“This is one of the best restaurants in WNY, & the best vegan restaurant hands-down. All of their "meat" is made from scratch, in house, which I love not only because it's fresher and less processed than other vegan meats, but it also tastes INCREDIBLE. Their sauces are some of the best I've ever tasted anywhere. I highly recommend their version of the garbage plate because it comes with a lot & gives you a chance to sample a good portion of what they offer. The parm sandwich is also insanely good. I've loved everything I've tried here. The prices might seem high, but they're absolutely in-line with vegan restaurants & even more of a deal when you consider that they are making their meats & sauces totally from scratch, which no other vegan restaurant I know of does. If you're a foodie, you have to give this place a try - it's truly a culinary gem in WNY.“
“We had La Verdad catered to our office last week and the food was delicious. Insane mac and cheese, and the pulled pork and chicken were amazing too. The owner delivered the food for us and she was so sweet! We will definitely be ordering from La Verdad again! I almost forgot the desserts, but they are worth mentioning we had chocolate cake, a 7up bread and corn bread and they were amazing as well. Moist and Delicious“
“Great tasting smoked meats. This guy is for real. I had the pulled pork combo with baked beans and coleslaw, and it was incredible. The pulled pork was superb, and the baked beans had 3 different kinds of beans in it. Best I ever had. If I had 1 downside, it would be the bbq sauce. They use sweet baby ray's which is still good but I bet this guy could make his own sauce and it would be better to be honest I could have eaten it without sauce. The owners were very friendly and upbeat, and did I mention they gave me samples of the pulled pork and ribs to try, and had he not been sold out of brisket that would have been sampled also. This is now my go to spot for smoked bbq!!!!“
“We gathered for a party. There were over 50 people, outside at there tiki bar area, and outdoor seating. The bar tender did her best to keep up with orders of food and drink. The roast beef was absolutely delicious. The prices for everything are very reasonable. The only downside is the conditions of the restroom. ~We'd return again, if invited to another gathering there.“
