“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.”

“The food was really good. All of it was made well and for the most part amazing service. My only issue was the white hostess told us there were no tables and seated us right by the door completely cramped. Asking another waiter he was able to move us and said we need to be done at 8 as the table was reserved. This was at 6, showing the hostess just did not seat us well and communicate properly. If seated there we were ready to leave, but because the other staff were competent, we stayed and enjoyed good food. My other issue is as the tables are small we could only eat one plate at a time. Otherwise, it was very good! I just wish the hostess did not ruin the experience from the get go, with her incompetence.”

“Always promised myself on my next trip to NYC I would go to The Dead Rabbit. I am so pleased I got to do it. The staff the cocktails the food and the decor & cleanliness were A1. Loved the welcome my friend and I got, (even when we were a bit late for our booking) throughout the service from the fabulous servers. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Bloody brilliant 👏”

“The Japanese and Italian flavors mixed well and are to come back for. I stayed in the hotel where the restraunt was attached. In the area, with a focus of cocktails and table service for an upscale environment, it was delightful.
I love cocktails, and the servers were personable. Nothing pretentious. They focus on service and taste! Our food was excellent and the drinks were even better. It's a pleasant experience.”

“Incredible cocktails and food in a lovely setting with great vibes. Went for a light bite and some drinks. Service was warm, attentive and friendly as well. The Pandan Punch was honestly the best cocktail I’ve had to date! Excited to return to try more entrees.”

“Some of the best seafood in the city comes from the PdF kitchen and everything else, especially the desserts, are great as well. The price lends itself to a special occasion but it’s worth stopping by even to just enjoy some great cocktails, the strong Spanish-focused wine program, or some exciting after dinner drinks. One of my favorite spots in NYC.”

“After all these years this old flame still has it.
Fun flirty staff crew, on top of their game.
Great French classics.
Foie gras, escargots, soupe L'oignone, Canard, Bone marrow, Steak frites, And of course, the dry aged prime beef Black Label Burger.
Good martini, great wine.
Perfect Soufflé.
Bon appétit !”

“Nut allergy friendly: Nothing we had had any concerns. I don't think anything they use has nuts.
Wow. This probably ranks into my top 3 Korean restaurants in the US. It's a quaint shop from the outside that I almost walked by despite following directions, but it's packed with flavor.
We made a reservation two weeks ahead when they opened up and were promptly seated.
Order-to-Dishes: Roughly 13-19 mins for appetizers, 23 mins for sharable entrees.
For three people, we ordered:
-Kimchi (complimentary): Excellent. Great balance, not too acidic.
-Seafood Butter-Gui (5/5): An interesting Mediterranean feeling dish with the pita, but it blends the butter with delicious seafood and the perfect accompaniments to balance out each bite.
-Seafood Pancake (5/5): They manage to get squid or shrimp or mussels into each bite of the pancake. Stellar texture. Delicious balance with the chive and basil.
-Fried Soft Shell Crab (6/5): Holy smokes. Must order. Not sure how they fry this but it is excellently crispy and still fresh tasting at the same time.
-Fried Chicken (4.5/5): I give this a good rating for excellent portions. It's fried in a similar way as the soft shell crab. I think it was a bit weaker in texture but overall, still very good.
-Duck Bulgogi (4/5): While this was the weakest dish in my opinion, the duck was still very tender and flavorful. I think it should have been served with some rice or something other than beansprouts.
-Spicy Fish Stew (4/5): Went very well with rice, very tender fish and clams but not enough to share with 3 people.
-Seafood Japchae (5/5): The heck did they do to make this Japchae so good? The octopus perfectly balanced the Japchae texture and it's a great level of spice.
The quality of seafood was overall excellent.
With two drinks it came out to roughly $75/pp.
I'd definitely come back if only for the soft shell crab, and highly recommend.”

“My boyfriend and I dined at the bar here on November 2. Food was great and the vibes were great. Alessandro, the owner, is very welcoming. However they didn’t serve us our bread and were going to serve it after the last course but I told them not to bother. They also were very slow to refill our waters. Other than that, it was great.”

“Delicious food although it's on the pricier side. I recommend you try Crying Tiger as your main dish. They close after lunch and open again at 5pm. The place fills up really quickly, so it's best if you reserve.”

“a truly excellent meal that was the highlight of our evening. Sophisticated enough for a beautiful date but casual enough to have a genuine, enjoyable time. I'll be thinking about the Uni Crispy Rice for many days. my only gripe was that the menu is a QR code, needing to use our phones. In an environment like this I would've preferred to not have my phone out at any point, but I will definitely be returning!”

“My wife and I generally eat for five people, we ordered 4 small plates and 2 mains, still looking into dessert. Each dish had its own layer of perfection with unique flavors and exquisite presentation. I’d say a restaurant on its way to becoming Michelin…..bravo! Oh and the ole school hip hop added to the vibe. Enjoyed this dinner date immensely!👏👏👏👏😍😍😍😎😎😎”

“This restaurant is built on a philosophy I want to applaud. Vegetable-forward dishes. Farm to table freshness. Clear expressions of flavour in each dish. And it works. This is fine dining that also puts you at ease as a customer. Service is polite, prompt, but never overbearing. The dishes like being reintroduced to old friends. Familiar flavours that are so much more alive than you expect. Delightful.”

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!”
