“Such a great coffee shop! The Cafe de Olla is amazing, and the empanadas and guava rolls were equally as impressive! To top it off, the owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I mentioned that I had kids, and she took the time out of her day to show me around the building and told me all about the art museum’s exhibits (the cafe currently shares a space with the Cleveland Art Museum’s Community Arts Center) that she thought my kids might enjoy. I can’t wait to see all of the additional offerings when the new location opens!“

I don’t even drink coffee or tea so I go to interact with the friendly, kind and helpful staff, all of whom are such quality and fun people. It is clear that they love their jobs, work really well together, and want their customers to have a quality experience. “I went to Cleveland for my birthday and I love to just walk around new cities and try new coffee shops. We came across this shop and tried it out. I was expecting to get a coffee but a gentleman there stated that I should try to chai tea. Boy, was he ever correct. It had to be the most amazing chai tea I've ever had. It had a very smooth taste, with a nice hint of fresh ground cinnamon on top. Not overly sweet like a desert, but just right. The barista that works there was also very friendly and we chatted a bunch about a lot of cool topics. I definitely recommend it!“

“Worth the adventure to find it! I had a delicious vanilla matcha latte while I watched a lovely acoustic show by a couple very talented local artists. The owner is warm and welcoming. She has curated an intriguing selection of high quality books. The way she set up the store creates a cozy, intimate atmosphere for relaxing and reading. I recommend checking it out. A hidden gem!“

“The price was different than what’s posted online so that needs to be updated but what I got was a quality cup of oatmeal To-go. The fruit was fresh and she made the oatmeal consistency perfectly, added milk with no extra charge so to me it was worth $10 with all of that fruit. I’m here for a short work trip and I’m not finding quality in this part of downtown so it’s likely that I will be back here again. I also had a cortado earlier and it was perfection. On top of that the service was nice, they were friendly and kind, just what you need when you’re away from home.On another occasion I got breakfast and it was beautiful and cooked perfectly. I love this place and the two ladies who run it, they’ve grown warmer and more personable the more I frequent their cafe, I love their hospitality and I’m grateful for it.“

“The very name making reference to Wittgenstein’s duck-rabbit illusion, this place continues to impress and conquers any competition around Cleveland. Duck-rabbit’s light menu selection allows them to focus on delivering the highest quality beans with detailed origin information and flavor profiles. They moved the cafe location quite a few months ago and their new speciality coffee line is amazing. Additionally, the most recent coffee beans purchased from them in April 2022—Inmaculada Sudan Rume, Colombia—tasted divine! The industrial aesthetic makes it convenient to stop in a rush or to stay around awhile. This place will forever be one of my favorites. I am a vegan chef of sorts so the dessert pictured is made with duck-rabbit espresso beans.“

“A fellow attorney and I scheduled a settlement conference with our clients on a Saturday morning around the corner from the donut shop. She brought a dozen donuts. WOW, these were some delicious pillows of goodness. I had the maple bacon and a raspberry. It put all of us in a good mood. And yes we settled the case. I’m not saying the donuts did it, but those certainly helped. Fresh, tasty, and nutritious.“
