On another note this was our first time there. I went over to another table where a couple was waiting for the rest of their party. When I inquired what they have had previously their response was "there isn't anything on the menu that we would not like". I believe that would be 100% true after we experienced the quality with just a few dishes... The beverages were excellent too.“

“Good Value with a Lovely Ambiance

This place offers good value for the price and ambiance, though the food didn’t quite exceed my expectations. The ambiance was lovely, and the service was nearly perfect - our server was. Our favorite was the duck, which was cooked with crispy skin.
Dover sole is renowned for its delicate, sweet flavor and velvety soft texture with its flaky fillets fall apart effortlessly with a fork. However, in your case, the sole was drier than expected, which might have been due to slight overcooking. Despite this, Dover sole remains a prized choice for its refined taste and texture.
The lamb is a solid choice if you’re very hungry.
For appetizers, the burata was intriguing when fried, but I preferred it in its original form as frying didn’t enhance the dish for me.
The thin layer of steak tartar was served on fatty toast that overpowered the tartar, which was a bit disappointing—I wouldn’t order it again as tartar.
The oysters were not all professionally opened.
The side mushrooms were too bland and not the type I expected, though the side potatoes were a hit with my mom.
Drinks were well-crafted, while others didn’t blend flavors as smoothly. Olive cake is worth trying!
Overall, this is a great spot for a casual dinner. We visited late in the evening, so maybe the chef was tired, which might have affected some dishes. Despite minor imperfections, the overall experience was enjoyable.“

“We recently had our twins college graduation party at Caio Caio and were extremely satisfied with the whole process from scheduling and planning (Gina) to the party itself. The food was delicious and service was exceptional. Nick and his crew were on top of their game!! Everyone had a great time and we received numerous comments on how great everything was, especially the focaccia sandwiches and mini cannolis. We live down the street and will definitely be back soon.

“The food and service were excellent on my first visit there. I brought my mom for an early Mother's Day dinner and was seated quickly. Gianna was outstanding as our server, making sure we had everything we wanted and gave some great suggestions. The short ribs and the Orchetti with the sausage, mushrooms and mascarpone sauce were absolutely worth the visit. I absolutely look forward to returning and trying some of the other entrees. Blue Cave is a great addition to the area. 100% recommended. They take reservations which I recommend if you visit.“

We struggle with this because we are vegetarians so there is no meat being cooked in our dishes. The milanese is incredible. the salad that comes as a soup or salad choice is the best included salad ive ever had with a meal. the bread with olive oil and fava bean hummus is my favorite bread service around. “Due to Covid restrictions Jovi's hadn't been opened for awhile. Went on a Friday night. The restaurant was at 50% capacity and every table was full. They have changed their menu, which I found very interesting. I ordered the special of shrimp and lemon ricotta pasta with tomatoes and red peppers $23. I asked for it to be served without tomatoes. When the server brought my food which seemed to take awhile, she said "oh, I forgot no tomatoes." There weren't any red peppers but a boat load of tomatoes. I didn't want to wait for my food while the other guests were eating so as to why I didn't send it back. The 4 pieces of shrimp still had the tails on which I thought was odd in a pasta dish, but the pasta was very good. It seems that Jovi's is working out some issues after being closed due to the covid restrictions. I'll probably give them another chance, hope they're able to get their flow going again.“
