“Fat Pasha is a gem — delicious authentic food, excellent drinks, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable and welcoming dining experience.

We had an incredible experience at Fat Pasha, sharing a variety of appetizers and mains family-style, and everything was delicious. The Whole Roasted Cauliflower was a showstopper — beautifully prepared, flavorful, and so satisfying. The Fattoush Salad, Classic Hummus, Muhammara, and Garlic Labneh were all fresh, vibrant, and authentic, each dish offering its own depth of flavor and balance.

For drinks, I tried the Pemgroni and the Date Old Fashioned, both unique, well-crafted, and perfectly suited to the meal. Everything we ordered was filling, thoughtfully made, and clearly prepared with care.

What truly stood out, beyond the food, was the service. The staff were warm, kind, and incredibly helpful, especially accommodating with the three children we had with us, which made the evening even more enjoyable.“

We dropped by tabile bayview village at lunch. We selected to sit to their patio because it was quieter than the dining room.
The service was excellent and we chose their lunch formula. A fatouch, a selection of apetizers, the chich tawook plate and the salmon BBQ plate.
With no exception every thing tasted amazing, delicious and tasty. Seasoned properly and prepared with live.
I have to highlight the rice that was among the best I have ever tasted.
As for the service and the friendly staff; this place is managed and ran by the most lovable people in the industry.

The Tameya (falafel) was crispy and flavourful. The Beef Hawawshi was juicy, though the bread was a bit too soft and soggy for me. The tahini and sauces were excellent.

Simple menu, fair prices, and friendly service overall — though for a birthday table, you’d expect a bit more attention.

As a meat lover, I wish there were more options, but overall, a solid choice for casual Middle Eastern food.“

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

I will add something to this by saying that it doesn't have to be in your kitchen at home or by eating bland and boring food! I had the opportunity today to pass by and visit my old friend Johnny at his shawarma restaurant on Kennedy Road not far off the 401... @johnnysshawarma is consistently ranked in the top handful of shawarma restaurants in the city and I can honestly say that I've never had better shawarma anywhere (not even when visiting Israel!)... And that says a lot considering with my middle eastern roots (my Dad was from Egypt) this is one of my favorite foods as it's delicious as it is nutritious especially when given the option to swap out the starchy carbs like the insanely good rice and potatoes with equally amazing salads and dips...
