“Been going here since it opened in 1995, and after trying other Subway stores, I know why this will remain the only Subway I ever go to. Always fresh, clean and employees are friendly. I've tried the Tuna sandwich at other Subways, and it's difficult to get past the stale, old taste and smell. This store stays busy (another reason why I guess the food is so fresh), so I see why they need to move quickly, but still remain personable. Family owned business, same owners since the store opened, it's a rare find these days. They made it through Covid with many of the same employees it seems, when other places were laying people off. Good people, and great food. A Valley Stream staple.

Vegetarian options: Many different vegetarian options - wraps, sandwiches, salad bowls.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have an entrance with a full wheelchair ramp.“

“I like to eat their 6 inch Chicken Buffalo Cheesesteak Sub, 12 inch Chicken Teriyaki Cheesesteak Sub, Fries, and Hi-C Fruit Punch it’s very good.
I come here a few times and I love it so far. My number 1 favorite to get is the Chicken Teriyaki Cheesesteak. I like the flavor of the chicken. Of course I like lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo too. Next time I’ll try the Chicken California Cheesesteak , or the Chicken Philly Cheesesteak.“

“They make it really good, I get Italian bread, turkey, salami, American cheese, (Honey mustard or mayonnaise) then they ask toasted, and I say yes then add lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños and red onions. Delicious ? but everyone has different taste but I love it.“

The menu choices are excellent, we had truffle fries, I had the P48 Panini (steak, mozzarella with peppers & onions) and to cap off as a desert, I had the Iced Nutella Latte... All were excellent. Situated on Willis Avenue in the beautiful upscale neighborhood in Albertson, Nassau County, this Subway location is super modern and clean. Most Subway locations that I've been to, especially in the five boroughs, are all depressing looking and in dire need of updating. The female employee that prepared my sub was friendly, and the sub turned out solid. The Raspberry cheesecake cookies that I received were stale. I believe that their cookies are supposed to be soft baked? No biggie. Anyways, I would return here in the future for a quick bite.“

The app used for online order charged some hidden fees that were not made transparent. When I confronted them about this during pickup, they immediately gave me cash back for the hidden fees that even they were not made aware of. I appreciate the honesty and the food was very good. I especially like the steak quesadillas, the Beast and the Buffalo chicken cheesesteak hero. Super tasty! The wings were a little overdone with some burnt sides but overall still tasty. I will order from here again but will call directly to place the order instead of placing the order via the online app.“

I found it right outside of the new Five Below.I placed an order via their website which gave me a pick-up time of 15 minutes...it was closer to 20, but so what. I was so excited and hungry to dig in, I forgot to get any pictures.Sandwiches are large and well worth the price, which I was surprised wasn't higher. The Cuban sandwich included the classic ingredients of roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese and pickles; served on a lovely pressed bread it was delicious and satisfying. It was the perfect ratio of ingredients.The Torta Pollo includes a crispy chicken, avocado, refried beans, poblano crema, jalapenos, cabbage and tomatoes. I don't think I've ever had such a crispy chicken cutlet, it was fabulous. Along with all the toppings it made for a wonderful spicy bite; really fabulous. Also added a side of yucca fries which were tender and lovely.As I said at the start I was really impressed and can't wait to try more of the menu.“
