“this is the NASTY gyro I have EVER gotten .the meat has HUGE chunks the tomatoes , paper thin and the Shoe string fries HAD MORE OIL THEN POTATOES I will never again order a thing for. this place . it's Horrible!!!!!!!!! edit : the " manger". is extremely disrespectful! claims this is EDIBLE ( which it is not ! ) he claims he will refund money we shall see ! I can get better quality in a frozen Gyro kit then the quality I Experienced tonight in my 1st visit.. Edited: I wasn't gonna expose this place by name UNTIL NOW ! MAGIC CITY SUBS AND GYROS in fact dirty deleted their RUDE AND DISGUSTING comments to me on Fb before ,blocking me NO ! I ABSOLUTELY DIDN'T GET A REFUND this was my 1st experience at this establishment I don't get to experience things as I wish I could do YES this was my 1st time ever ordering food from Magic City Subs and gyros The HUGE chunks of pink meat was DISGUSTING to look at the texture was horrid The fries aren't freshly cut ! But to top off the crappy food ! Let's take a moment to put the spot light on the OWNER! Blaming THE CUSTOMER For their failing business.. So because he's a Small business owner ! I'm somehow supposed to just HAND HIM MY MONEY on un edible food ? I would never again !!! Order or recommend this PLACE in fact with the poor quilty of food and service I'm thinking an official complaint should be sent to the HEALTH DEPARTMENT! Do not gaslight magic City Subs and gyros Your poor quality isn't a ME problem, Know better ?. Do better !“

“I ordered the Roman burger and my wife ordered a traditional Italian the Roman burger was spectacular it was like a Philly cheese steak sandwich but with a three pepper sauce. And the traditional Italian has everything but mayonnaise on it. I placed a to go order and only waited about 20 minutes so quick it's amazing 👏 I loved that it was only about 19 and some cents in change so awesome 👌 when looking for affordable lunches. The shop was by far the cleanest I've been to in a while and very friendly joking in a friendly way having fun with the customer making them laugh I love that. They may need to add more desert choices sides but I am not complaining.“

“Normally the subs are great here. But today we got a bad one. My sub only had part of a have slice of tomato on it very few green peppers or onions. And the bread. was hard, like it was either stale or toasted. And I did not order it toasted. And the sub was dry. And the sub, my wife got was just as bad“

I ordered on the app and got a BOGO free coupon for any sandwich.
It said they offer curbside pickup so you don’t have to get out of your car, just have to call when you arrive, so I did and the guy on the phone was so rude, huge manager finally brought my food out and I said “thank you, have a good one” and he just glared at me and walked away. Didn’t say a word.“

“This was our first visit. My daughter loves subs and wanted to eat at Penn Station for her birthday. The food was excellent, and the staff was very patient with us fumbling through our order. Most of us got small subs, fries, and a drink, and it was more than enough to get full. (My husband got a large and couldn't finish it.). I would definitely recommend this place if you like subs!“

“I stopped in for lunch and was very impressed with both the staff and the food. The team was extremely welcoming and helpful, especially when I couldn’t decide what to order. One of the employees kindly recommended a few options and guided me toward the Spicy Nacho Chicken Sub, which turned out to be an excellent choice. They were also accommodating when I requested extra toppings, which I truly appreciated.
Unlike experiences I’ve had at other locations, the service here was friendly, attentive, and genuine. The food was delicious, and the store itself was clean and inviting. I’ll definitely be returning to this location whenever I’m craving a sub!“

“I’m not a huge fan of subway! But it is nice to have something a little fresh if in a rush or need something for lunch or a quick dinner. Personally feel like the iceberg lettuce is toxic (a prior employee did tell me that there lettuce came in pink before) think it was the spray they use. But back to the review - cashier was super kind! Some topping were in the other toppings area , which makes me worry sometimes, but all in all was a good veggie sub.“

“This is one of the redecorated modern Subway restaurants. Very clean, very bright. Food was as expected for a Subway. Service was good.
Parking: Large shopping plaza, so plenty of parking. But it's a bit unclear where to enter the lot from Hawkins (not the restaurants fault).“
“I’m not someone who normally writes reviews, but what happened to me at the Jimmy John’s on [insert location] deserves to be shared with the world.
I recently lost my brother, and the grief has been overwhelming. On one of the worst days, when I truly shouldn’t have been out in public, I walked into Jimmy John’s completely falling apart. I was crying, shaking, and honestly just trying to breathe.
Most people would have ignored me — or pretended not to notice.
But George, working behind the counter that day, didn’t look away.
He looked right at me and gently asked if I was okay. And it wasn’t the polite, automatic kind of question people ask when they hope you’ll say “I’m fine.” It was sincere. It was human. It was someone seeing me when I felt invisible.
When I told him I wasn’t okay, he didn’t judge, didn’t rush, didn’t brush me off. Instead, he softly asked if it would be alright for him to give me a hug. I said yes — because in that moment, I desperately needed that human connection.
He hugged me.
He prayed for me and my family.
He made me feel held, seen, and supported in a way I didn’t even realize I needed.
I walked into Jimmy John’s broken, but I walked out feeling just a little less alone. And sometimes, that tiny bit of comfort is everything.
The food was great, of course — but this review isn’t about sandwiches.
It’s about George, and the kind of compassion you can’t train into someone. Jimmy John’s, please recognize the incredible person you have working for you. He didn’t just serve a customer that day.
He helped carry a grieving woman through one of the hardest moments of her life.
And I will never forget him for that.“

“We've come here multiple times after having issues at the Fair lawn location. The owner of this franchise always takes the time to chat with us, staff know our orders by memory despite there being a month or more between visits, and the food is great. The seating is a bit cramped for my group, and it can be a bit pricey, but still one of the best cheesteak spots around“

“Thank goodness for Latisha! We had made an online order to another store, they delivered half the order in which we were missing the main platter for an event. We were having at 5 PM. We didn’t find this out until about 1:30 PM – 2 PM. I called Subway and got Latisha and told her what we needed and less than 60 minutes she created enough mini subs to feed 50+ people! She saved our day for sure!“
