“I came here with the intention of just checking it out for a possible baker for my wedding cake. I met with Mena who is absolutely amazing. Her warmth, care and charisma just radiate. She helped my fiancé and I pick wedding cake flavors, made suggestions and gave us samples. Her Bavarian cream is out of this world. We ended up getting a lobster tail when we were leaving. I swear on everything I love that was the best thing I had in a LONG time. It was crisp, yet soft and as big as my hand filled from top to bottom with the Bavarian cream. I see why it’s so highly recommended and I’m upset it took me so long to come! This will now be my bakery of choice. I even watched her and all the staff interact and dish out the same warmth and to every customer that came it. I see why they are a staple in the community and I’m so excited for my new don’t cake. “My sister ordered a gluten free cake for my 70th birthday. It was the most delicious cake I have ever eaten. It was a double layer with mocha mousse in the center of each layer. The buttercream icing, if you are an icing fan is also fantastic, Everyone at my party was thrilled with it. I have never had any gluten free product as delicious delicious as this cake. Decorated beautifully too. Amazing!

“Let me start with I am not one to write reviews however this one is worth the occasion. It was an absolute pleasure working with Wildly Cakes to get a cake for my bridal shower. We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“

“The cannolis here are INCREDIBLE... 10/10!!! The cookies are pretty good, too, as they are not overly sweet and go perfectly with coffee or tea. However, their mini cakes are not the best, which is why I'm docking a star. I ordered a mini tiramisu which was dry and seemed to have a frosting layer rather than a creamy mascarpone, which was disappointing. Overall, awesome bakery! I would just say to avoid the mini cakes.“

“The staff is incredibly kind here always. My mom and I came from NY and when we got here everything was sold out for pick up orders. The staff member asked us to wait while they did the math and saw if there was any leftover. He so kindly brought the bagels and spreads to our car and was INCREDIBLY generous. “I have been looking for a vegan bakery for the longest and finally stumbled upon Flourish Baking company. Sent an email and got a quick response from Diane. She was so kind, understanding and overall so helpful. The cake was delicious and the cupcakes as well!! “I stopped in recently to pick up a very last minute cake for a birthday celebration, no pre order made. There were so many choices. I picked up a small strawberry shortcake (made with fresh strawberries) and it was a huge hit! Like other reviews mention, this is an “old school bakery” vibe, no frills, just a large variety of home made delicious treats and reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area in need of a special order dessert, last minute needs, or just something really yummy to enjoy! ***cash only“

“I’ve had better pies, but these are probably the best in the area. The fruit in everything is super fresh. It’s a cute lil bakery experience to visit. Would I wait on that long af line I’ve seen in the holiday photos? No. I’ve had better pie at Stop and Shop and ShopRite in Scarsdale. But I’d go back for the sheer variety in pies for sure.

The other offerings are great here, cookies, rainbow cookies, bread, Bundt cake, etc.

I want to settle an issue I’ve read about in these reviews. I ordered the jelly doughnuts just to see if it was even possible to suck the jelly out. It is DEFINITELY not possible to empty the doughnuts of jelly or even lick it out. I had five people try besides me. So, it seems like there are fluke experiences where, indeed, the doughnuts are NOT filled. I do not believe the customers should have faced blame for the barren doughnuts. May God protect you from such calamities.“

I am not a huge pie person but this was really pretty good pies! They have a market stand at 79th and Columbus Sunday farmers market in Manhattan as well.“

“So been here alot before i started writing reviews. In The Summer during the Thornwood car show, my parents and i can be seen eating their italian ices, which are very good. They also have cakes, pastries, and i believe i tasted my first almond horn from here, and it was good! Also once brought a pint to use for my 18th/Graduation party a few years ago. Inside, they do have chairs and tables where one can sit if they want.
Went here on Saturday August 10th 2024 while at the Thornwood car show with my parents. We were there to get italian ices. Staff was pleasant, and asked what we wanted right away. I got a Cotton Candy Italian ice, and my mom got lemon, and my dad got chocolate. We paid with cash, as they charge for using a credit card. Italian ices were very good! as we enjoyed them! We hope to be back soon!“
