“I'll be honest, we almost left. We had a reservation for 8:30 and were met with others waiting for the same time reservations. The patrons were polite and realized others were waiting. This is a small restaurant, but also fits the Italian vibe, it's meant to. With that said, the service was great, the food was amazing. They did forget our drinks we ordered for dinner, but small thing. Just be prepared to wait a little longer for your reservation, but I'm glad we didn't end up leaving.“

“We went to Peruviano for the first time tonight and we will definitely return. Both the service and the food was fantastic! We had the beef hearts and octopus for appetizers. For mains, my husband had the Aji De Gallina and I had Sudado de Pescado. I didn’t want any rice and was given the option of asparagus instead. The fish and asparagus were both cooked to perfection. My husband loved the chicken and enjoyed the fried cassava so much he asked for an order to take home. Portion sizes are generous. Looking forward to returning!“

“Your spaghetti and meatballs is the one of the only things I ever tried until today. We ordered pizza and not only did you give us an extra pizza because the first one didn’t work out out you gave us hot food. Both our pizzas were perfect and literally the best pizza I have ever eaten. Thank you for being open and always having the best food every time.“

“Kid friendly. They always welcome us warmly. The brunch food is fantastic! Bright and spacious yet still has a cozy feel. The avocado toast and the chicken & waffles (especially the waffles) are personal favourites. Though I have good things to say about the benny as well.“

“The restaurant was small and had reservations but I was able to sit at bar. The serving staff stood by their chef/ cooks abilities and made recommendations that were on the money. The wait staff all assisted on my needs and I was helped by 3 staff throughout my meal. The cheese cake was awesome and homemade on location. Solid portions and kind attentive staff. “AMAZING! Came here for a friend’s birthday at 1AM and even though the staff and kitchen were in the process of closing, they served us with amazing care and hospitality and let us dine in! “Absolutely DELICIOUS pizza. Probably the best I have ever had in Hamilton. So simple but so delicious and flavourful. We did the pepperoni and margherita , and both were fabulous. Drinks were great, service was friendly and quick, atmosphere was warm and inviting, making for a lovely night. Highly recommend.“

“This is a hidden gem in East Hamilton - best way to spend a Friday evening is having a ball with the whole fam.Also, we bought a few frozen bags because it’s such an easy thing in the middle of the week to pop a few of these in the air fryer or the oven.“

The food and drinks surpassed my expectations; the espresso martini creamy I ordered was absolutely amazing, a solid 10/10. We started with the fried calamari, which I would rate an 8/10, very crispy and loved the sauce it came with. Then, we ordered the four cheese gnocchi and the La Regina pizza, both earning a perfect score of 10/10. Dessert was tiramisu, also a delicious 10/10, accompanied by an espresso.The total bill for our three-course meal for two, including drinks, was $105. The price perfectly aligns with the quality of the food and drinks; it was truly some of the best I've ever had. I really really recommend the dishes we had too. Although the restaurant is on the smaller side and parking can be challenging due to its location in a busy area, the outstanding food and the friendly service from our waiter, Liz, made it an unforgettable experience. “Tonight was our second time at Barbara Cafe and our experience both times has been amazing. Great food, great service. Our only regret is that we did visit sooner! The menu as well as the nightly specials are incredible and the desserts are such a nice size that you can sample several things without feeling like you over indulged. My 90 yr old father in law felt quite at home in this space and the serving staff made him feel like a million bucks by taking the time to listen to his requests and make suggestions. “What a great place. We are from out of town and were looking for something authentically italian while in Hamilton. At first glance it is a bit sketch due to the area and being on one of the main streets in the downtown area, but we were pleasantly surprised once inside. It is quaint and not the cleanest as the washrooms could use a little love, however the food and the service was fantastic. We had the ceasar salad (amazing - the bacon bits and croutons were still warm!), Manicotti and Tagliatelle Alfedo with shrimp, both extremely light and flavourful. The house wine was lovely for a house wine and the flat bread they bring at no charge was fresh and delicious. We will definately be back!“

“The waitress was very friendly while I was taking my seat. I ordered takeout & decided on either veal or chicken parmajan (surprise me) & enjoyed a nice cold draft beer while waiting. lol been a while since I had a draft...When I arrived home, it was still pretty hot & the "veal" (thank you ?) was big & yummy!My son & I split it. It's enough for 2 if you add 2 proper size salads to go with it. Their house dressing was good, just not enough in takeout containers, ask for 2. Plus, get more sauce, ask them for a side of it so it doesn't make your meat soggy. Our sauce was in one area, which made the breading soaked.I just scrapped it off 1st. Lol. Then we needed more sauce... hahahaha ?So, yeah, I'd recommend Bronzie's to others & I'll go back there next time I'm by there to try something else. It wasn't anything that couldn't have waited, nor was it polite to do...The waitress did apologize for that, and I appreciated her for it. Just seemed like the regulars didn't want others there, taking up the staff's time. The poor waitress was trying to hold down conversations with people & her job. Tough times & and it'd be hard to remember it all... ??I was sitting at my table, enjoying my draft, when some man came & sat with me. Not a word until I spoke. Lol... Nice enough fellow, I suppose ? “Food was really good! Ordered from the special menu, got the vodka pizza and the steak frites, Pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had. Steak was a little tough considering the $55 price tag but the flavour was there. Dessert was also super good, donut was an absolute hit, crispy but so moist on the inside. Will definitely visit again!“

“I had a great experience tonight at a meet up event. My friend and I shared a large 14" pizza which has 8 slices. It was pretty tasty but a little on the toasty side. We also shared Brussels sprouts, which were delicious. I had a perfect cocktail for a reasonable price. The upstairs has arcade games. We all had a great time. Service was great. Vibes were excellent. I would consider hosting an event there as well. P.S. They have a vegan menu and a regular menu. There's something for everyone.“

“Pizza was perfect, paper thin and the sauce tasted especially good. Fresh bread with olive oil, pepperocino, and parmesan was especially delicious. I also got a pepperoni calzone which was amazing. I've been here before, and the quality has improved so much since then that I was seriously shocked when I visited today expecting a decent but not special meal and got a perfect 5 star experience. “Tried Buona Vita today after looking at some of the positive reviews. Service was ok and the pizza was made on time. The crust was probably the best part of the pizza, light, crispy and had a bit of a chew to it. The toppings and cheese were a good amount, and the bacon and pepperoni were great, however was not too fussy of the Italian sausage. The sauce was probably an area for improvement, tasted rather bland and not much of anything else. The price was reasonable, yet a bit on the higher side for a large. Overall a well made pizza, and seemed like all ingredients were fresh. Worth a taste of you are in the area.“

“We love LaPadella. They are the friendliest people and we love sampling their dishes. Last week got the last table on a Saturday night with no res. Love the bread and olive oil mix, drinks are full pours and perfect, and the food ....meatballs, veggie flatbread, escarole soup meatball and arugula salad and the pasta and seafood were all delicious. Such a nice spot with perfect service. Glad to live so close.“

“My wife and I as well as our daughter and granddaughter went here for dinner. Parking is okay if you are early otherwise street parking will be necessary. We were seated promptly. The waitress was very nice and friendly. She came over and introduced herself and of course asked about drinks as she gave each of us water. She was very pleasant and helpful with the menu. My wife and I hadn't eaten here in many years and were unfamiliar with the food choices. She helped us through the menu and then gave us time to look through it in more detail. We ordered our food and we're pleased that it came fairly quickly. The food was hot and delicious. The waitress was very attentive and brought drink refills when we were low. This was a great experience and we will be returning. Staff were friendly even if they were not serving us. Friendly smiles and acknowledged our presence, which doesn't happen at all restaurants.“
