“What a gem of a place! I sat outside with some friends - we ordered inside and a server brought the drinks out. To my surprise they have cynar and were willing to make a cynar spritz! Delicious. I also tried the pineapple margarita, too. Refreshing. It's really cute inside.
Yet, this lovely night could have been a bad memory. Buzzing on good drinks, atmosphere and conversation, I left my (beloved, expensive) sunglasses behind...gasp! The staff not only rescued them, but were willing to make sure they made their way back to me. 10/10 for Stockade Tavern. Will come again and again.”

“We came to get takeout for our anniversary and we were not disappointed! Mercedes and Team are so kind and generous and the food matched their energy - clearly made with love! We had the fish plate with 2 sides (Mac and cheese and coleslaw) the fried chicken plate with 2 sides (Mac and cheese and potato salad) and their dessert - coconut pineapple cake in a cup. All the food was excellent, especially the fried fish. Beautifully seasoned and prepared! Mac and cheese is very flavorful and cheesy. Both the salads were good and I look forward to trying more sides! The desserts were phenomenal and we even got to try the sweet potato cheesecake which is SUBLIME and some sweet potato cornbread which was heavenly! You can be sure we will be back again!”

“Love love Garden Cafe! The food is amazing, service is always great (quick and very friendly), and setting is cozy and convenient (right in the heart of Woodstock). Their creativity with food and beverages is why we keep coming back. Whether you’re vegan or vegetarian or neither, you’ll find something very tasty. I’m vegan and this is my favorite restaurant of all for food, people, and atmosphere. Highly recommend! Oh and the owner is one of the kindest, most genuine and caring people you’ll be lucky to meet”

We made this a pit stop on our travels- pretty quick detour off 87- and had coffee- delicious! and hands down the best bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich ever. House made english muffin, melty herbed cheese, fresh and light scrambled egg and crisp bacon.

“Mountain Gate has the best Indian food in the Hudson Valley by far, probably even the entire state. Absolutely love coming here! The chicken vindaloo is always my go-to dish, and my husband loves the shrimp curry. Food is always fresh and just spicy enough. Beautiful decor and super friendly waitstaff. I would definitely recommend Mountain Gate to anyone looking to soothe their Indian food craving.”

“Best place in Kingston for a drink and/or dinner! We recently moved to the area and have visited Mirador a few times, each time was incredible. We now bring any friends or family who visit here! Also, love that they serve chips with their vermouth. Great little snack at the end of a long day.”

“We wandered into Chleo on a weekend getaway and left plotting how soon we could come back. Every dish left us wishing we had come with a larger group so we could try even more dishes. Our waitress recommended we share 5-6 dishes between us. Here is what we tried:

- Spaghetti Alla Nerano: the kind of summer pasta dish you dream about. Honestly, we could’ve happily eaten a whole vat of it.
- Pork Schnitzel: perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside.
- Scallop Crudo: bright and refreshing with peaches, melon, and pineapple.
- Tomato Pie: another standout. The cornmeal crust was so good we joked that if they made a foot-long version, it would be the perfect bite.
- Smashed Cucumbers were a hit too, pairing beautifully with smoked and whipped trout roe and fresh dill.

Between the perfect flavors and the warm, relaxed vibe, Chleo is definitely a must-visit for a date night or a group dinner in Kingston.”

“Yesterday we passed by this brewery and decided to go in. Inside the room is average size, what I didn't really like is that there is no design, it's just a boring room with tables. The bar counter was served by a nice and professional young Asian lady. My husband and I always try flights, here the flight consisted of 3 types of beer, the volume was not small, I still prefer when the flight is 5-6 types, but smaller in size, so I can choose a larger amount of future purchase. We sat outside, there were several large wooden tables with umbrellas. The territory was also simple, without design, looked a little unkempt. There was a music group preparing for a performance, but we left without having time to listen. I really like live music in such places. Of the 3 types of beer, I liked 2, my husband liked 1, we bought a type of beer to take with us that we had not tried and it turned out to be not bad. The prices are average.”
