“This ain't a sandwich, it's two meals in one.

The car park is a bit tight considering all the traffic but worth it to get in. The place was compact but had a tonne of character, with a proper spread of Italian goodies. The service was quick, wonderful and even made modifications on the fly just to up the flavor. That's some wonderful service.

I got the Joey D's specialty and man it's special. Those cold cuts were thin and stacked so they basically melted away. The olive spread was almost like a muffuletta, bringing that tang in there. The bread was soft but strong enough to hold everything together. Fresh veggies. Right amount of Mayo. Absolutely no complaints.

The family owned Italian bakery has some of the best chicken and veal sandwiches with authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming environment running by the store owner mother, father and son who treat you like their own the second you walk in the door to the smell of fresh coffee and fresh homemade pastries! Highly recommend especially their veal!“

The Insalata di Rucola Tartufata was fresh and fragrant, the Calamari Fritti perfectly crisp, and the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola rich and comforting. The Risotto ai Porcini was the highlight, full of deep earthy flavor and cooked to a perfect creamy texture. I finished with a cappuccino and a slice of carrot cake, both excellent. Even though seating is first-come, first-served, the hostess didn’t keep us waiting long, which we really appreciated.

Service was great. Jake took our orders, and it seemed like a very team-oriented environment since other servers also helped bring out our food.

Everything we ordered was delicious! Some of us had the veal marsala, spaghetti alla carbonara, chicken parmigiana, and we shared the cheese pizzas, garlic bread, the chef salad (amazing!), calamari with marinara sauce, and the house wine.

“Was my second visit and I decided to try the Vancouver pizza which is a vegan option made with vegan ruffle oil and vegan mozzarella cheese along with eggplant. Being a non vegan, I honestly could not tell that the cheese was vegan as the flavour profile was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend it. Had the Pinot Grigio with lunch and it was a great accompaniment to the pizza. Got the chocolate cake with mascarpone along with a cappuccino to finish off the meal. Had to have a second cappuccino as it was just that good! The server was friendly and did a great job at taking care of our group of five.“

“Cusshi was very Helpful after realizing an Uber eats driver may have pocketed a couple cans of rootbeer and garlic bread. First time I called I was greeted with a young man who decided to hang up on me- but because 3 of the 4 root beers was missing 1 child was happy the other 3 not so much so awkward dinner convo for sure . None the less CUSSHI saved the day and for that she gets 5 stars

“The restaurant seats about 10 people. It’s acquaint little place but boy does it have great pizza and cappuccino’s best of both worlds!!
We got the Calabrese and we added mushrooms and it was excellent!! didn’t snap a picture sadly cause I was busy scarfing it down with my wife. She loved it too! I’ll definitely be back for another pizza soon. “I go to this ONE particular Pizza Nova because I ALWAYS get great pizza from them, I either get a slice of pepperoni, where they make their own, and eat it there or on the run. This time around, I was leaving Toronto after my long birthday weekend, and I always get a "large" pepperoni to take with me for the long drive home. I only had one slice out of the pie while on the road, but it heats up awesomely!! I heat it up a day after I got home and it tasted fresh like they just made it for me. Great price as well.“
