Monica Hickel made the booking experience easy and made sure that every request was met to ensure a perfect day for the bride to be. The room Monica put us in was well-appointed and beautifully decorated. The menu choices were outstanding and all of the food was well-prepared and delicious! In addition, the prompt and courteous service provided by the staff kept the bridal shower moving in the right direction at all times. It's hard to find a restaurant that understands "rare burger" but this place nailed it! The Pork loin sandwich was delicious with its homemade honey mustard that paired perfectly. Staff was wonderful and the wait was short. We will definitely be back and likely will become regulars to this family run establishment! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!“

“The most absolute amazing salad you can design. Trust me when I say put some hot purple rice in the bottom of the bowl and start building the rest! Fresh grated ginger is a game changer. Don't forget all the free extras by the cash register you can add on. In New Hartford the manager is Austin and he is absolutely incredible! He runs a wonderful establishment and is constantly helping his workers out. My friend and I go here every 3 weeks and have our favorite table we always sit at. Austin even remembers all my toppings all the way to the well done steak. Incredible service and atmosphere.“

“Eating at Ocean Blue is always a wonderful experience. Only one small issue- it's the first time I ordered a soup, my wife ordered a salad. They came out at the same time as the entree. We would have much preferred having the opportunity to finish our soup and salad prior to being served our entree.“

The food and drinks combine high quality ingredients with creativity and whimsy, all while still somehow giving you a sense of comfort food. It's hard to explain so just go try it! Oh and the icing on the cake is that the owners are incredibly kind of friendly and so helpful if you have any food allergies or specific food needs. “Myself and four friends went there for Friday fish fry. The service was prompt the place was very clean. Large selection of draft beer on tap as well bottled and canned beer in the coolers. We all ordered the Utica beer breaded fish fry. Cannot be more happier with their meal the fish was huge and lightly breaded. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Large selection of craft beers. I definitely will be back.“

“We made a last minute reservation because we had to change venues for a picky eater. We were celebrating my MIL's birthday. She had the ribeye and loved it. That's all that really mattered. We also ordered the burger, a pizza, chicken francaise and Tuscan chicken. Everything was delicious. We were early so the place wasn't too busy and the service was top notch! The waitress surprised us with a dish of ice cream with a sparkler in it for the birthday girl. It was so awesome! Great service!“

“This is one of the absolutely one of the most amazingly awesome-st bars not only in the state, but in the country - it's the oldest continuingly running bar in the county! An old water-hole overlooking on the now-long-gone Chenango Canal and then Railroad and therefore the Erie Canal routes between mines in Pennsylvania and Binghampton, New York and Chicago - it is the warmest dive bar you'll ever see. This is what it used to be like to get drunk in 1895. It was a local grocers store for a time being (think CVS, or gas station). Beer & drinks s*** cheap, easy drinks, run down stools, a sagging ceiling, awesome hard rock on the jukebox; baseball games on TV during $2 beer happy hour during the week, smoke station out back, you can even get cheap little take-away bottles of wine after liquor stores close. Worth a glass when you're giving your donkey a pit-stop.“

There's a cafe inside with ample seating and on (some?) weekends local bread maker vendors sell fantastic bread made from NY state grown wheat.“

“Love this place. I Never had a bad meal. The staff are pleasant. I go on my 30 minute lunch. I have time to eat and drive back to work. Today I had a tuna sandwich and a bowl of Homemade New England Clam Chowder. The tuna was white albacore (amazing) and the soup was delish. Prices are reasonable. I really didn't want to write this review as I am now afraid they will get busier and I will have to call my orders in but it is well deserved.“
