“This place always surprises me, in a good way. Always busy when we visit. Bumpers for the kiddos too. The food selection is awesome, they have a variety of choices from salads to burgers. I personally went with the chicken Caesar wrap-yum! They bring the food right behind where you bowl so you can snack, then play. Our lane had a slight computer malfunction, but they were quick to fix it. Fun, kid friendly atmosphere, we will definitely be back.“

“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“The Wren has some of the nicest people I have met in a long time. They accommodated my request for comfortable sitting and made sure I picked the table. I went for brunch and had the French toast, eggs scrambled soft with cheese, and bacon. Their bacon is thick and reminds me of home! I would recommend going for brunch and a refreshing drink. “I wouldn’t call Katana a dive bar, but on a Tuesday night it felt like a great neighborhood bar. Relaxed atmosphere. Was surprised at how small it was but that added to the chill vibe. I bet on a Thirsty Thursday and the weekend that all changes, but the bartenders and the craft cocktails will be just as great.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“I was very impressed, moonlighting in the bartender night life for the last 20 years. I normally don’t go out to bars. My sister and myself were down at Lenox hospital for our Dads surgery. One of the desk staff at Franklin Hotel recommended Penrose! The staff, manager and bartender were so friendly. I have to say I was very happy. “Highly enjoyed my first time at the happiest hour! Came here for my anniversary on a Monday night. It wasn’t very busy, due to it being a Monday, but food and service were both excellent! Great vibes all around. We both got the happiest meal with the double smash burger and fries, was seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had! They made the night very special for me and my partner. We ended up staying for nearly 4 hours till they closed! Will definitely be back!“

Amazing decor, great ambiance, it was packed and lively on a Saturday night around 10pm in contrast to the quiet streets of downtown brooklyn. We absolutely loved the Raspberry Shrub drink - the white vinegar added a little bit of a sour kick and made the cocktail one of the most memorable we’ve had. Super unique menu and fun food items.
