“Love the build your own platter concept of this place. Basically, Ako allows you to mix and match the sushi, sashimi and maki you're craving and charges based on the number of different items you get. Mega bonus points for this!

After looking over all the options, I chose salmon sashimi, octopus sashimi, and bbq eel sushi. Quality was pretty good, cuts were thick, and the value was insane!

Place is takeout. People are super friendly. Prices are amazing based on the quantity you get. Definitely recommend this place if you want to pick and choose good sushi without breaking the bank.“

I ordered the Osmanthus tea with almond milk, which had a nice flavor but was a bit too sweet for my taste, as the sugar level can only be adjusted to “less” rather than eliminated entirely.

This was my second visit, and I’d be happy to return to try a different flavor—ideally one with a stronger tea presence and less emphasis on milk and sweetness.“

I recently visited Kome Yogurt in Toronto, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The Lychee Lover yogurt drink was fresh, delicious, and the variety of toppings allowed for a truly customized treat. We also grabbed the Crab Onigiri which was delish!

“I lined up to try a nut cream sample at Vegandale and ended up getting the fair special of a chocolate cream pistachio matcha and oh my glob it was good. The cream isn’t too sweet and actually a little salty but the flavours and textures are incredible. They give you a wooden paddle so you can eat some of the cream off the top, then stir the rest into your drink for a creamy, rich treat. This is the most decadent whipped cream and far surpasses any dairy variety I’ve had in the past. It’s incredible. I will be dreaming about this stuff.“

“Nice and standard Gong Cha but with very friendly servers and a nice pleasant seating area. Much nicer than the North York one because the air circulation here feels fresher. New location too. Not too busy but parking can be tricky when the streets are a bit busy.“

But what I do think is horrible is how this location allows their staff to work under grueling conditions , especially during a heat wave that is currently 43 degrees. A simple fan does not suffice and Im sure fresh fruit makes more then enough revenue to provide safe and comfortable working conditions. Not sure what they do differently than the other stores but I have come back to midland for this drink alone and consistently get the same result!
