“We heard good things about Buon Giorno so decided to check it out. It's a super small restaurant in a plaza that can be easy to miss - make sure you don't. It is truly authentic Italian cuisine. It's not the place to go for a fancy meal. Instead, it's where you go to taste real Italian cooking, fresh from the Nonna's hands herself. I'm not kidding. There was three generations of family working there who are eager to please you with amazing service and fantastic flavours. The food is fresh, wholesome and made with love.

Veal, chicken cutlets, beef all can be had with sides or in a sandwich. They had pizza and pasta and meatballs of course also. It all looked and smelled incredible in the hot table.

My mother and I arrived there just before lunch and it wasn't long before the place was packed. Obvious that a lot of the blue collar workers loved coming in for their huge sandwiches. There was a couple tables inside and a couple picnic tables outside.

My mother's meal was hot, tasty, full of flavour and the meat she said was super delicious and tender. My mortadella & salomi sandwich was delicious with simple and fresh ingredients. The bun was super fresh too which is always nice.

If I wanted to show someone true Italian cooking, this is the first place I'd take them. Simple, wholesome, amazing food and top-notch service. The manager made us feel relaxed like he was serving us in his own home. Much appreciated.

“Cusshi was very Helpful after realizing an Uber eats driver may have pocketed a couple cans of rootbeer and garlic bread. First time I called I was greeted with a young man who decided to hang up on me- but because 3 of the 4 root beers was missing 1 child was happy the other 3 not so much so awkward dinner convo for sure . None the less CUSSHI saved the day and for that she gets 5 stars

Very clean, open space, Italian decor. Place even has a beautiful colourful patio to sit outside. Great addition to our South Etobicoke Queensway and islington neighbourhood. We always love supporting local businesses. Chris was extremely nice and friendly. I highly suggest coming here for a quick bite. Reasonable prices, fresh Pizza. Great quantity and quality overall. “I go to this ONE particular Pizza Nova because I ALWAYS get great pizza from them, I either get a slice of pepperoni, where they make their own, and eat it there or on the run. This time around, I was leaving Toronto after my long birthday weekend, and I always get a "large" pepperoni to take with me for the long drive home. I only had one slice out of the pie while on the road, but it heats up awesomely!! I heat it up a day after I got home and it tasted fresh like they just made it for me. Great price as well.“
