“Amazing food, super flavorful and very light feeling where you don’t feel gross after eating. Service was great shoutout to Rakesh, very kind and fast server. And the fact that it is HALAL on top it, incredible. I go to a lot of Indian restaurants and this is one of best places I’ve been to.“

“The best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. I have brought my whole crew of friends and family, and each one of them can’t stop talking about this place. The food is beyond flavorful and has gorgeous presentation. I would come back here in a heartbeat, always and forever.“

“We were in the city for 3 nights. I made reservations for the second and third nights. Left night one open. I found Saar online, it was less than a block from our hotel so we figured we'd give them a try. So glad we did. Nice place. Great, friendly service (Karim is the man!), and excellent food. I ended up cancelling the reservations I made for night 3 and we went back to Saar. Give them a try if you like Indian food. It was amazing!“

“We love dining or getting takeout from Indian Kitchen. All of the vegetarian and meat based dishes are exceptional. Everything tastes fresh and high quality. When dining in, the service is always superb. They give great recommendations and sometimes a free rice pudding :)“

“When I walked in the restaurant the delicious aromas let me know I made a good choice. The food was absolutely amazing with vegan/vegetarian options and even a complimentary gluten free appetizer. The staff was welcoming and the service great. The prices were reasonable, but the best part was the delicious food!!“

“It’s good mainly because it’s hard to get authentic bengali dishes in Nyc. They really need to tone down the heat level on certain dishes like the Phuchka and Chilli Chicken. If we speak about authenticity, most Calcutta restaurants do let you tone down the heat….even roadside Phuchka sellers.
The parantha was dry and hard. Everything else was as close to the authentic flavor as you can get outside Kolkata.“

“Small place but serves great food! Loved the biryani. Authentic dum, unlike the pilaw versions sold in most Indian places. We tried the goat biryani, chicken curry (Dum ka Murgh), and nan. Must say, we have been trying Indian places in midtown for nearly a month - this place is the only one that we would wanna go back to!“

“..most definitely the finest Indian cuisine I’ve tasted anywhere in my life. Menu takes some deciphering, but does not disappoint. Unique new school twists on your all time old school favorites. Chicken Tikka Masala on the menu is called (Madame Makhani), so you won’t want to miss that. The Don’s Lamb Chops, Rogan Josh, some rice and the Coconut Naan will complete your order and leave you amazed. Desert selections are also in code the menu, but the Cardamom Culfi (Handcuff) is a sort of ice cream the pairs excellently with the Gulab Jamun which is called (Masquerade Ball). This place is a must visit if you’re in Manhattan, NYC…and don’t be intimidated by the menu, the waiters are more than happy to help you crack the code.“

“A wonderful place with a creative menu. Very unique flavors. Try as many items as you can as each one is special. We went in a group and we were able to share and taste a variety of items. A very casual chic place, you don’t have dress up 😊. They had some original cocktails, adding a twist to the traditional ones. Definitely must visit. Be aware, you will need to make a reservation well in advance. They are popular and hard to get in.“

“We tried almost all of the small plates and large dishes. They were all hits with my favorite being the pulled lamb. The atmosphere is incredible and the chef stopped by our table multiple times to ensure we were having a stellar experience.“

“Passerine is one of those places you instantly want to tell your friends about. Elevated Indian flavors, beautifully done, but never fussy. Start with the small plates—hamachi crudo, roasted cauliflower, scallion uttapam—they’re creative and seriously delicious. Mains like the Naga pork belly or slow-roasted cabbage are rich, comforting, and full of depth. The cocktails are smart, the wine list is tight, and the whole place has that cozy-but-cool vibe“

“Went to Ishq on a Friday night at 10 PM. We made a reservation and we're running late but they were very welcoming nevertheless. The food was really tasty and we loved the jalebi Chaat, Andhra chilli gobhi and the paneer laung latta. The kala jamun tart was sweet but not too sweet! Overall we loved the placed!“

“What a great restaurant! If you like Indian Food, don’t hesitate to go! The food was AMAZING! They definitely know what they’re doing!!! We’ll be back!! I am adding to this review since I came back a lot sooner than I thought. Here’s what I had and it was amazing. Again, this such a great addition to our restaurant line up in the area. Don’t miss it. It’s great! must try the Atari paneer .“

“Overall, it was pretty good. Chili chicken momos were really good and stayed crispy even when cooked in sauce. The garlic naan was fantastic and very well made. The vegetable thali was overall really good, but the dal was a little bland, in my opinion. They're very generous with the amount of rice they give you.
I was a little disappointed by the tandoori chicken. It was a little underseasoned, and one of the pieces was very overcooked and dry. The butter chicken was made well and tasted alright; it was too sweet/not savory enough for me. Too much added sugar, personally.
Service was good.“

“Great food! Large portions, fair prices. Highly recommend. Ordered chicken, vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, samosas and naan bread. Main dishes come WITH plenty of rice. We have more than enough food for two leftover meals and will definitely be back for more after that.💕💕“

“This is some of the best Indian food I have ever had. The service wait time isn't long at all and the food is phenomenal. Also the man who served us was a very pleasant man. He was quick to respond to request and attentive. The price is also so affordable in my opinion in light of today's economy.
The atmosphere is cozy. Will definitely be back a third time! The music is pleasant the seating is comfortable. The decor is comfy too.
Ive had vegetarian and seafood here, both are delcious.
I don't often give 5 stars but this place I've visited twice in one week and was pleased both times. Needs to be a local favorite if it isn't already.“

“I live within walking distance from Cardamom restaurant and eat there often. The food is consistently excellent, and the people are always welcoming. Highly recommended! If you're not in the neighborhood, it's easy to get there on the subway (it's right between the 40th St. and 46th St. stations on the 7 subway line on Queens Blvd).“

“Went at 7:30 on a Wednesday. Place was empty, which made us a little nervous. We got the “sit them in the window so it looks like we have customers” seat.
If you’re after UK or New Zealand–style curry, this isn’t it. But give it a chance—it’s still good. Nothing was amazing, but everything was nice. The naan was warm, and the flavors were solid. The papadums were soft, which isn’t great—they should be crispy—but that was the only real miss.
The setting was nice, the service was nice, and honestly, for Hell’s Kitchen just off Times Square, the price was very reasonable.
They even gave us a free dessert—gulab jamun, those syrupy donut balls—which was a nice touch.
Nothing blew us away, but we had a lovely time and I’d definitely come back.“

“The food that I got for takeout was amazingly good!!!! I got the butter chicken, garlic naan bread, and gulab jamun. I also got the mango lassi drink, and it was really good too! Service was great, didn’t take long at all for my food to be made. Pricing is decently good too, not too expensive but also not too cheap. 10/10 overall experience with everything. I will come back here again for more takeout, but next time I’m trying the chicken biryani for sure!“

“Had dinner here with a friend and really enjoyed the meal. Saag Panner and chicken Korma were especially terrific. We ordered on appetizer that wasn’t what we expected and the owner and the chef came over and explained the dish and suggested an alternative which they gladly swapped out. Service was terrific. Personal and attentive. Definitely recommended.“

“This place in Queens was such a wonderful find! The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish packed with authentic Nepali flavors that felt like a true taste of home. Every bite was rich and satisfying, and you could tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff was also welcoming and attentive, which made the experience even better. If you’re craving real Nepali food, I highly recommend Red Panda—it’s a place that does justice to our amazing cuisine!“
