However, there’s almost no food, desserts, or sandwiches available, which is probably why there aren’t many customers. With the right menu and concept, this place could easily become popular. “The most delicious rice balls, I have ever eaten and I am a foodie and Japanese Canadian. The rice was cooked perfectly and the filling was delicious and plentiful. A delicious lunch. I think I will pick up a few more for my trip today. The owner was super nice and encouraged me to stay and work on my laptop for a few hours.“

“💜📍 • Had such a great experience at this dog-friendly cafe, Dopapen! When we walked in there was flowers and art all around and since it was the afternoon it wasn’t packed.

This cafe can get busy and for a good reason.

The barista was so friendly and when we mentioned we may grab snacks, she brought us some of her own to share. So sweet and thoughtful.

The drinks were original and tasted great as well. So thankful that oat milk is available as well for anyone that has dairy allergies.“

“It's a little hard to locate in the plaza, but it is a FIND. The baby shower cupcakes looked exactly like the photograph and they were in clever boxes so that nothing was damaged. Frosting tastes great. And the lovely manager packed a single cupcake for me!“

“Great coffee, prompt service. If you are looking for good coffee in the area, whether it’s a fresh cup or freshly roasted beans, this is the place to go. I like it that they added pastries and gelato. They also sell coffee brewing accessories from pour overs to coffee mugs. I just wish they open earlier and close later.“

“Had the chance to try this bakery’s most popular cake. It’s called the Ovaltine Crispy Chiffon Cake. It was light, fluffy and not too sweet. The Rosemary decorations when eaten with the cake, adds another dimension to the taste.
This was purchased by someone in the party I attended recently. I noticed, I was not the only one that enjoyed the cake. Apparently, it was purchased from a bakery where the food court is located.
The owner was quite friendly as I inquired about the bakery. Price $25 as per the bakery’s website. They even provided 1 candle with the cake. Not sure if it was included in the price or not.

“Cozy cafe with lots of options for coffee lovers! There is more seating at the back of the cafe that can’t be seen from the store front that offers desk working space and outlets. They had a projector set up during our visit with a winter lodge setting projected that made the space so cozy! Please note that they do have a 1 hr seating limit which is more than enough time to enjoy the space and ambience of the cafe :)“

“Definitely my favourite coffee roaster. I drink my coffee black and Social coffee beans have the exact flavours that I love. My favourites are the light roasted Ethiopian varieties but lately I have also really enjoyed the espresso roasts from Costa Rica and Papua New Guinea. I highly recommend their coffee.“

“Gate girll and gate cafe is both the same. I'll start by saying the staff are very nice but it did take a while for our drinks to come despite not many people in the restraunt. The eggplant and mushroom burger is a must, it was soo good. The saffron milkshake I didn't realize at the time was $18. Very overpriced for a milkshake and definitely does not match the quality. Caesar salad is okay. Didn't end up getting the waffle because it just felt like it would take a while. But seeing the other the reviews. I think this spot is more for pizza, burgers and sandwiches than anything.

Parking: There is a Parking lot on the back, just turn off onto the side street and you should see it on the right. Otherwise theres free street parking. An hour limit before 6pm but after not timed“

“This little spot makes some of the best Vietnamese coffee I’ve had. The salted coffee is my go-to. It’s bold, smooth, and just the right mix of sweet and salty.

Their chè ba màu is the best. Packed with chewy beans, creamy coconut, and a heap of sweet toppings, it’s rich, refreshing, and full of texture. Every spoonful is layered and satisfying.

“Such a cute coffee shop, always a win when I get to make it in before closing. Today I tried the strawberry matcha latte and it was so delicious, creamy and not too sweet at all! The gentlemen working was very kind and welcoming as well. I can’t wait to try more from their menu!“

I see some reviews complaining about wait time but the place tends to get quite busy being inside the mall and within proximity of the local high schools during lunchtime.
