“My partner and I picked up a gluten-free dinner set (takeaway) and, oh my, it was delicious and the portions were huge. The set could easily feed 8 people. The general tao chicken and the chicken fried rice were my favourite parts of the dinner set. Finding a celiac-safe Chinese restaurant is rare. They’re able to make GF modifications to many dishes too - just ask! We will be back and I’m excited to try more items from the menu.“

“We experienced a fabulous luncheon buffet at the Oshawa Mandarin restaurant today. The food was well prepared, displayed and very delicious. LOTS of variety! We live nearby so picked it up and paid cash as you get a free menu item over a certain amount if you do this. “we ordered takeout food here a few days ago, our food was ready quickly even though they were very busy. We left, got home and realized they had forgotten to include the rice we ordered. I called them and the owner said they realized it was still there in the kitchen but we had left. It was very busy, phone and walk in customers, so we totally understood. They were very apologetic and said could we come back, we were 25 min away, so we couldn’t. They took our number and we went back again, got another dish and our rice. Each time we got food that was delicious and hot, very piping hot and good size portions. We will be back.“

“We have been eating here for over 6 years. There may have been something that wasn't perfect a time or two but like tonight most times it was awesome. Only complaint. They changed their deep Fried shrimp to Breaded shrimp which just aren't good. But do not mistake the food rocks“

“I would’ve loved to give them a 5 star because it was overall the best Chinese food I’ve had in Oshawa in a long ass time. But it took me close to 2 hours to get dinner for 5 of us. Online said 50mins for delivery ordered at 5:09pm but showed up at 7pm a little long for a weekday and a restaurant that’s only 11 min drive from me. If it didn’t take so long I’d given you a 5 star.“

“I would go here for satisfy the Chinese food craving. But I would skip the egg roll (soft and mushy) and the lo mein. Chicken balls and chicken fried rice were excellent. Spring roll was good too. I got a meal for 2 with extra spring roll and it was less than $40 and fed two of us two full meals. I'd go back. They're always friendly, every dish I've tried is incredibly tasty (my go tos are the chili or Manchurian tofu/paneer, spicy green beans, masala paneer and any of the noodle dishes), there's plenty of veggie options, and the prices are very reasonable. You won't be disappointed eating here! 🙂“

“It’s hit or miss, but when these guys decide to cook up a delicious meal, they deliver. My only feedback is that they need more flavour in their rice. Maybe a little oyster sauce and sesame oil? It’s very bland tasting.General Tao chicken (although I think they recently changed the coating), Singapore noodles (needs a little more curry but the shrimp is always cooked to perfection) and mushroom egg foo young are the best around.“
