“Stopped by Sunday 10/22 after reading the November 2023 Cincinnati Magazine Article on the restaurant.We had lumpia, fried tofu, fried tilapia and escabeche pompano with side of garlic rice. All dishes were excellent. Excellent flavors and fish was cooked just right without being overcooked.Kris (owner) was a pleasure to chat with and we will definitely be back. I want to try to tocilog and lechon kawali :)“

“Excellent scratch-made food. Super friendly staff. Fire roasted tomato salsa, chicken fried chicken dinner, pot roast, steak salad. These are a few of my favorite things. “This was the most fun I’ve had in a long time! Great food, great atmosphere, great service!! I had the prime rib and it was fantastic. The sides were awesome too! My date had the salmon and loved it! Prices for drinks were reasonable and cheaper than expected. The singers were amazing and the conductor was incredible. We were in the silver sword car and it was the best! I cannot wait to do this again. Money well spent!!!“

“It was a little rocky at first. We were sat at a booth on the patio and even though the covers were on, it didn't stop that wind from biting.Luckily for us, we had a waiter that understood and he was able to move us to another table in his section.I gave 5 stars based on the service. We had an overall good experience. ?Vegetarian options: Bang bang taco and a few others.“

“I ordered a burger with bacon jam, fries, wings, and drinks to go. ALL the food was packaged beautifully and the food was hot and fresh. The space itself is clean and the service is impeccable. I appreciate the fact that the owners provide biodegradable to go containers and cutlery. Above all, this is the best food I have had in the city! I can see the owners take pride in the work they do because it shows in every aspect of good plates eatery.“

“Our experience from the moment we walked in was fabulous. Our bartender was delightful and friendly. Our server, Parker, knew the menu well and was able to describe the specials and regular menu items. Service was fast, friendly, but not rushed in any way. My friend got the salmon and I had the fish special of the day. The special was elegant, flavorful and beautifully presented on the plate. It had been a while since I'd been here and now I remember, once again, why I love this restaurant so much.“

“I can honestly say my husband and I stop here every time we’re nearby. We need to own one haha! I usually make my own bowl (vegan) and my husband loves the Bangkok bowl. We really like the smoothies and quesadillas too.Vegetarian options: Vegan options as well for the dressings“

“Stepped in today for some pupusas and let me tell you they didn't disappoint. Cheese Pupas was mt favorite but the chicharron pupusa was also good. The place is big, well lit, and nicely decorated. The place was a little dirty and the waitress seemed to be in a bad mood. I only saw 2 people working the front of the restaurant the waitress and a busboy. I'd recommend the pupusas to everyone and hopefully the service can improve.“

“This place is just wonderful. Great beer - you gotta try the Neapolitan Barrel Aged Stout. Delicious! The variety of beer is top notch too.We brought in three families and a boatload of kids and they were so patient and accommodating. Kids food came out quick! Our food was delicious.One of our favorite spots!“

“The fat Al was really good. The chicken was honestly better than the burger, but together it was fantastic. Added a lot of salt. Has a tangy sauce on it and they toast the bun (looks burned but it still tasted great). Fries were a tad papery - may have been because I went at an odd time. Still really good. It's in the food kitchen and there are tables around the building to eat at, but I would try to take it outside. If you are eating solo it will be too much to get a meal and try any other places though. I did go at an off time but they made all the food fresh right in front of me. Took some time but was worth it. Too expensive for me to be a regular but I'm glad I tried it once!“

“My friend and I magically stumbled upon this bar and I feel robbed that we just found it! It is beautiful on the inside with quality drinks and food. Highly recommended it. The bathrooms are also amazing, you have to go to know what I mean.“

“This was our first time at Parkside. I enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere and The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We ordered the burgers, fries and salads. All the food was delicious and served quickly and hot. The place was very busy but neither service nor food reflected that. We will definitely go back.“

“Stop by to get some "Caribbean Cuisine" Brian has the absolute best oxtails in the city and look at this jerk chicken it is absolutely delicious! “The point in me posting is call first if you are coming for gluten free bakery items. I'm not going to destroy their stars because I didn't stay and eat, but I can't speak for the food. I'm sure everything is delicious, the cafe is seriously cute. Everything smelled good. I swung by (around 1 pm) to buy gluten free bakery items. I've been trying to make it here for months, since I heard about it and the OTR store is closed right now. I live in Kentucky and was visiting a relative in Fairfield, so this store was kind of on the way in an out of the way way. They were completely sold out of all gluten free bakery items and I can't partake in the others. Early bird gets the bakery items. If I was eating in, there were items I could have eaten on the menu. The human speaking to me was super kind and apologetic. I didn't have time to stay and eat pancakes, etc... so my bad.Dietary restrictions: Gluten sensitive“

“First time getting Currito. It was good. really filling but I’m not a fan of the portions that I received. I understand business and food industry when it comes to portions and costs (as I’ve previously worked within food industry) but I was unfortunately let down — Then it becomes the question of , is it worth paying “x” amount for this when you could get more for your dollar at another said business. Other than that, I have no issue! The mango salsa was delicious !“

“The food was absolutely amazing. My Butternut squash soup was different in taste, but still good. I had the shrimp and grits, and it was delicious. My only negative takeaway was that the server seemed to be in a hurry. As soon as our drinks came, she immediately asked for our dinner meals. She never filled my water or asked. At one point, after she quickly delivered and picked up our checks, she took my water that I was still drinking and never asked if I was finished or needed a refill. Situational awareness was not a strong suit, but I'm hoping that she slows down and makes the experience for guests personable and not rushed.“

“Wow, was really impressed with Gilligan's! The Ruben burger and the Ruben sandwich were phenomenal and sweet potato fries were amazing. Best of all for us, all gluten free with ample gluten free other options. Will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available!“
