Although, we were glad to have tried it, we found the tea mousse too bland (not strong or sweet enough) in combination with the salted (and sage?) spiced pistachio. By themselves, the different layers were delicious. Together, I wish the flavours were better balanced and the chiffon replaced by a denser textured base —perhaps a biscuit, cookie or crumb.“

Totally understand why friends always mention this place with some of them being regulars.

The barista was very helpful with providing suggestions of beans based on the information I gave about my husband's preferences. Also provided additional tips after I picked a coupl of bags as to which to drink first or rest.

Tiny shop within the food court on the second floor in Pacific mall. Well lit and very clean. Don't recall seeing any seating, looked more like grab and go, which was fine.

Coffee had a very nice strong natural taste, be sure to fix yours, because I forgot and ended up with a very salty last few sips.

“At the st. Catharine’s location at the Pen Center. I’m here with my daughter. Had the wings and fries and the dessert Divide and conquer Belgian Waffle! “Went to Gate Cafe to get some work done and was pleased to find plenty of seating with nearby outlets. While I was there, I had to try their Brisket Poutine, which was $20.

The poutine is definitely big enough to share, making it a great value. The brisket was tender and flavourful. What really stands out is how generous they are with the gravy and sauce—it's incredibly rich and savoury. My one piece of advice is to not mix everything all at once. The sauces are so abundant that it can quickly make the fries soggy, so it's best to enjoy it in smaller, well-portioned bites.

Overall, the poutine was a fantastic treat. Paired with the fast and friendly staff, my experience at Gate Cafe was a productive and delicious one.“

She clearly explained the options between sale pricing and the referral program, which is an amazing incentive for both the new purchaser and the referrer.

Theo, the manager, was also instrumental in making this such a great overall experience. This location is now my favourite and a must-go for anyone considering a Nespresso purchase.“
