회, just without the soup. All the rolls are fantastic as well. Highly recommend!“

“I want to say this place was great in food, vibes, and coziness. This is a great definition of a mom and pop restaurant.

Firstly the food.
I had the bulgogi bento. The bulgogi looked, smelled, and tasted amazing. It had the normal bulgogi flavor with that nice hit of smokiness almost like wokhay from Chinese cooking. I loved each bite as the smokiness hit my mouth and nose. The sides of the bento was good too, the dumplings were nice and crunchy with a nice but just a tad bit bland filling, tho to be fair the filling is fairly standard for korean dumplings. The kimichi is what I prefer, which is the more freshly made kind. And the rice was cooked as I expected from a Korean restaurant, which is good. The salads were fine again its a salad, but it was nice that they added kale to the salad adding this bit of variety. The salad dressing was sweet and a bit tangy, mostly sweet which I do like since I have a sweet tooth.

The other bento was the shrimp tempura, I did get one of the shrimp tempura and it was good. The crunchy and breading was nice and you had the shrimp flavor that was still there.

Finally the tteokbokki. It was great. The rice cakes were chewy and soft and the fish cakes were soft and not mushy. The flavor of the sauce was great too, it had this nice umami to it and was the perfect level of spicy to enjoy.

The price for the food was also reasonable. Both bento costed roughly $18 each and the tteokbokki costed $12. They also had an interesting line up of drinks that was nice.

All this aside I want to also note how cozy and welcoming it felt. The lady that was serving us was very kind and caring. She even asked about how the addition of kale to the salad was because it was a new addition that they changed because people liked kale. I really liked that attention to detail. The store was medium sized with some odds and ends here and there but that added to the charm of the place.

I went on a Thursday during lunch time and it had a good amount of business via pick up but I was there alone with the person I was with dining in.

Overall as a Korean I think this place hits better then certain places in mind the food was good and the atmosphere was comforting.

I do regret not trying some of the other menu items I guess I have to return for some more.

For the sake of Google reviews I gave everything a 5. My personal score may be closer to a 4.4 which is high for my own personal score“

“Really enjoyed the food from Bloom Chicken.

The small boneless chicken was honestly huge and the chicken was super crispy. The spicy rice cakes were way better than I expected — especially since I don’t usually like rice cakes.

The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is that it came with no radish, no dipping sauce, nothing on the side.

For $14 for a small order, I’d expect at least some radish, I’d also give up a few pieces of chicken for radish.

Also, it’s definitely more of a take-out spot — the covered patio is nice but not heated, therefore I ate my food in the car since it was cold.

Overall though, really solid food and an easy 4-star meal.“

“I work locally but I’m not very familiar with the area, so I tried Bibille through Uber Eats. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was really happy with my order. I got the beef ramen, which usually comes with one egg, but I added an extra just in case. Honestly, one probably would have been enough. I also ordered a small side of kimchi, which was a perfect addition. The ramen was flavorful and filling.

I called before my order was picked up to ask about utensils, and the person who answered was kind, patient, and polite. That extra care really stood out to me.

“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! “This place is a neighborhood gem for Korean food. Their food is actually very tasty and fresh. Although their Korean BBQ meats are all pretty good, I think they make an exceptionally good kalbi (marinated short ribs) if you're in the mood for grilling at the table. However, their best dish is Yook Gae Jang - a spicy beef broth with shredded brisket meat and some vegetables. It's so hearty and delicious! Perfect to warm up the soul during the colder months! Not only is it their best dish, it is the best Yook Gae Jang in all of Bergen County imo! Anyway, you can't go wrong with any of their food choices here. All fresh and quite tasty.

Parking lot is pretty big, and the restaurant is clean but dated. And there is a cold draft in some areas of the restaurant because of all the vents that suck out the smoke. Service is fast and attentive, but the language barrier limits an enhanced service experience. But I've always found their service to be just good enough for me. And prices are fair and they give you lots of side dishes/appetizers with your meal. Oh, and ask for hot tea and they will give you a cup of Korean corn/barley tea which you'll enjoy! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the host and the staff. Our server, Ana, was amazing — so attentive, mindful, and friendly throughout our meal. “I've been going here since they opened in 1996(?). The owners have changed a few times since, but the nangmyung recipe has remained the same. I love that the newest owners added the mixed nangmyun (mool bim nangmyun/ 물빔냉면) to the menu. Was always torn between either the mool or bibim nangmyun and now I get the best of both worlds. The last time we came the service was not great, Damien completely changed how we feel about Kpot Englewood. “Usually I do delivery or take out but decided to order by going inside today. The cashiers Jordan and Julian (sorry, not sure of correct spelling) were so kind to me. They complimented my tattoos and Jordan was so attentive to my order. When I asked for the receipt for my scrapbook, they made me feel so happy.
