I left my debit card there for the second time in 3 weeks they called the bank and by the time I got to my house I got a call from the bank letting me know what I had done and I drove back and got my card. “I came in and it wasn't busy at 4:30 pm on a Wednesday.Cashier was nice and made a good recommendation.I got the romanburger and it didn't disappoint.I also got waffle fries (they call them waffers) with cheese sauce to dip it in (my first time dipping in cheese).It's definitely a fast food restaurant, so set your expectations accordingly, but overall I was impressed. “Ordered around 11:35am on line for a 12:30 curbside pickup I got there around 12:22 and asked if it was too early to pick up the order. They must have been busy I was on hold for a couple minutes the gentleman came out and asked if I was the one that ordered and he said that their computer system was down and they did not get any notification I showed him my copy he said okay give me a couple minutes and I'll bring it out stay right here about 10 minutes later he comes out brings me my order and everything was fine. Very friendly and polite I'll definitely order from there again.“

“First couple times at Mr Hero. Pickup up a Romanburger for a family member and the cheesesteak sub for me. Solid food. The veggied on the Romanburger were fresh and my family member loved it. The cheesesteak sub for me was great too. I like mushrooms and it had a lot of them. If you're not a mushroom fan you might have them go light on them, but I love them. The waffle fries were very good, and i liked them much better than the ones at a certain chicken chain. Note, This location is definitely setup more for takeout than dining in.“

“I live near Vermilion . I called this deli for assistance. My Aunt just died. I wanted to send her family food to ease their daily burden during this difficult time. This deli showed up and put out. They are compassionate understanding and showed up for my family. My family expressed to me how delicious everything was. If you are in need during a family life event you should consider this establishment. They truly, went out of their way to accommodate my family during a time of grief.“

“My Kids eat Subway 5x + a month for 3 years. The food is always 🔥 the staff is always polite , courteous, super fast, and obviously well trained. The store is always spotless. Now not getting a complaint in 3 years from my kids is a big deal considering complaining is just what they do. “We went to Penn Station in Avon tonight, where we met Logan. I haven't seen such genuine, friendly customer service in years!! We ordered a chicken teriyaki sub with ghost pepper cheese, a cheese steak sub with ghost pepper cheese, and fries. “The man that runs this establishment is one of the sweetest kindest men I have ever met in my life. It is one day before my pay day and i have overdraft protection that normally works. My children wanted Mr Hero and i only had 25 dollars. But i knew i get paid tomorrow so if my account goes negative it will be for less than 6 hours. Well my overdraft protection wouldn’t let the payment go through. I felt embarrassed and upset that they prepared food i couldn’t pay for. He didn’t make scene or cause a fuss. He took my 25 dollars and ask i come back and pay him tomorrow. Something most establishments wouldn’t do. I appreciate his kindness and will go in tomorrow and tip very well. Having your card declined is so embarrassing and he was so sweet about it. I will never go in anywhere thinking my bank had me covered ever again. But this was the kindest act I’ve seen in a long time.“

“The owner was absolutely amazing! My husband enjoys having staff fix up a veggie sub for him--their choice on what to add, etc. and the owner whipped up the best veggie sub he's ever had at a Subway restaurant.

The store was clean and well stocked. There was courteous staff who made suggestions for better deals from Subway for the choices we made for sandwiches. Had a great conversation and will definitely keep this location on our radar for when we pass through the area again.“
