“The young man at the service counter had excellent customer service. He was polite and patient with a "needy" customer, and that was nice to see. The tuna wrap and the tuna sandwich that he made for us were done well. We could not have done anything differently, but maybe the bread toasted slightly better. “This is a tiny little shop that's been around for so long that is an institution in Coventry Village, on the same level as Tommy's. You can just feel how not-corporate they are, and I'm pretty sure that the owner works the counter, which I think is awesome. Their subs are all so good, and their bread is some of my favorite. A whole sub is a good investment if you want leftovers for the next day - it works out to around $6-7 a meal (for me at least). They have a drink fridge. There's no seating for dine-in, but they do have benches to wait - although I always prefer to drop into another store nearby and come back in a few minutes to pick it up.

Note that as of October 2024, the only credit/debit card they accept is Visa. It gives an option to tip on the card, so you don't need cash for that. I encourage tipping here, because the kitchen is open and you can really tell that they're working hard at it.

Vegetarian options: I forget which sub it is, but they have a mushroom sub that is absolutely delicious - one of the best veggie subs I've ever had. I'm not sure if have any vegan cheese, but let's be honest - why would anyone even want vegan cheese?“

“What can I say. I've always liked there Roman burger and fries. I always say no cheese on anything and they would repeat what I say but I some how I end up with cheese on my sandwich. I am lactose intolerant which makes it hard on my stomach.“

“I stopped by this past Tuesday, 3/5. The food was delicious and flavorful. I had the Italian sub and it was packed with fresh ingredients; not just bread. I was impressed with the two men working behind the counter. They were attentive, pleasant, were focused on their work, and checked up on me to see if everything was ok. It was more of a fine dining experience. The only thing missing were the white table linens.“

“The person serving us here was absolutely amazing. Full of life, spoke clearly, made me feel welcome and just nice to talk to (from the few exchanges we had from when I was ordering). I’m not sure exactly why I enjoyed talking to him so much, he just seemed like a great guy. “Got a medium corned beef and small onion rings. Menu says it comes with horseradish, doesn't say I have to pay.45¢ for less than a spoonful of horseradish, onion rings are 5. Paid over $22.00 for this and left a tip on top of that. Don't go out often and get food and I guess this is why. Extremely disappointed“

“2nd time here. 1st round, ordered God Father, AMAZING sub! Fella taking the order wasn't especially helpful, I let him know it was my first time there, so I didn't know the menu very well. Luckily a wonderful lady stepped up, and said something when she overheard. She was super kind and helpful. They always seem to be very accommodating to customers from what I have seen.

FYI* I get my sandwiches fairly plain, aside from signature oil, spinach leaves, but they will Load up toppings if u ask!

“So I ordered about 2 hours ago before coming back and my sandwich got made with the wrong topping. I'm not too mad about it because I love ordering from you guys and I also work at the Domino's in town so I understand things happen when you're busy. One thing that I wasn't happy with was watching a customer come in and pretty much flip out at the employees here for simply the way that they responded to her about her order. She simply couldn't understand things that can happen when businesses go through a lot of business in a short time span. The staff here is awesome and wonderful no matter what that lady says. “I placed an online order today and Subway didn't have the meatballs to complete my order. Instead of being lazy and cancelling my order, a young man called and advised me of the issue and gave me an option. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I got there, food was ready and packed. I've always liked this location. Everybody in there was on their job. Message to management: All workers that were in this Subway location at like 7:30 today (6/10/24) when I picked up my order deserve some type of accolade. “The chicken salad was delicious. A nice large amount was distributed. Chicken wells seasoned very good . I noticed the mushrooms were canned, not fresh. You can tell the difference. Instead of putting certain items on your salad, you may want it on the side, for example, jalapeno peppers, pickles, etc.. they will charge you for putting those items in a side cup. I didn't agree with that, the choice of salad dressings, you can get those on the side free. If you want an egg on your salad you have to pay for it. I've noticed lots of great things on the menu. I will continue to go back there and also try new things as well. The overall price, I think, is reasonable. The customer service was great and pretty fast.“

“I ordered via uber eats and the food was SO GOOD! I got a turkey sandwich fully loaded with veggies, a cup of potato soup and a bag of chips. Side pickle as well. The soup was nice and hot when it arrived, so flavorful but not heavy at all! The sandwich was packed with veggies and the bread was super soft. I got wheat bread. The turkey was almost shredded which I liked too. The quality of the food was amazing, taste was off the charts and the price wasn’t too bad at all! I will be coming here again!“

“If you want a great sub sandwich or great pizza, this is the place to go. Located across from ald's and the fire station on Euclid Ave in Willoughby ohio. If you are from the area, you probably remember "what about Bob's. They had the best sub on the crusty bread. They still do. The only thing I found wrong is that I asked for no hot peppers and they put them on. This just a minor thing because their sub was awesome. It's a small business that could your help so stop by and enjoy their food.“
